We love Mika! She did an amazing job on our engagement photos and wedding photos. She was great with communicating prior to our wedding and was easy to work with. On our wedding day, she and her second shooter went ABOVE and beyond by not only taking stunning photos but also assisting with things throughout the day. She is very creative and talented. Mika was amazing to work with for our engagement and wedding photo shoots, and made the experience super stress free! When we first reached out to Mika, we had an initial Zoom meeting with her discuss our expectations and what we were hoping to achieve. Prior to our wedding, she sent us a form to list out all our preferences for the day of, including the schedule of events, styles of photos we wanted, number of different groups of family or friends, so that she could plan out a detailed timeline of events for our big day! We then had another phone call to go over all the details on our form to make sure that she had everything she needed and understood all our needs. On the day of our photo shoot and for the wedding day photography, she made us feel super at ease and relaxed and made the entire photography process super easy, quick, and stress free. She was also great working with the children in our wedding party, making them feel at ease and coaxing them out of their shyness. Our photos turned out awesome! Thank you, Mika!

Mika was truly amazing. She made us both feel so comfortable in all of our photos, and she really worked hard to capture every important moment. The photos are stunning! She went above and beyond. I can’t say enough good things about Mika! From the get go, she was extremely helpful with any questions. As we got closer to the wedding, she helped me formulate a timeline and was willing to give any advice. She put us first the day of the wedding and contributed to the fun with the wedding party. She came to Pittsburgh for our wedding and prepared in advance by scoping out some shoot locations near our venue. I chose Mika as my wedding photographer for next June, 2022. I just want to give her a quick shot out as I am so happy that I ended up choosing Mika. She did our engagement photos a couple of weeks ago and the pictures turned out beautfiul. She gives direction on how to pose and made the shoot really fun. We got the sneak peaks back the next morning (so fast!) and the final photos quickly after that! She always responds very fast and is happy to answer any question I have. I am so excited to have her capture our wedding day and will be using her for all my photos moving forward. Highly recommend! UPDATE! Our wedding has passed and I am still SO SO happy that I chose Mika for all of our photos. Prior to the wedding she sent over a detailed questionnaire for us to fill out to get an idea of what kind of photos we wanted, etc. and also scheduled a call to go over everything in more detail. Like i mentioned previously, Mika is so responsive and is always willing to answer any questions or help out in any way (even unrelated to photography). The day of the wedding, she was amazing. Telling us how to pose and positioning all family members for the perfect family photos. She brought a second photographer with her which is something I wanted from the beggining and her other photographer was so sweet. We got our "sneak peek" photos within a day after our wedding ended (again, so fast!) and they are amazing. We cannot wait to see all photos when they come in. I am already thinking of getting on Mika's calender for a fall photo shoot with our pup :). Highly, highly recommend Mika to photograph your next event.

I cannot rave about Mika more! Our engagement photos went well and she was always so helpful leading up to the wedding. She was able to find some great spots for photos and captured everything I wanted for our special day. Truly a pleasure to work with!

I can't recommend Mika enough! She was incredible. We booked Mika after reading some reviews on theknot. I was nervous since it was a fairly "random" find. We got married out of state so we didn't get to meet Mika until the day of our wedding so we were pretty nervous but it didn't matter. She helped us feel confident and comfortable. She captured hundreds of amazing photos but didn't make us feel like all we did was take photos that day. We still got to really enjoy the day. Mika was assertive enough to get everyone into position without being loud or overbearing. She had super quick turnaround time for photos (both sneak peak and full gallery) which was amazing to have our photos in hand so quickly. If you're on the fence, just book Mika. She won't disappoint!!

Mika is great! We had a very small wedding and Mika helped us come up with a perfect photography package to capture our special moments. We did an engagement shoot with Mika a few months before our wedding which was a great chance to get to know her before the big day. Our wedding was in Brown County and she is clearly a pro when it comes to Brown County State Park and knew all of the best locations to shoot. Our photos came out beautiful! Mika is also really organized on the business side of things and has a great website for the contract/payment part of hiring a vendor which makes it super easy and a great platform for sharing photos and purchasing photos. She was also super quick and responsive when it came to questions.

I cannot recommend Mika enough! Not only is she professional, communicative ,and personable but she is also extremely creative! I consider myself a pretty awkward person when it comes to being photographed but Mika quite literally sets you up for success. Mika is worth every penny!!

Omg! There are NO words to accurately describe how amazingly professional, creative, and talented Mika is!! I am blown away all the way from quick responses to prompt photo turn around time she is absolutely spectacular! It rained during our engagement session but Mika was ready! Added the CUTEST umbrella that she brought into some of our photos and they are by far my favorite and we’re not planned at all. She is such a kind, sweet soul and her demeanor feels so comforting. You can be shy, and nervous all you want but within 2 minutes you will feel like you’ve know Mika your whole life! Oh, and she’s adventurous! So thankful she braved the cold rain with us so we could get some cute boat pictures!

Mika is awesome!! We just had our engagement photos done and perfect is an understatement. I was a little worried how fast our session went, but it shows how great she is at her job. Working with Mika was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the start (before covid!), Mika was quick to respond, very nice to talk to, and incredibly helpful. Our wedding plans (dates, times, locations) changed several times because of covid and Mika was kind and patient enough to work with us through all of those changes. Even though she could not make it to our new wedding date, she hired an assistant photographer with a similar style to hers and then edited our photos herself. They turned out absolutely beautiful! Since my family in Romania missed out on seeing us get married, these photos were really important for us and we could not have been more pleased with how they turned out! Needless to say, we highly recommend Mika! She’s the best!

Wonderful Experience with Mika! I recommended Mika to my sister and her fiance when they got engaged. I have known Mika from school and I knew she was the person I wanted to do their pictures. At the wedding she was very organized with a list of images my sister wanted. She made everyone feel very comfortable, even people who are not fans of getting their pictures taken. We have received some sneak peek images and we all loved every single one of them!

Mika was incredible. Prior to the event, she used several techniques to get a good idea of what we wanted. She offered several packages fo what we might select. During the event, she was everywhere, all the time. She captured the wonderful and innocence of the children, and the hope in the event, and the knowing lovingness of the elders. She captured the thoroughness of the joy, fun, and love of the event. She also managed to capture something like the beauty I feel of my wife’s internal person, and the focus of our love inside the exterior event that was our wedding. We went through the pictures while listening to the song we danced to, “Pushing up Daisies” by Brothers Osborne, and they fit magically together. She is exceptional at her job. She is so good, that I became proud of myself for hiring her. We will love the photos she took forever; we are extremely pleased to have had her at our wedding.

We love Mika! We definitely have a unique timeline and she’s been so wonderful on working with us. We had an elopement/engagement shoot with her in the spring and loved the opportunity to meet her and get comfortable in front of the camera before our big day! I was pregnant and feeling on the fence about the shoot. But I’m so glad we did, she captured the moment beautifully. Can’t wait for her to shoot our wedding!

Mika is absolutely wonderful. We just had our wedding Sunday and I am eagerly waiting our wedding photos. However I have absolutely no question that they will be perfect. Our engagement pictures are absolutely wonderful and everyone loved them. Working with Mika is easy, natural and productive. Mika asked for a shot list beforehand and made sure every photo I wanted that day I got, even photos not on the list and being spur of the moment she made happen. Mika worked flawlessly with our wedding planner and videographer. I could go on forever about how great she was but I will just put it this way. Mika will be our forever call when we need pictures for our future family. She is worth her weight in gold.

On top of taking wonderful pictures, she helped shepherd everyone around before the wedding, and was generally eager to help. Some of our photos are truly stunning, and I couldn't be more happy.

Mika is so great!! My fiance and I are both very camera shy and NOT photogenic at all and she somehow made us look great in our engagement session! She drove out to the location the previous weekend to scope out areas and get ideas, so she was perfectly prepared for us when we arrived. She guided us through the whole hour while being professional and direct, but also friendly and personable! I felt so relieved after meeting her that I know our wedding photos will be in great hands with Mika.

It was an overall wonderful experience! Mika did a phenomenal job working with us as a couple and listening to what we were really wanting from our pictures. She did a great job of capturing our personalities. Mika was very professional and was very kind as well. For the wedding day, she was on time, prepared, and remained calm and patient with everyone throughout the evening. Overall, we had a great experience having Mika as our photographer.
