About this vendor
Michelle understands it can be overwhelming for couples and families to pick a photographer who best complements their personalities. “There are numerous photographers in the Twin Cities area, and we all have tons of passion for what we do,” she says. As to Michelle, her emphasis is on great composition, without forced posing. She possesses a real knack for being in the right place at the right time, capturing natural moments as they happen. Her eye is quick and the shots are crisp, meaning images stand on their own without need for extreme editing or re-touching.

Working with Michelle was great! She was super laid back and flexible leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding she was a huge help! We ran into a last minute snafu with...
our processional song, and she jumped right into action and came up with a plan. She was also able to take charge and organize everyone so we could get all of the photos we wanted taken before the ceremony. And to top it all off, she's great with children!
Michelle was so great. From the first emails/meeting to the fun, easy wedding day experience, to the final product was all incredible. She and her second shooter listened to us, an...
d perfectly captured the spirit of our day. Our guests didn't even notice they were there, and they worked very smoothly with the videographers as well!
Michelle was our photographer for our engagement photos and our wedding photos. We absolutely love our pictures! Her skill is apparent from the pictures she takes, but what we espe...
cially appreciated was her personal skills. Michelle's warmth and kindness made it easy to take a large number of photos. She was also very patient and skillful with navigating through family requests for photos that were above and beyond the list we came up with. We highly recommend Michelle!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Michelle! She came highly recommended to us through a friend and co-worker and now we can't recommend her enough.
From the ...
first meeting, to engagement photos, to the actual wedding day it was great working with Michelle. Neither my husband nor I had much experience taking a lot of photos and Michelle made us feel comfortable right out of the gate. She goes above and beyond to help capture the magic of your wedding day and on top of all of it, the photos turn out great!
Michelle was wonderful in every way. From the initial contact to the delivery of the photographs afterwards, she was fantastic to work with. She made my wife and I feel completely ...
comfortable in front of the camera and worked with us to exactly what we were looking to receive for memories. She focused on the "little" moments, such as centerpieces and decorations, as well as the "big" moments, such as the first kiss and dance exactly as we wanted it. She was patient and organized with completing all of the shots that we wanted! I would recommend her highly to anyone, especially same sex couples looking for someone to capture their love perfectly!!
I was referred to Michelle from my band, Mish Mash (who incidentally rocked my reception exceptionally hard), and I am SO so glad they did. Michelle was a joy to work, we hit it of...
f from day one. Kind of like the old art adage, I don't know photography, but I know what I don't like. Michele checked out everything I sent her as a "what not to do." From that, and taking the time to get to know me and my now-husband, really got what we were about, and what we wanted from the day, and it comes through in her photography 100%.
She even went above and beyond, letting us use the engagement session the day after the wedding at the MN state fair. We were all zonked from the day before, and it was a crowded and exhausting experience, but she had fun with us and took some great shots of us in the fair in our wedding gear, and that extra effort gives us a gift I will forever be grateful for.
If you want a photographer to get to the heart of what you're about. Michelle is your gal, hands down.
After a painful outing with another photographer, Michelle was a breath of fresh air. She was absolutely professional and her pictures are awesome. Although we are not the most pho...
togenic couple ;) we loved our engagement pictures and can't wait to see our wedding pictures! She was always on time, organized, and professional. All our pictures were taken quickly and she had no problems with us asking for different things on the day of. Plus, the photo booth she did for us was BOMB. We all had a blast and I can't wait to see the pics! :) Thanks so much Michelle! I will forever be suggesting you to friends and family :)
Michelle Tanner is fantastic! I am so excited about my wedding pictures. She was so professional and nice and easy going. I have a perfect wedding album that tells the story of my ...
wedding day like a fairy tail. I also didn't have to worry about her. She showed up on time for our appointments and wedding day. She was calm and stress-free. And she was great about handling my last minute requests. My pictures are to die for. She even made the Church look great being it was just brick and white walls. I interviewed many other photographers but Michelle was just perfect from the get-go. Brides -- you will not regret having Michelle capture your day. Your pictures will be beautiful!
