We used MLSP for our wedding, and I could not have asked for a better experience! Scott was so friendly and charismatic and we knew right away that they were the right fit for us. He helped settle all of the nerves we had about being professionally photographed. Renae and Olivia bared the cold with us and photographed our engagement shoot and wedding in freezing conditions. Olivia even lent me her winter boots so we could trudge through the snow to capture the most stunning winter wedding photos! We were blown away by the entire MLSP team from start to finish. They were very helpful in the planning process and gave us tools to create a timeline that was perfect for us. On wedding day, Renae and Olivia were very friendly and made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. We were fortunate enough to get our full gallery of photos back from editing only 2 weeks after our wedding, and I could not be more happy with the results! They truly captured our day beautifully and I will cherish the photos forever!

Our wedding was planned as being all outdoors, the rain had other plans but Meredith and Julia were so patient when we wanted to see if the rain would subside so we could get married outside, on top of the hill like we planned. They made taking pictures so fun for the whole wedding party.

Throughout every moment of wedding planning this team was there to give advice and help give great ideas and suggestions. Always so responsive which is so reassuring. And the day of, it almost felt like having guides to help us get through the day. They were so prepared and professional and made it so easy to just relax and enjoy the day while they captured every wonderful and important moment and detail. Especially things I never thought of but am so glad I have those memories forever in our photos.

Highly recommend this company for wedding photography and really any photography needed! Absolutely loved working with the team from start to finish - their personal touches throughout the process really make them a standout company! We were grateful that our package included an engagement session (because we wouldn't have done one otherwise) - it really helped us to be more comfortable with photos on our big day. Wonderful photographers. They did a wonderful job capturing my groom and I's personalities, but also making sure the pictures were just gorgeous. I will also add that we got married in Austin, MN which doesn't have the most photogenic spots- however that was clearly not a problem for midwest. Our wedding was about three months ago and I STILL look at our wedding pictures in awe. So many family members have complimented us on the beautiful pictures. We are so grateful!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Midwest Lifeshots! We picked a winner for sure! Even now, months after the wedding, we feel like part of a family! Never once felt like a transaction. Scott and Jen were our photographers and they made every moment so special and fun! First, they are soooo responsive and helpful. They answered all of our questions and put our minds at ease often! Our engagement shoot was absolutely a blast! It was freezing in Mn and snowy with ice everywhere. To us, the most essential wedding vendor is the photographer. Someone who captures the entire day with clear, natural, beautiful, real-color photos to help us relive our special day. Midwest LifeShots met all of our expectations and then some! Beyond the beautiful 800+ pictures we received from our wedding, working with Scott and Jen was a pleasure! After my first phone call with Scott, I knew I struck gold. His personality instantly made me feel like he was my newfound friend. He constantly put me at ease answering all of my questions at all times of the day/night up until the day before our wedding. Meredith, Renae and Sam were the team members assigned to photograph our wedding and cannot say enough good things about them all. We first spoke with Meredith who developed our timeline for the big day so we could ensure everyone was in the right place at the right time. She also made sure we'd have time at the cocktail hr to thank our guests which was important to us and also make sure we got our pictures taken at the golden hour which were by far my most favorite pictures of all. They all made taking photographs incredibly easy, had so many great ideas for the location and readily corrected our positions/out of place hair or whatever it may be to ensure we looked our best in the pictures. Meredith even went of her way to sew on the top front button of my husband's suit that had fallen off after the ceremony to make sure it wouldn't affect anything. But what really meant the most to us was that the team had printed and framed a photograph to place on the gift table. The day itself flies by so quickly and that picture helped us focus and reflect back on that moment that happened just an hour or so before and fall in love with the day all over again. I've been recommending them to everyone and can't wait for the day to work with them again!

Literally the most fun team you will work with. Not only do they stay in touch with you from the moment you book them (sending texts to check in, emails helping you with planning, Skype dates and even gifts in the mail!) but they make your day so effortless and smooth in every aspect! My experience with Midwest LifeShots Photography was absolutely fantastic. Scott and Jen are very easy to work with and will do whatever they can to make your wedding day or engagement photo shoots very special and memorable. When my wife and I began looking for all of our vendors and venues for our wedding, we always looked at 5-10 different options. We wanted to know what was out there and what would make our wedding day stand out and be special. When we met with Scott it was different. We left the meeting and I said I think we found our photographer. We talked about it on our drive, the pros and cons. Why having a Rochester based photographer going to a St. Cloud wedding seemed crazy, but we decided that even though it might sound like a hassle it would be worth it. Not only was it easy and hassle-free, it was a blast. We had so much fun working with them! We also got our Engagement photos with them. (Which was a great package deal.) It was professional and fun during every meeting we had with them. Our Wedding Day was the best day of our lives, and they were a huge part of making it fun and special. Even with 95 degree heat we never got grumpy being out in the sun (a HUGE feat for me.) They kept things light and moving with smiles on all our faces. The photos came back amazing. I still look at them and it takes me right back to that day. Those moments. Such a treasure to have them so respectfully and lovingly taken care of by true professionals and great people.

Hands down we would choose Midwest Lifeshots over and over again for our photographers!! We just got our wedding album in the mail this week and we cannot stop looking at it!
