In fact, we only realized there was no second photographer after she arrived, and even then, we had to ask about it ourselves. She later said she would issue a refund for this, but never did. We ultimately had to dispute the charge through our bank. Not having a second photographer significantly impacted our wedding photos. As a result, we missed many important moments we had specifically wanted captured, including key shots like walking back down the aisle. While she was kind and did her best on the day of the wedding, one person simply couldn’t cover everything, and that limitation shows in our final gallery. Leading up to the wedding, communication was already a challenge. Our engagement session itself went well, and we were happy with the photos, but the process surrounding it was frustrating. We had a call scheduled that she simply did not show up for, and she didn’t reach out to explain or reschedule—I had to follow up myself, and even then, she didn’t respond for several days. She also set a deadline for delivering the engagement photos that she did not meet, later attributing the delay to a “hardware crash.” After the wedding, communication became significantly worse. She set deadlines for updates and delivery but did not meet them and completely stopped responding to texts, emails, and phone calls. During this time, she frequently cited reasons like “things have been crazy” or “a family crisis,” yet was actively posting on social media about vacations and her personal life. I would have greatly preferred honest and proactive communication rather than repeated excuses. There was a period where I genuinely worried we might not receive our wedding photos at all due to the lack of response. While the photos we did receive turned out well, they are incomplete, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The lack of professionalism, failure to honor the contract, and poor communication made what should have been a joyful experience unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend her for any event.

She assisted with keeping us on time for the day, capturing the moments I did not even consider as well as the ones I really wanted to, and stayed upbeat the entire day. She also really helped with instructing on how to take pictures in order to capture beautiful ones (in case you are nervous or not great in front of the camera) and was great with phone/email/ and video chat communications during the entire process! I could not be more thankful and appreciative of her! I highly recommend Michelle for wedding photography if you are currently looking for a good fit!

Her price is extremely fair for what she provides. She captured both our engagement and our wedding perfectly! She has a bright and airy style that looks completely natural. She has a really good eye and knows what looks good. You cannot go wrong with hiring her!
