Mike Landis Photographer

Mike is an incredible photographer and he is equally as kind and a truly genuine person. But let me first talk about his talent! I am forever grateful for the amazing moments Mike captured. Seriously, I am so in love with both my engagement photos and wedding photos, I couldn't be happier. Mike really listened to me and what I wanted. He appeased me by allowing me to "do the poses" I liked...which was awesome! But let me perfectly up front and honest; Mike is the professional! While all the shots were beautiful, the most amazing moments captured were a result of Mike's experience, knowledge and instruction. My advice; share with Mike what you like, talk to him, send photos etc. But be certain to listen to Mike, he absolutely, 100% knows what he is doing and it's perfection!!!! Mike was accommodating, responsive, flexible and such a pleasure to work with in all aspects of our agreement/engagement. He was happy to work with me on several occasions, accommodating my very "unaccommodating' schedule and working through some unforeseen concerns and complications...Mike went above and beyond and far exceeded my expectations! Mike truly cares about his clients and for me, made absolutely certain I was happy with his services and the end results.

We hired Mike for our wedding on 10/29/2016. We went with 2 photographers for our big day and it was the best decision we could've made. The photographs are absolutely stunning! I have received so many compliments and I can't stop staring at them! The best part of having 2 photographers on your wedding day is to have 2 points of view. During the ceremony, some of my favorite shots are the same moment one focused on me, and the other focused on my husband. It is amazing to see everything throughout the day, especially moments I may have missed. Mike was never intrusive and was extremely polite and easy going. I cannot recommend Mike and his business enough!!!! Photographs are the one thing you have left after the wedding, please don't scrimp on the photographer. Choose Mike and you will not be disappointed!

Mike Landis (and his partner Adam) were great on our wedding day. We'd never met in person since we did all of our planning remotely. It didn't matter. Mike knew all the great spots at our venue to photograph and, because there were supposed to be imminent thunderstorms, herded our wedding party to different locations to get the best lighting and take advantage of the dry weather. He ended up not needing to use his "rain plan," but instead jumped on every opportunity to capture great shots as the lighting changed, ushering the two of us outside at the end of the night to get a fantastic shot under a pink sky. The sign of a great photographer is that you don't even notice he's there the whole time. I barely noticed Mike or Adam all night, until they pulled us outside for that great shot. Friendly, reasonable, and great at what he does. I definitely recommend him for your wedding day!

Our venue had recommended photographers to us but the one we really liked was already booked, so he suggested other photographers to us that did similar work, which is how we came across Mike. Let me just say -- we were not disappointed at all!! Mike was so fun to work with and he took the time to get to know us when we first booked him as our photographer. He drove about 6 hours each way to take our engagement photos in the town where we both live, and they turned out awesome! Although I think he mainly works alone, the day of the wedding he did bring another photographer with him to capture more shots at the same time. He was good at telling everyone different poses to do so we would have a wide variety of shots, and although we had come prepared with a few places we wanted to take group photos after the ceremony he pointed out a few others that had good lighting and whatnot. We haven't gotten our photos back yet (we got married about a month ago) but he did show us a few pictures the day of and they looked awesome. I think he is an amazing photographer and would highly recommend him to anyone!

I'm so happy I picked Mike as my wedding photographer. He is very good at making you feel comfortable (which is hard cause I'm awkward in front of the camera). He did our engagement session too which was nice so the wedding wasn't the first time we worked with him. He had a second shooter which was great to get different angles. He's a little pricey, but trust me...totally worth it. He had the proofs ready exactly 1 month later and sent the flash drive in the mail shortly after. Overall we had a great experience working with Mike and I would highly recommend him.

Mike has done our maternity, newborn, baby's baptism, engagement and weddings photos. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met and will work with you to ensure you get the photos you've dreamed of. My family and friends are constantly impressed with his photography and each time we can't wait to see what he's captured. He's willing to travel to NJ/NY and works hard to work with your schedule. He has a quick turnaround with returning your photos, which I've always had issues with other photographers. I can't wait to continue to work with Mike through our family's milestones!

Great to work with, professional, creative and beautiful pictures

Mike was my photographer for my June 15th wedding. At this point I've only received my engagement pics and the pics that were posted on his blog but I already know I will be happy with the rest of his work. Not only are his photographs amazing (Ive received many compliments) he brings a fun attitude / personality to the wedding! I would definitely recommend him and can't wait to see the pictures!

Mike was the photographer for our wedding on May 18th. He was amazing the entire day, even at the start with all of the chaos happening at my house with 6 girls trying to get dressed and ready! His co-photgrapher (who was really funny!) was with my husband as we was getting ready and I can not wait to see the photos. At our reception and ceremony, Mike had such creative ideas and we all worked really well together. We felt totally at ease and comfortable while getting our pictures taken. We were able to see a sneak peak of one of the pictures he shot, and it looks incredible. AND it was actually drizzling while we were taking pictures, but you can't even tell! I would highly recommend Mike, you won't be disappointed with his professionalism and quality of photos on your special day! :)

Mike was wonderful to work with for our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. He totally put us at ease while taking amazing photographs. He and his wife were a pleasure to work with on our wedding day and kept it light and fun!! Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Mike. He made the entire photography experience easy. He was professional, polite, and on time. He was energetic and enthusiastic and gave excellent direction to get excellent photographs. I would strongly recommend him to others.

Mike and his wife Trish were an absolute joy to have photographing our wedding. I knew when some of our friends had used them for after wedding shots that we needed to hire them for our special day. Mike is the kind of photographer who catches every special moment. He has an amazingly creative eye and every shot he takes is special. AMAZING!!!! A+++++++++++ Mike was absolutely one of our favorite choices of vendors for the wedding!! From our first meeting with him we knew he was going to be our photographer. His pictures are AMAZING and his personality makes him fun and easy to be around. Throughout the wedding day, he captured a million pictures and was as excited about the day as we were!! Throughout the wedding planning process, he was extremely responsive to any questions we had and when asked for suggestions of photo locations provided excellent advice and suggestions. His second shooter Ole, was also AMAZING!!!!! They captured the day perfectly and I would highly recommend Mike to anyone who would like beautiful and amazing pictures to capture their day

Hiring Mike was one of the best wedding related decisions we could have made. Not only was he easy to get along with, honest and just an overall good person - the quality of his work is AMAZING. He will do whatever he needs to to capture the perfect angle or get the right amount of light in a photo... crawling on the floor, jumping onto a table, whatever he needs to do. Yet at the same time, he does very well at going unnoticed throughout the wedding, he was not a distraction at all to either myself or the guests. My photos came out better than I could have ever imagined. Thank you, Mike!
