a COVID postponement. I have been to weddings where there have been multiple sound issues, but Mike's equipment was top of the line, and the sound was perfect throughout the entire ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had many of our guests coming up to us throughout the night and after the wedding to let us know how great the music was. Mike does not just 'play' songs, but actually mixes and creates transitions, incorporating mash-ups that made the night feel like a dance club. A few of our engaged friends even asked us for his info so they could hire him for their weddings next year. Mike kept the dance floor full the ENTIRE night. We had so much cake left over because people did not leave the dance floor to get dessert. We highly recommend Mike for your next event!!

Without him, I would have had no timeline for my wedding day. Let's be real. I had not a clue in the world what goes into a reception "timeline", Mike realized this and completely took care of it. His timeline for the night was so clear and detailed that the catering staff, photographer, and videographer all based their night off his document as well. He was so easy to plan with. Organization aside, our main goal for the wedding was to make it fun and have everyone dancing the entire night. We did not want people in their seats watching the party. Mike handled that with EASE. He ensured us that he plays his songs, based on the room. If he starts to play something that he notices the room loves, he plays more like that song. If he played something that people did not know or like he seamlessly faded out the song and started playing something else. We had a short list of songs that we really wanted to hear and he deliberately found the perfect time to play every single one of our requests. When I heard the song I asked for, I looked up excited to hear my song and there was Mike giving me a thumbs up. He cares about making you happy and giving you a great time on your wedding day. To this day, while people rave about many things from the wedding, the overwhelming comment is always about Mike. Our wedding was five months ago and I still frequently hear comments like, "That DJ was AMAZING!", "That DJ knew how to keep a room on the dance floor!", "I wish I had hired him for our wedding!" and the best one to hear, "That was the most fun wedding I have ever been to!" Mike truly made our wedding reception a blast. He is extremely professional,easy to work with, and he cares about what he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone.

He had something for everybody and kept all on the dance floor. Even the pre-dance music was appropriate with volume and genre. There wasn't a time during the night that there wasn't a large group of dancers on the floor. I'm 64 and I don't think I sat down once. He was timely and professional when making announcements and very accommodating. He was extremely attentive to detail, following the bride and grooms instructions on play lists as well as being able to accommodate requests. Truly amazing gentleman with a great personality to match. I can't imagine using anybody else! Top notch, real quality a gentleman with a great selection of music and a solid sound system. C./MD area, and you don’t hire Mike to be your DJ, you are making a huge mistake! Mike met with us a few weeks before the wedding to talk through logistics of the evening and through some of our “do not play” song requests. We were at first skeptical, because Mike does not take song requests (He will take about 10 requests if there are songs you have to hear at your wedding/event). We decided to trust Mike and not give him any requests. We let him do his thing. I cannot emphasize enough that our dance floor NEVER had a dull moment. Mike read the room and played songs that he knew our guests would dance to. Mike played song after song after song. There was never a break between songs – one song flowed seamlessly into the next! He didn’t interrupt the music with unnecessary announcements – you never even noticed he was there throughout the dance portion of the evening! I overheard guests while they danced, saying: “I have to go to the bathroom, but I just can’t miss the next song!” Forget the photobooths, and just hire Mike to keep your guests dancing all night long! The multi-color/disco uplighting lit up and changed to the music, adding to the fun. When he turned that on, our guests literally gasped. My maid of honour had a lot of guests telling her how amazing the DJ was! Mike was easy to work with the whole way through. He always let us know when he received our payments, and answered e-mails the same day I sent them. I wish every wedding I went to would hire Mike, because then I know it would be a blast! Guests told us it was one of (if not the most fun) weddings they have ever been to. I know a huge part of this was thanks to Mike!

Our venue was very rural and many of our plans were weather-contingent, but Mike was an absolute pro and his extensive experience with providing wedding DJ services helped us create manageable plans to cover all of our options. From the ceremony (which did get to be outdoors!) to the reception, Mike helped everything go perfectly. So many of our guests have contacted us to tell us how much they specifically enjoyed the music and dancing – From the first to the last song, our dance floor was absolutely packed! Finally-we felt like we could really trust him with his music selections. We honestly had very few songs selected and just let him run the show and it was the BEST.PARTY.EVER!! He never the music break, everything flowed perfectly, there were no awkward pauses and he had great suggestions for us in the planning process. The uplighting services he provides are a huge plus too- if you're thinking of hiring a DJ in the DMV area, Mike is your guy!

He was an excellent master of ceremonies, and he brought all the equipment we needed for the ceremony, speeches, and dancefloor.
