If you want a DJ who won't even attempt to play the songs the bride and groom request, get the wedding party introductions wrong (including the parents of the bride and groom) and ...
a bad attitude, Mike is your guy! I was part of a wedding that Mike was DJ and he had a poor attitude from the moment he got there. Even though he was told prior to arriving at the wedding that there was no power at the ceremony location, he acted clueless about this fact when he got there. He announced multiple wedding party introductions wrong (even though he was given a list with the order, names and songs for each). He also went up to the bride on the dance floor, toward the end of the night to ask for the remainder of his payment (which was actually being taken care of by the original venue). So he pulled the BRIDE off the dance floor to ask where his money was AND waited around and then said he was going to charge an extra hour. What a joke. Do yourself a favor, don't book this man for your wedding or special occasion.

one was on the dance floor all night long! He played such a good mix of everything, it was hard to stop jamming! Mike also does a great job with keeping everyone entertained as well! He is super involved and likes for everyone to have a great time.
Mike also offers a photo booth. Get it! It was such a hit, there was a line for it all night long! You have the option to add your name, hashtag or whatever you want to it and you get two strips to keep or give to the bride and groom. I would 10/10 recommend Mike in the Night for all your DJ needs! He was absolutely fantastic!

He was playing really boring dinner music rather than the carefully selected songs I had given him. He did start playing them when I asked.
He kept sitting down to play with his phone. He was paying so little attention that our first dance song started to play and I had to get his attention and tell him to turn it off. This was during dinner.
He made the bouquet toss fun, and did an good job with other announcements, but he needed to pay more attention, and play more of what we asked for.
He doesnt seem to remember things very well. He wanted to be on autopilot but our wedding wasn't exactly a typical wedding so that didn't work very well.
Despite all the hiccups, we had fun. The up lights were nice, and the equipment sounded great. Mike showed up in a suit. Nice guy, but a bit scatterbrained.
I think he is better suited to high school proms, and wedding receptions that want more of a club feel.

g I attended recently. He did a wonderul job and loves to have fun. I also noticed he communicated well with the photograghers and pastor. ( I talked to Mike and he told me that communicating with the photographers is super important to help make sure the photographers have time to get into position to capture all of the special moments- a heads up if you will) After seeing him in action all I can say is "BOOK WITH MIKE!"

idn't charge them up. On the day of the wedding he approached the groom several times with issues stating that somthing was wrong with his speakers and that's why it was going to sound weird. That he was just going to download our spotify playlist and use that the whole day. Also Mike stated to the groom right before that his microphone wasn't working well and wasn't sure what to do about it. The groom finally told him after being approached multiple times with problems with his equipment that he needes to talk to the wedding coordinator . When the bride was walking down the day of, the song cut off abruptly and then began to play again. He only uses a iPad hooked up to speakers. Not worth the money at all even if it's a "good deal". You get what you pay for.

He made sure that everything went as smooth as possible. When it was time to dance he had everyone on the dance floor! He played a good variety of songs and ALL of the ones we requested. He even got on the dance floor with us and took many pictures/selfies! He definitely kept the party going! All of our guests LOVED him! ppily and excitedly did as we requested. But, when it was time to get the party started Mike was on it! He did a great job and our guests LOVED his music. Some DJs make the wedding all about them by talking a lot and playing games, but Mike is not one of those DJs.
Mike catered to our style! He got the job done but wasn't over the top or cheesy like many DJs out there.
