answering all of our questions throughout the process. The space is beautiful and felt like a perfect fit for our ~220 guests-our group especially loved the large dance floor. Being right up the street from the lake, we were able to take some nice photos by the water and also at Gillson Park before the reception started. The food was incredible, and the cake turned out great. Would highly recommend!

food, and cake were above and beyond our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests - I actually don't think there was a single request they couldn't accommodate. We would absolutely recommend Michigan Shores Club as a wedding venue!

s a bit tight, but we also had to use a lot of the big tables because of how the groups worked out. We did our ceremony there in the Canterbury Room and it was so nice. We went through a change in catering directors, which was worrisome but ended up working out ok. There was some confusion on the day of and the day before. We paid extra to have the Canterbury Room open, which gave us more room and made it feel more open.

Anita made the entire experience organized and fun; when we wondered if we could have a pool table, she made it happen, when we inquired about ice sculptures, she had quotes ready for review, when we all brainstormed at once, she listened to everyone, but made me and my husband always feel like VIPs. I'm still dreaming about the dinner and late night snacks - delicious! James listened to our vision for desserts; the cake was beyond gorgeous, an Art Deco detailed beauty, and the croquembouche on each table was exactly the pretty detail we imagined. Seror was the smiling face we were always happy to see and made our champagne request happen with a special order. Every member of the Michigan Shores team was professional, prompt, and truly made our day the happiest of our lives. We feel so lucky to be able to come back and visit the place that made all of our wedding memories so perfect!

was planned carefully ahead of time, and we were very happy with all of the detailed paperwork (contracts, floor plan, etc) the Club provided us with ahead of the event. It helped very much when planning from out of town to have everything documented in advance so clearly. Nothing felt rushed and everything about the planning gave me confidence in the Club's experience and staff's professionalism in planning big events. Every special request we made (outside late night food, special table decor, wine and beer selections, etc.) was accommodated without any problems. The food and wine itself was great and we got may compliments on the salmon and the cake, especially. I was initially thinking that I would need to hire a day of coordinator to manage all of the vendors, but I didn't end up needing to do this because the MSC worked so seamlessly with our band, photographer, florist, and everyone involved. We were so pleased with everything that was already included in the package (everything from linens to the cake!) which helped us plan and made the entire process less overwhelming than it would have been with more vendors. The Club easily fit our guest list of 145 with lots of room for a dance floor. We used the east porch for cocktails and the canterbury room/ballroom for dining and dancing. Thank you again to Anita, James, Seror and the entire MSC team for all you did to make our evening one we will never forget!

The MSC staff listened to our ideas and offered their own when we asked for tips. They worked seamlessly with all of our vendors -- from florist to band. They accommodated our large guest list and ensured that everyone had a great time! The night was the happiest one we've ever had, and it was in large part because of the wonderful team at MSC. Our cake was beautiful, and decorated exactly as we had asked. And the dinner was delicious, too! (Something we didn't think was possible when serving a group so large.) The stage fit our 11 person band, and our dance floor was packed the entire night. MSC did a wonderful job ensuring that the guests would be comfortable and all needs were met. We loved EVERY minute of the day!
