Mike’s artistry and beautiful work ALONE is a great reason to hire him; but there are so many other reasons that add to the fact that Mike is truly one of the absolute best, and should HANDS-DOWN be your number one choice. I was in communication with several photographers leading up to my first in-person meeting with Mike. We met for about an hour, he took the time to get to know our love story, our visions for the day-of and had a way of connecting with both my fiancé and I, unlike any other photographer I had worked with. It was in that moment, I knew he was THE person. Hiring him was one the best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process – and as a bride, you know that are A LOT of decisions to make. The day before and day-of the wedding he reached out to both my fiancé and I separately giving us advice, prepping us for what to expect, and built excitement for what was to come. When the day arrived, He was there early, took the time to explore and get to know the venue, brought with him another PHENOMENAL second-photographer and immediately made us feel at ease. Mike spent almost every single moment of our big day with us…and what I can say is that: He is patient, funny, charismatic, tender, calm, (so) FUN!, (so) detailed, efficient, gives AMAZING direction, and quite frankly, could have very well been part of our wedding party – that’s how likeable he is. To prove that my opinion is not subjective, I can say that EVERY single close family member, bridesmaids, and groomsmen has boasted about what a wonder Mike was throughout the day, and many can’t wait to get married, just so to have the opportunity to work with him again. Above all, the sneak peeks we got the day after the wedding were PERFECTION, and we are so excited to receive the final products. Thank you Mike!

My husband wants to add that he impressed him (that's hard to do) and very professional. Just a good dude!

was an all day engagement journey, Mike supported our dream and took the most amazing photos even though it was his first time at the site. He has a talent and eye for creative shots and we felt so comfortable with him during our engagement shots, we knew he would be dependable on our wedding day. He came prepared, and endured 114 degree weather for our wedding, all outdoors! He continued to smile and was mindful of the sweat we had to wipe off before our photo sessions. We even had a family emergency right before the ceremony, and he gave me the best advice during that time when I sought his counsel. Either move on with the ceremony to make the lighting before it went down, or stall the ceremony to take care of the emergency. He and the second photographer spent the whole day with us from hair and make-up in the morning to the end of the reception and everyone was heading home. He had us organize all of our family shots ahead of time to ensure we got every picture that was needed. He made us feel comfortable taking pictures and made sure we knew we didn't have to be professional models to take beautiful pictures. In addition I think that Mike's personality brings a sense of humor and calm to the craziness that is a wedding day and considering that he spends pretty much the whole day with you, this is important! He was available throughout the planning process and assisted with wedding questions that were not always necessarily photo related. er. The problem started about a week before our scheduled engagement photo shoot and I could not get a hold of him. I texted, called, and emailed and did not receive a response. With no confirmation of where and when we were meeting that day, I needed to speak to him but could not reach him. Meanwhile, he was constantly updating his instagram with new beautiful photos of other brides and grooms and here I was left in the cold. He didn't text me until the night before of our scheduled photo shoot. By this point I had accepted the fact I was being stood up, that Mike probably forgot about us, and went ahead to reschedule my hair and make up appointment. He was genuinely sorry and explained he was extremely busy because it's wedding season. I understand all of that, but while he has many brides and grooms come and go, I am THE ONE BRIDE in my life and expect to be treated with care. The two friends that recommended him to me were also experiencing similar frustrations. While they were already married and didn't need him to take their photos, they were waiting on their finished, edited photos which took months longer than promised. One friend needed their wedding photos from July to make Christmas cards, and received them barely in time to get the cards printed. He is an extremely talented artist, but he desperately needs help organizing, scheduling, and replying to clients. I unfortunately had to end our relationship and choose to work with a different photographer because I needed a more reliable photographer who I did not have to chase. I did not want to have to worry about whether he would show up on my wedding day or not.

The quality of his work is one-of-a-kind, and he composes the photos better than any of the other photographers I was considering.
