while I was hiding away before I walked down the aisle I was crying. You can tell that they absolutely just love what they do and I am forever grateful for how special they made our ceremony. Everyone was coming up to me throughout the night to say just how spectacular they were playing!!! On top of that, Mikaela was an ABSOLUTE GEM to work with. She’s kind, listens, and is just the type of person you know you’d be friends with. I’m so glad I found her and enjoyed every second of working together. Again, HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. No one better!!!!!!

ack to the best day of our life. They played for 3+ hours, starting with our procession (which was outdoors and sound quality was perfect), through cocktail hour and dinner. They also played our first dance, which was a beautiful and jazzy cover of Make You Feel My Love by Adele. During dinner, they also played a piano version of Buy U a Drank that was so amazing and fun- was definitely a head turner for the millennials in the room. We got so many great comments from guests telling us how great they were and how much they added such a unique and charming flavor to the whole event. Mikaela coordinated directly with our DJ to make sure everything worked together and went smoothly which took a big logistical task off our plate. They are just total pros and it can’t be underestimated how helpful it is for your vendors to make the little things run smooth so you can focus on the other million things you’re juggling leading up to and on your wedding day. Beyond being super talented, Mikaela and Jordan are just the loveliest people and working with them was a dream. Mikaela met with us months before the wedding to talk through our music and gave us the time and space to make thoughtful decisions (which was amazing because my wife and I had severe musical decision fatigue). She was so so kind, communicative, and genuinely cared about helping us create the right feel for those meaningful moments. Really can’t recommend Mikaela and Jordan enough. If you’re considering live musicians for your wedding, you’ll absolutely love them!

xtensive repertoire of songs so it was easy to choose our favorites and bring my vision for a pop/folk/motown-inspired ceremony and cocktail hour to life. She helped us plan, was very clear and communicative but never pushy, and was even willing to learn a new song (for a very reasonable fee) which I had my heart set on including. We also had some pre-recorded songs queue-ed up for various points in the ceremony and a couple of musical performances by family members, and she DJ'ed everything seamlessly. I've run many events and I was worried about logistics like moving instruments from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, etc. but Mikaela is a PRO and had already thought of everything so there would be no downtime. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again for any event!
