My husband and I also hadn’t done engagement pictures, but she made our photos look as if she had photographed us a million times before. Once we met Mikaela we instantly connected with her and felt like our personalities meshed well. This helped us feel comfortable and natural, which was great since my husband doesn’t really like taking pictures. She found so many unique spots to take pictures at our venue that it’s hard to believe they were all at the same location. so glad I went with Mikaela & not a bigger company, I felt that I was getting something more personal & heartfelt. I had both my Engagement photos and Wedding photos done with her, I can tell you after both, what I imagined my pictures to look like was far below what I was given. I look back at the AMAZING SNEAK PEEKS (as I drool a little) and remember those moments; we were given perfect direction & none of us had to think too hard about what we needed to do, which was exactly my Main Objective of the day! I also want to let you all know that I DID NOT give Mikaela a single pose that I desired, as I've listened & watched creative people I have come to the conclusion that they can not be creative when you are giving them too much direction, which is hard on such a momentous day. I wanted all of the creative that I could out of Mikaela. And that is exactly what I got, I have amazing photos of my favorite girls, I have photos of the crazy, fun people that both Ryan & I surround ourselves with daily, & most importantly I have pictures of me & the man I love having the best day ever! She arrives on time and always come prepared. I trust that she will take good care of our bride and groom when we work together. She delivers the images very quickly. Her work is consistent and beautiful. She comes up with different spots each time she shoots on our property. I can tell she really cares about her couples.
