We couldn't have asked for a better DJ experience with Mighty Fine DJs. From our first conversation with Aaron, he was super accommodating to our wants and needs for our wedding day and was very responsive and easy to work with. Throughout the planning process I felt like we were in great hands.
As a huge music lover, I wanted a specific vibe to our wedding day and DJ Andi absolutely killed it!!!! Andi and Matty were absolutely amazing and made the energy of our day so perfect and magical. She took our playlists seriously and created a custom mix that kept everyone dancing from our grandparents to our college friends. The setup and lighting were beautiful, and she had an incredible sense of reading the room, when to shift the energy, and what songs would land perfectly. She also accomodated my mile long list of “do not plays” which I appreciated so much. We got SO MANY compliments from guests about the music. Highly recommend Mighty Fine DJs to any couple looking for DJs who craft your night specifically for you!

Aaron DJ'ed our wedding and we cannot recommend him highly enough. From the planning phase to the day of wedding, he was engaged in the development of our playlist(s), transparent in the equipment needs & pricing, responsive/understanding/flexible as our plans changed, and incredibly helpful in making our vision become a reality. He took our "mood board" Spotify playlists and made them into cohesive mixes that flowed perfectly and expanded on our interests to create what turned into a great dance party.
On the day of the wedding, he set up a complete (and excellent sounding) sound system at our private venue that worked flawlessly. Aaron nailed every music cue perfectly, facilitated our toasts and speeches, and played awesome songs that kept people of all generations dancing all night. He played the hits! He worked very well with our day-of coordinator and officiant, and was extremely professional and respectful in all interactions with our guests. He was an integral part of our wedding and we are so happy and grateful that we could work with him!

DJ Aaron Francisco has a client list that stretches from Salesforce- Dreamforce, to Capitol Records, Guess, Box, SF Magazine, and Mayor Willie Brown, to.. you! He started out making mixtapes for his cousins at age 10, getting on the mic in between popular songs heard on the radio and MTV. He began collecting records before he ever owned a record player. For him, DJing followed as a natural progression. Hailing from a diverse musical background in San Francisco, his early influences included genres ranging from psychedelic rock to underground hip hop; from the Beatles to Bob Marley, The Cure to 2pac, and everything in between. From his days as a local party starter playing all-vinyl sets in college, he's continued to hone his skills- whether it's playing to a packed club, festival, or once-in a lifetime wedding. we originally reached out to aaron for those funky disco back beats he has in his mixes (we love a purple disco machine -esque dance party) and yet we were even more impressed when during the actual dance party, he transitioned between genres so effectively (from beyonce to love shack to chop suey?! and the guests went WILD). he kept the energies so high that by the time he called last song i was like wait what?! no!

se we saw that he DJed at some of our favorite restaurants and venues around San Fransisco (so his experience went past just weddings).
My fiance and I are big into music and we always said that we wanted to recognize/love every song that played across our entire wedding day, so we made Spotify playlists for each section of the day. We LOVED how Aaron was fully on board with sticking to our playlists. He did an amazing job of switching between generes in our playlists (going from 70s to EDM smoothly).
Our wedding was at a private home which meant Aaron brought in an entire set up to ensure speakers & microphones were set up across the different areas of our venue.
Lastly, we had to do a silent disco because of a noise ordinance and Aaron transitioned the crowd from his DJ set to the silent disco flllawwwlessllyyyyy. we were really worried this transition would be clunky but it was so seamless and we didn't miss a beat (pun intended).

The booking process and afterwards were thankfully very easy and intuitive and then when our wedding came we were super impressed by the music, professionalism, and just how easily the day flowed. He spent time really learning the couple’s preferences and even included a “no” section on the worksheet to list music they definitely did not want on their special night which I thought was great in understanding their needs and delivering an amazing set/night. He was able to appeal to wedding guests from several generations and delivered a great musical soundtrack for this special night. The couple was super happy and Aaron nailed the flow of music to speeches and special dances with ease. While we did work with a specialized lighting vendor, it was so helpful that Aaron was able to bring everything needed to make the room sound great. All the speakers and DJ equipment, microphones, etc. I would definitely hire Mighty Fine again!
