Our wedding photographer was "my thing", the wedding detail I was the most invested in because it would help us relive our day with our families now and in the future. I wanted a photographer who would capture the emotions of not just the bride and the groom but of the bridal party, extended family, and our guests. I struggled to find the right photographer who's portfolio wasn't a long list of static, posed images. That is, until we were recommended Michelle. O.M.G. I was instantly captured by her website and the wide range of weddings, locations, and styles she had covered. I am not an outwardly emotional person but I couldn't help but tear up at the images she shared online. I could not give a stronger recommendation for working with a wedding vendor. Michelle also shot our engagement photos which was the perfect way to capture images of Chris and me around our neighborhood and it was a brilliant way to get to know Michelle so that we felt like friends by our wedding day. Being a 2020 bride brought a whole new layer of stress and uncertainty to the wedding planning process, and her positivity, reassurance, and dedication to our wedding was and is so incredibly appreciated. Chris and I will forever cherish our engagement and wedding photos and are so very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Michelle and have her be a part of our special day. How many times do you get to say you were photographed by a Vogue photographer?!?! Love you Michelle!!!  Pros: -Michelle is a true artist and somehow makes every shot look beyond glamorous.  -Creativity  -Responsiveness and level of detail in her communications. Major plus for Type A brides (and Type B.) -Her ability to capture the emotion of the day. Truly wow.  Cons: I wish I could pay Michelle to take pictures at every single one of our important life events because she makes us look way more attractive and cooler than we are. :)

We just got our wedding photos back & I immediately sat down to let others know how pleased we are. I knew the moment I got engaged that photography was a high priority because at the end of the day, it's what you're left with. I'm a photographer myself and we had a very specific vision in mind when trying to find a photographer who could capture our wedding that stands the test of time. We also needed someone who could handle various and challenging lighting conditions. Rain, sun, clouds, dim interiors — you name it, we wanted our photographer to be an expert at handling whatever the conditions. Michelle did that and so much more. She was professional. Michelle did an AMAZING job photographing our small wedding on 11/14/20. Working with her was a dream. She made us feel comfortable and at ease. Michelle is an absolute dream to work with!! She is kind, professional and really comforting amongst all of the wedding day craziness. Most of all, her work is insanely gorgeous! She was able to capture truly organic moments, which my husband and I will marvel at forever. Best of all, we get to work with her twice! Because of Covid-19, my husband and I decided to do a micro-wedding this October, which Michelle shot. The best of the best! Michelle was the vendor I was most excited about for my wedding. I’ve only gotten a sneak peak so far and I’m already in love with our wedding day pictures. She also did a FANTASTIC job with our engagement pictures. I told her the vibe I was going for and showed her some examples of city engagement pictures I liked and she was able to create the same aesthetic for us- we got so many compliments on them! Also she is super professional and will go out of her way to get the best shots in the best locations- she has the most amazing eye for finding great backdrops and lighting. Lastly, she allows her clients to be natural and enjoy their day without having to constantly pose them in the same old stiff portraits. That was my favorite thing about her that convinced me to book her. Overall, if you’re on the fence, book her! Her work speaks for itself.

Your wedding photographer search can stop here-- you won't find anyone better. Absolutely worth every penny. Pictures were stunning, timeless, elegant, whether they were portraits or candids. Nobody can hold a candle to the kind of photography-- except for maybe the folks that do the Royal Weddings. Many of my friends spent more money than I did on photography, and the results cannot even compare. We worked with Sabrina, Michelle's assistant photographer. She is the sweetest soul and so patient with my bridezilla anxieties the day of! She is truly an artist! 100% for their professionalism, kindness, and value for money.

From start to finish, working with Michelle has been an absolute dream! She was referred to us by our engagement photographer and we not only immediately clicked with her, but loved her style (Her works speak for themselves!). Michelle makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera (I'm typically not) while also making it feel like she's not even there! She communicated with us, had a very easy process for family portraits, and is a truly talented photographer. MICHELLE F-ING SCOTT NAILED IT. She was one of my largest expenses however she was worth it. I had a blast meeting her she was so comforting and gave off such a warm and welcoming vibe. When we met her she gave us the cutest folder with our initials on it, a little goodie bag of vendors she recommends, and some other items; but what it came down to was her attention to detail. This shows throughout her photography as well. I told Michelle I didn't want too many staged photos I wanted the day to be shot how the day went. At the wedding she was the best it was like having one of my best friends shooting the wedding. After the wedding she emailed us photos from her iphone and YALL FROM HER IPHONE THEY BLEW ME AWAY. I can't imagine what the ones she took on her camera. I'll update once I receive the photos but the only thing I wish was that she could've stayed longer and shot my 4 person bouquet toss, and my glitter bombed exit. She aint cheap but she's worth EVERY FREAKIN PENNY.

Michelle and her Assistant couldn't have done a better job of photographing our wedding. We loved working with Michelle because she provided us with beautiful photographs and we love, love, love being able to go through the photos to remember our favorite day. Michelle Scott is a truly amazing photographer. Her works speaks for itself. When I saw her portfolio I knew we had to hire her, and she went above and beyond! Michelle is a true professional, she KNOWS what she's doing. The day of our wedding she didn't waste any time. Even when we were switching locations she was always snapping photos. We got every photo we wanted... family, bridal party, all of it. And several truly special photographs of my husband and I. I never felt rushed or worried that we weren't getting the shots we wanted. Taking photos can sometimes feel awkward, especially this kind of photography. Michelle made me feel so comfortable, I felt like a model! If you put your trust in her, she will not disappoint. We walked into an alley behind a dumpster at Michelle's suggestion and got some of my FAVORITE pics of the night. Michelle made sure to send sneak peeks in the weeks after the wedding and when we got the full album I was blown away. Michelle really told the story of our wedding through her photographs, it was like reliving the moment all over. Who needs a video when you have photographs like these?? Michelle was referred to me by one of my creative coworkers. I browsed through her site and instagram and was immediately drawn to her specific style. It was more moody, deep and dramatic without trying. She really does know how to capture the mood and make you look classically stunning. I'm usually more comfortable behind the lens, but Michelle made me feel and look like a million bucks in her shots. We had been emailing back and forth and were planning on meeting up to get to know each other and go over details, but our lives were so busy that we were only able to discuss everything in person and by phone. The moment we met on my wedding day, everything just felt like she was an old friend that totally got me and I didn't have to explain anything to her. There are not enough kind words we could use to describe Michelle. Not only is she an extremely talented photographer and artist, but she is an exceptional human being. We were lucky enough to have her shoot both our engagement photos and our wedding day. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease despite how awkward we both felt in the beginning. Hired Michelle for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. Best Decision Ever!! Firstly, she is very professional and very structured, which meant that all our photos were given the same amount of effort and care from the very first to the very last (even after 9 hours on the day of). Personality wise, she is extremely fun, easy going and very much into whatever or whoever she is shooting at that time. She gives great direction and took the best pictures that we couldn't even imagine even in 40 degree, gloomy, winter weather. On the day of the wedding, her assistant Harmony and herself captured every aspect and every moment. I can safely say that she will be my go to photographer for ANY event or occasion in the future.

Let be start off by saying, that hiring Michelle Scott Photography was the best choice we could have made! She doesn’t take just photos, every photo she takes is a piece of art, and she didn’t take a single bad picture. Every picture was perfect… When I say perfect, literally I mean it. My husband nor myself aren’t the posing type of people, and neither is Michelle, she gives some pointers but then she lets you do your thing, and that’s what makes great pictures. We live in Atlanta and hired Michelle Scott, to take our engagement photos (after researching photographers in the Atlanta area for days). At this point we haven’t hired a photographer for our wedding yet. The day had come to meet Michelle for the first time for our engagement photos. I’m not going to lie my husband wasn’t looking forward to it at all. So after many hours of taking pictures in the Georgia heat, Paul actually turned to me and said I enjoyed it, and that we better book her for our Savannah wedding… and we did! Not only is Michelle the best photographer around, she’s super cool and just an awesome person. She is extremely talented, detailed, professional, and has an eye for photos. Holding a camera was what Michelle was born to do. I never seconded guested myself or find myself worrying about how the pictures would come out. We just got our wedding photos back and they are jaw dropping, she captured the day in photos. Years from now I will be able to look back at the pictures and remember every detail. If I can give you any advice, it would be to hire Michelle Scott to take your photos. She won’t let you down!

She photographed our friend's wedding and their pictures looked great. We had to book her for our wedding day! We also asked her to shoot an engagement session. The pictures she took are unbelievable! Michelle is super creative - she plays with different lights, colors, reflections, etc. to make your pictures look wonderful! On top of all that, she is really nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend her.

While research wedding vendors we knew that our photographer was going to be one of, if not, the most important vendor (especially since we opted not to get a videographer). We choose Michelle for our engagement photos back in November 2013 and our wedding photos this past August 2014. From the first meeting we know that Michelle was the right choice.
