Mikaela has the voice of an angel!! So glad we hired her to perform during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. She was really helpful in choosing the songs for our ceremony and even accommodated a mashup that I saw online for my bridal entrance. Overall amazing experience and would highly recommend!

I knew I wanted live music for my reception and when I came across Mikaela's website, I knew she and her husband, Jordan, were the perfect fit. They have a beautiful acoustic sound and a music selection that Mark and I both love and knew our guests would appreciate. Their professionalism leading up to the wedding and on the day of was apparent. Not only were they our entertainment, but they were also our emcees. They did a great job keeping the flow of the reception and adjusted seamlessly as needed. Our guests of all ages really enjoyed their set and Mark and I could not imagine our reception without them. They really made all the difference!

Mikaela played piano and sang for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. She added a touch of magic to our day, it was absolutely perfect. Working with her on song choices and getting everything set up was a breeze and a pleasure. She even learned a new song for my bridal procession - if you're looking for a little something different to walk down the aisle to may I suggest a Pure Imagination instrumental played by Mikaela of course.

Mikaela and Jordan are some of the most talented musicians working in Texas. Their instrumentation, arrangements, and vocals are all stellar! Mikaela was terrific to work with and her gorgeous singing at our wedding was a highlight of the evening.

I knew immediately Mikaela was the right entertainment for us. She was one of the first vendors I booked. Her social media says it all. She is extremely talented, sounded beautiful and guests loved her. I shared with her I wanted a romantic vibe with beautiful ambiance background music and she did just that. She sang live and played piano but also switched to regular recorded songs when on breaks. She sang our first Dance song and the dances with the parents both live. Love love loved her! My guests loved her as well!! She is a busy hustler and actually worked 2 events right before us so do not wait to book her for yours!!

I had the pleasure of having Mikaela and Jordan perform at my recent baby shower, and they completely knocked it out of the park. Not only is Mikaela amazingly talented, but she is prompt with her communication and eager to hear feedback on your song preferences to make sure she sets the ultimate vibe (which she did!). One of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process was to hire Mickaela. She has one of the most beautiful voices we've ever heard and our guests remarked on this as well. Wow. It was an absolute privilege to have Mikaela play and sing at our wedding ceremony. My guests literally said they thought that we were playing a Spotify “cover music” playlist when they first walked in because she was truly THAT good. Never did I think the ceremony would be my favorite part of my wedding (we love to dance and eat so we thought the reception would be the highlight). But because of Mikaela, it ended up be my absolute most favorite and memorable part of my wedding day. I can’t say enough good things. She learned my aisle walk song too, in about a week. Her talent is incredible. And her energy is so magnetic too (as if the singing and piano weren’t enough). I got the chance to chat with her after and she is such a ray of sunshine. We really enjoyed our experience working with Mikaela. We just had our wedding and Mikaela was the vocalist for our first dance. She was very prompt answering all of our questions before the wedding. We found this very helpful, as we had an ever growing list of planning to dos and were eager to check things off the list. Mikaela sang our first dance song along with a string quartet. Her repertoire is extensive. I’m sure she can sing any song you choose. She and the quartet had never played together before, but you would not have ever known it! My father thought they were all part of the same group! They both rocked the song. We had a first look of our reception before all our guests. The combination of Mikaela and the quartet rehearsing along with the breathtaking reception room put me over the edge. I had all the feels! There are so many great things to say about Mikaela and Texas Sun Music, where do I begin?! First off, I want to say that I looked for months and months for a talented musician to play at our wedding, with no luck. I wasn't excited about any of the musicians I came across until one late night I stumbled upon Mikaela's instagram. I was instantly in love with her voice, her style, everything!! Speaking with her over the phone, I felt like she understood our needs and she was so accommodating to make sure it was exactly what we had envisioned. She even was a great sport and helped us with our slow jam at our wedding! It was so much fun! Also, I'm so thrilled that we made the decision to have Mikaela play at our rehearsal dinner and then her and her husband play as a duo at our wedding. Having her play at out rehearsal dinner really allowed us to enjoy her singing and get to speak with her as we were running around a bunch on our wedding day. I had so many guests tell me how much they loved the musicians at our wedding and how amazing their voices are. They kept saying "where did you find them?! They are amazing!" I would HIGHLY recommend Mikaela to anyone looking for an amazing musician at their wedding or any event. I will def be booking her the next time I throw a party/event. :)

Mikaela is AMAZING! I cannot recommend her enough!! She was so sweet and wonderful to work with, she made the entire process super easy and fun. She learned an ancient song (Morenika) in a no longer spoken language (Ladino) and made it seem so effortless… like that wasn’t a rediculously specific, incredibly challenging, and (probably) time consuming piece to learn on top of her already expansive repertoire. I found Mikaela at a open house my venue was hosting and I knew IMMEDIATELY that I had to have her at my wedding. She was the second vendor I booked after the venue 🤣 My wedding was october 21st and no joke any time I see someone from my wedding, each and every person mentions how amazing Mikaela was. We booked her for ceremony and cocktail hour and she was a hit! I only wish that as the bride, I would have got to enjoy her music more LOL if you are even considering booking mikaela at all, just do it. I promise you will not regret it!

Mikaela was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding as when I came across her on Instagram I knew we HAD to have her sing for us and Mikaela and Jordan delivered. They MADE our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Mikaela was prompt and so kind during the planning process, making it super easy for us to plan out music for the day. We set our ceremony music, and also had some “must plays” for our cocktail hour - based on those songs, Mikaela 100% captured the vibe we were going for and played so many songs we and our guests loved. We also added a custom song for our first dance and not surprisingly - it was performed beautifully. Some of my favorite short video snippets from the day have beautiful music in the background - it truly was the soundtrack for our day and I can’t say enough good things about working with Mikaela!

Words cannot describe how much I appreciate the talents of Mikaela and her Husband at our wedding. Our wedding was everything I imagined it would be and more thanks to this dynamic duo! We had a small wedding of 50 people in the backyard of a Villa at a vineyard and the vibe they brought was the absolute perfect touch! I was nervous that with a wedding that small, guests wouldn’t be dancing. But I was pleasantly surprised at how lively the dance floor was and the overall mood! They knew exactly what to play! It was all so effortless. I also just give them a shout out for learning a song and turning it into a duet for me and my husband to dance to as our first dance song. But I found her on Instagram and I knew she was the one for my vision! She threw in the bonus of her husband and that was a missing piece I didn’t even know I needed until I started watching their videos together and fell in love! Mikaela was a blessing for our wedding. She is an amazing vocalist and pianist and when paired with a cello it was absolutely beautiful. Our harpist had a medical emergency and Mikaela was able to find us a replacement the week of our wedding, she really is a life saver!

I will NEVER regret hiring Mikaela for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour music. First of all, she was my most responsive vendor BY FAR and was so incredibly kind the entire process. Secondly, I received SO many comments from guests on how beautiful the music was. We truly had people just sit in their seats near her during cocktail hour just to listen to the music. Hiring Mikaela - BEST. DECISION. EVER. I have received countless compliments from guests- even after the wedding-raving about how special her performance was throughout the evening. My now husband and I got married at an outdoor venue, and wanted music that sounded intimate, dreamy & personal. Mikaela made it happen & more. We didn't make it easy on her- 3 different processional songs, lots of announcements during dinner, and a large amphitheatre as the ceremony space which needed microphones for both her and the officiant. Nevertheless, she made everything flow seasmlessly, as if a wedding planner had it down to a T- even though we didn't hire one. The most special moment of the night was her live performance of our first dance song, which had everyone in tears. Thank you Mikaela for making our wedding day complete!

At the wedding itself, she of course knocked it out of the park for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests absolutely LOVED her as well and we got so many compliments for her music. If anyone is looking for live music, there is no point in looking anywhere else. She'll absolutely blow you away!

Mikaela is AMAZING and you NEED to have her play at your wedding ceremony or event!!! At first my husband and I weren't sure that we wanted a singer for our ceremony, and my mom happened to hear Mikaela play at an open house. She urgently told me I needed to go listen to Mikaela's voice on her website and WOW we were sold!!! Now I cannot imagine our ceremony without having had Mikaela there -- her voice is beautiful beyond words and I will never forget how special it was to walk down the aisle to her singing one of my husband and I's favorite love songs. All of our guests were asking us who she was and how we found her, and complimenting on how incredibly talented she is! Beyond her talent, Mikaela is also just such a genuine and kind person and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Our ceremony ran longer than planned, and Mikaela did not miss a beat -- she stayed late to play for our entire cocktail hour even though it was past our booking time, and she even stayed to sing at the reception with the band we hired (who's lead singer just happened to be her husband! How lucky were we?!) We truly feel so grateful that Mikaela was a part of our day and will call her again in a heartbeat the next time we have an event. <3

As the mother of the bride, I made numerous trips to Austin to research venues and vendors. I heard Mikaela sing at one of the venues I visited. Her voice stopped me in my tracks! I could not leave! I passed Mikaela's information on to my daughter and her groom. They decided to engage Mikaela for the ceremony and cocktail hour but went with a band suggested by the wedding planner for the reception. The ceremony lasted about an hour longer than we planned. Mikaela continued to play throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and sang at the reception. What I did not know at the time was that her husband is the lead singer for the band we hired and Mikaela stayed to sing with him at the reception. I can't count how many of our guests commented on Mikaela's amazing voice and asked her name! Mikaela and her drop dead voice made the wedding! Almost all the wedding guests stayed until the bitter (actually sweet) end. The dance floor was crowded the entire evening due to Mikaela's gorgeous voice and the very talented band! I contacted Mikaela when I realized that she had not been compensated for her time since the ceremony ran long. She declined the additional compensation because she said that she decided to stay and sing with her husband in the band so she would have been there anyway. Not only is Mikaela one of the most talented performers ever, she is a true professional! I would hire Mikaela a thousand times over!!! If I could give her a thousand stars I would. I am looking forward to having Mikaela perform again!

Mikaela and her husband are absolutely spectacular together! I planned a surprise proposal/proposal dinner with family and friends for my fiancé at La Cantera resort, they could not have fit the vibe and the occasion more perfectly. Mikaela was helpful from the very start with her email correspondence. She is so nice and made everything very easy! They got so many compliments that night from our guest, they absolutely loved them! You just can’t go wrong with booking the duo! They are part of the reason I would LOVE to re-live that night 1000 times over!

WOW! Words will never be able to express how grateful my husband and I are to of found Mikaela when we did. I surprised my fiancé, Zach Stevens, with a surprise proposal at The Four Seasons in Austin, TX. And Mikaela made the surprise super special by serenading us. My fiancé and I fell in love an acoustic version of song. And Mikaela performed it perfectly. She is amazing to work with and very timely with her email correspondence. Mikaela and her guitarist arrived in advance making the event run smoothly. I highly recommend her and her partner for any occasion!

Mikaela is so incredibly talented! Her beautiful vocals and keyboard enhanced our daughter and son in law’s wedding ceremony so much!
