After the festivities wind down, eight cozy cabins are available for on-site lodging for up to 55 guests to rest their heads. - Bill GarlutzoOwnerFrom the start, Mr. Garlutzo (Bill) had a vision of changing this sizeable resort into an upper scale Colorado mountain cabin experience. Bill is originally from the Trinidad area, and so he is native to Stonewall and the surrounding mountains. Bill originally saw the property for sale in 2013 and immediately he envisioned his new resort.

e tv. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice place for a quick getaway for a couple or family, and reasonable prices comparable to hotels in the area which don't include as much as the cabins do. Would definitely stay here again.

I so wanted to give this a big wonderful review. But my experience can only lend a 2 at this time. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros
* Staff and owners were friendly and accommodating and attentive.

Cons
*Rusty Teflon pots and pans in the cabin we stayed in. This of course is a health hazard. In fact, the kitchen was not well equipped with cookware or utensils, something to keep in mind if wanting to cook a meal for your family.
*Gas Grills were dirty and looked like a fire hazard.
*It was hot! We stayed in mid-August and our cabin was so hot during the day and night. We had only one fan. This made for an uncomfortable weekend.
*The mattresses were pretty old. Old as in sunk-in-the-middle old when you laid on them. This led to an already uncomfortable night’s sleep in the heat.
