Mik & Max were so great! I absolutely loved their photography style and it's exactly what I was looking for for our wedding. They were also so great, accommodating and funny! They also worked so well with our groomsmen who don't love taking pictures and managed to get some great ones of them. We were also blown away by the sneak peak photos we received the night of the wedding. Highly recommend Mik & Max!!

Mik & Max were seriously one of the highlights of my wedding. They will involved themselves in your day as much as you would like and remain calm and flexible throughout. We chose a package that included an engagement photoshoot. We had never had professional photos taken as a couple before so we had no clue what we were doing. They encouraged us to bring our puppy which was a challenge that yielded hilariously amazing results. They honestly made taking photos feel like a game. They could tell we were often overwhelmed trying to come up with what shots we wanted so they offered suggestions and everyone in the bridal party feel relaxed. Throughout the night, when guests requested photos, Max would offer to text it to them on the spot. They were generous enough to send us some photos that night and they look amazing! I am grateful I can use one for our thank you cards. We are eager to see more! I cannot recommend this couple more. Of all our vendors, they were my absolute favorite. I honestly wish I was a little better with words so I can fill this review to the fullest, but I suppose there might not be that many people that hit read more anyways... But seriously, book these guys. They are AWESOME.

Mik & Max do not disappoint! We are forever grateful for these two for capturing our day beyond what we had imagined. They are the most perfect duo and make the best team. They made the day even more fun and were always up for new picture ideas. They went above and beyond throughout the entire event and always made sure we were taken care of. Would absolutely recommend Mik & Max to other couples looking for a photographer!

Mik and Max shot our wedding last September and it was incredible. They took all the classic shots my wife and I asked for (also my mom) and more. My favorite photos from the day came out of the “just trust me, this is the one” moments.

The pictures are amazing! They are able to work with any scenery. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience with them!

From our first virtual meet and greet with Mik & Max we knew that they would be a perfect fit for our wedding. My wife and I had a Star Wars themed wedding and we wanted to hire a photographer who not only had a passion for their craft, but were also passionate about capturing all the incredible details of our big day and Mik & Max did not disappoint. Leading up to the big day we had multiple calls with them and they were very responsive and receptive to new ideas and changes we presented to them. On the day itself, they worked together seamlessly to make all of our pictures happen quickly and smoothly. At the end of the night, we were surprised to be given a handful of photos of our pre-ceremony pictures to browse through. It was wonderful to be able to go back through those pictures the night of the wedding and be able to relive some of those incredible moments. Not to mention, they both dressed up to match our theme!! I cannot recommend Mik & Max enough. Thank you both so so much!

I am definitely much more camera shy and I felt super awkward about working with any photographer but Mik and Max made that all melt away. The pictures turned out amazing and I didn’t feel weird at all during the process. We loved working with them.

Mik and Max were an absolute dream to work with! I am talking my husband and I had NEVER done a professional shoot and we had no idea what to do/expect. They were so fun and bubbly and helped us all the way through the process. We also appreciated that they kept in contact despite booking so far in advance (our wedding was pushed due to COVID). They also delivered great photos and were so kind any time we had any kind of questions along the way. Everyone at the wedding loved them. Would 10/10 recommend them for any couples that can be awkward in photos they know just how to make you come out of your shell and shine!

When you think of the greatest duos of all time a couple pairs come up, Jordan & Pippen, Shaq & Kobe, Batman & Robin, and Mik & Max. The last of those being flexible, organized, precise, and above all talented. Mik & Max were the best choice for our wedding day. They controlled an admitted unruly wedding party fueled by white claws and whiskey and churned out some of the best shots I’ve seen. Both Mik and Max have an undeniable talent in photography. They were incredibly kind and accommodating. A natural way of making everyone feel comfortable, no one ever felt awkward while Mik & Max had their camera pointed your way. While the photos were incredible the little things were just as flooring. A book of mini Polaroids and Airdropped photos at the end of the night were a great touch to be able to show our friends and family right away. As far as Max & Mik go, you’re gonna like the way you look. I guarantee it.

I really cannot thank Mik and Max enough for photographing our Star Wars wedding! They were very responsive and communicative leading up to the wedding, they had many great ideas for our event, and not only are they genuinely kind, their energy is contagious too. They knew how to keep everyone laughing and smiling for our photos and even came in costume per our request!! It was pretty awesome seeing a Jedi roam around all night with a camera in hand. After the end of the night, we were gifted with a small portfolio of edited pictures from our first look and bridal party photos. This was a surprise to us and we are cherishing these beautiful pictures until we receive the rest. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you both so so so much for everything. If you’re on the market for wedding photographers, look no further. You will be in the best hands possible with these two!

Mik and Max were a joy to work with. They were super communicative leading up to the wedding, saved the day with umbrellas, brought incredible energy to their work, and most importantly produced gorgeous photos. Book Mik & Max now! Seriously, don't hesitate. To my own fault, I am a perfectionist with very high standards - Mik & Max blew past all of them. I know I made the right decision when I received a book in the mail from them detailing every part of the process. We had so much fun with Mik & Max. They are truly top notch. The photos are incredible but the quality of people and service is even better. Not to mention I received a handful of photos before our night was even over.

We hired Mik & Max for our engagement photos! Mik & Max were very communicative, willing to jump on video chat to discuss ideas and were responsive over email to coordinate times/locations before the day of the shoot. My fiance and I are huge nerds, so we pitched doing 1 of our outfit choices with items of our Ren Faire clothing and props. Mik & Max totally rolled with the idea and were super supportive! Despite a chilly (and windy by the lake) day, Mik & Max made us feel comfortable and gave us pointers throughout the session. The photos turned out GORGEOUS and we have gotten so many compliments on them! I loved that they provided direction without being pushy. They even showed up to the nerdy part of the shoot with FOG IN A CAN that added such a cool effect! We cannot wait to have them shoot our wedding in October.

In late October, my fiance and I decided we really wanted engagement pics with fall colors. On less than 2 weeks notice, Mik and Max were able to get us scheduled for a session, find us multiple beautiful locations in our area that had great fall colors, and advise us on outfits, timing, etc. The photos turned out great - we got a sneak peak from them that same evening, and the rest of the photos (over 100!) we got about 2 weeks later. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be using them for our wedding!

I found Mik & Max in a facebook wedding group and we had the best experience for our enagement photos! They knew what poses to have us in and the spots to take us to! Very pleased with their service!

Mik & Max were an absolute blast to work with, and the photos were STUNNING. They made my fiancé and I feel comfortable in front of the camera immediately, and had a good balance of letting us lead when we wanted, and helping prompt us with cues when we didn’t! They took the time to listen to what we wanted from the photos, and throughout our shoot they would show us some shots to make sure we liked them. We love Mik & Max!

Max filmed our wedding video and it was the best experience we could have asked for. He met with us well before our wedding and asked good questions about our day and the video, and he also got our opinions on what we wanted in our wedding video. He did everything we asked for and more. Max is amazingly creative, fun, and great to work with.

Max and his team did such a wonderful job with our wedding video! They stayed away from the overdone cliches, listened to that was important to us, and created a final product that blew us away. They were on time, responsive, and so easy to work with. We love watching our video! I can’t recommend them enough. By far the best investment we made that day.

We got engaged that day, and It obviously was just such a happy day for us, but working with Mik & Max felt like we could just have a good time and we knew you were capturing that joy. Not only was it fun because it was such a happy day, you guys made us laugh the whole time and it was clear you guys were at ease which helped ease our antsy-ness of being in front of the camera. I think I saw the engagement photos and just immediately teared up. They were so beautiful I couldn't believe it! Really felt like we had walked out of a movie. I think you guys somehow perfectly captured our whimsical but down to earth essence in a way that looks so natural in the photos. We look like ourselves in the pictures, but like really good looking versions of ourselves. Not edited out of honesty. Really so happy with them and so excited to see that same natural highlight of existing beauty for the wedding! We have said several times how helpful it was to have both of you there. It not only cut the tension of being nervous to be in front of the camera, but seeing you guys banter back and forth and demonstrate poses really helped us get into it! We love you guys!

Max and Mikayla filmed my wife and my wedding in April 2021. I had become doubtful that a wedding video could ever be more than a "flex" for friends to watch on social media. It felt like every video I had seen was just a movie trailer - stripped of sentimental moments and lacking authenticity. My wife really wanted to remember our day with a wedding video - and after we decided to go for it, our search led us to the incredible option: Mik & Max Photo. Don't have to time to read the rest? They were the best decision we made for our wedding. From the start, they were both incredibly supportive. We received easy to fill, thoughtful forms that helped us communicate important details and feel excited and confident as our wedding day approached. Having our whole day covered was the best investment - cameras were rolling from the start of both our mornings, capturing every tiny moment in a big way. Yet, the cameras were completely unobtrusive and things felt so normal and relaxed! Mikayla & Max's unique idea to pass multiple tiny, handheld video cameras to our wedding parties helped get everyone involved in documenting our day. My groomsmen had a blast recording the morning while we got ready - we saw moments that we would have never remembered from that day! Everything was captured on video, from our puppy being a rascal, to our wedding party pulling off tik-tok dance moves to personal notes of encouragement left by friends and parents on the small cameras. But it certainly doesn't stop there - Max and Mikayla pulled out all the stops with high quality video equipment that made everything feel great and look beautiful. I work as a full time video producer, and I couldn't have been more excited and impressed with how Max and Mikayla captured our details with multiple camera angles and best-in-class video gear. During the day, they were both extremely supportive outside of their roles behind the camera. You would never expect your videographers to be actively offering you water, holding bridal bouquets and constantly checking to make sure you're having a blast. Normally, you shouldn't expect that - most vendors aren't doing this. Max and Mikayla went so above and beyond that day, and we will forever remember them supporting us in the smallest and most meaningful ways that no one else could see. As our wedding night continued, Max & Mikayla were always present and capturing amazing moments - and it still didn't feel like we were in the spotlight. My wife and I were able to be ourselves, enjoy our wedding and celebrate with our family and friends - all while knowing we were in the best of hands. After our wedding, we were excited to get our video back! Max and Mikayla were excellent communicators and when our link arrived, we were speechless. Max sent us a version of the video that was "just for us - not for family and friends, just for you both to remember." That video, along with other fun video cuts he sent us, is the one that we've shared far and wide. The "story cut" of our wedding video is an incredibly authentic, sentimental and beautiful look back at our day. Three plays through, and the tears were still flowing. All the fun moments and quiet memories - it was an overwhelming evening for us. We've gone back to watch it constantly - it has been the most meaningful way we've remembered our wedding day. Mik & Max Photo will always be the best investment we made for our wedding day. Forever fans of yours Max and Mikayla!!

Mik and Max were AMAZING! My fiancé and I are both super awkward, afraid of the camera kinds of people. But Mik and Max made the whole experience VERY fun and calm! There was never an awkward moment and they filled the experience with fun and engaging conversation! They even had a playlist made from songs they new we liked in case we needed something extra to ease our nerves (very thoughtful)! NOT TO MENTION, the quality of their phots were PHENOMENAL! They FAR EXCEEDED what I could have ever imagined and I want every single photo framed (though that may lead me to narcissism). If you are considering using them for anything at all, I would HIGHLY recommend them!

Max and Mikayla made this process so easy and the results were amazing! My husband and I are not naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but we felt so at ease during the shoot.
