We had a wonderful time with Mike. From the get-go, he was extremely communicative. We set up a video chat to talk about our photography vision for the wedding and I just liked his...
personality and demeanor so much. During the day of, he and his assistant Susan were so on top of things. They did a great job of capturing hundreds of shots from all different angles without it feeling like they were getting in the way or impeding guests' experiences. Mike got us a sneak peak of pictures within a couple of days and sent us the full album within five weeks. We had such a great time working with him; I can't recommend him enough!
Mike is the best! I truly can’t say enough great things about him. I knew going into wedding planning that photos were incredibly important to me and I did so much research on the ...
front end before hiring someone. Mike was recommended by my wedding planner, and I’m so glad I took the recommendation! Not only are the photos stunning, but he's so cool and brought so much life to our wedding.
For me, choosing a photographer wasn’t just about the final photos, it was about what I wanted the day to feel like. I’ve been to weddings where the entire day feels like a photoshoot, and we wanted the exact opposite. Mike delivered perfectly. He integrated seamlessly into the day, letting us just do our thing while capturing everything naturally. It worked out beautifully.
I also have to give him props for handling our rowdy group! One of the only portraits I wanted included 30+ of our closest friends, and he put in the work to make it happen. We had lots of boisterous personalities, and he was such a trooper. He was fun, professional and genuinely easy to be around.
If you want your wedding day to feel like your wedding day and not a photoshoot, Mike is your guy. His work speaks for itself, but I was also blown away by the energy he brought.
Mike is truly one of the best photographers! My husband and I could not recommend him enough to anyone planning their big day! He is always able to capture genuine and candid momen...
ts in any environment. We enjoyed working with him for my Bridals, our Rehearsal Dinner, and our Wedding! Through all these events, Mike was so accommodating and was always quick to respond to any questions we had! He truly could adapt to any setting and knew what angles to try, what lighting to shoot in, and how to make us laugh and feel at ease! My bridal party, family, and I all thought it was so easy to live in the moment the morning we were getting ready and we truly had the best and easiest times getting ready for the wedding. I had almost everyone come up to me to tell me how this was the calmest and absolutely stress-free wedding they had ever been part of and Mike was a huge help in making that so! Even at the wedding, we were able to truly live in the moment and felt our pictures were taken so quickly but they came out better than perfect with all the emotions of the day. Mike truly worked some magic, my husband and I find it hard to pick our favorites because each picture is a work of art! Mike is truly THE BEST!!!!
The most important thing to me on my wedding day was capturing the perfect photos, so I knew I needed to find a photographer who could meet my expectations and bring my ideas to li...
fe. Mike not only met but exceeded all my expectations with his incredible eye for candid moments.
You know you've found a great photographer when the wedding party has nothing but amazing things to say. I could not recommend him more!!!
Mike delivered the most beautiful images I could have imagined and was so much fun to work with! everyone loved hanging out with him and the pictures were phenomenal.
One of the first things I said to Mike was that our vision for our wedding day was not to feel like a photo session - we wanted to have fun with our friends and family and celebrat...
e our love. Mike was a JOY to have as part of our wedding day. He made it exactly what we wanted, and the incredible photos we got reflected that. He captured our personalities so well, and our album is full of the most wonderful memories! A number of family members told us after the ceremony how lovely Mike's team was to have around. Ten stars!
Mike is simply amazing. We knew immediately after our inquiry call that we wanted to work with Mike for our wedding day. He is not only an amazing photographer, but also just a won...
derful human that is so fun to be around. Neither of us love having our photo taken, but he, and his lovely wife who was on hand the day of our engagement photos, helped us loosen up and they turned out beautifully.
Everyone at our wedding had such nice things to say about Mike and our photos are absolutely perfect. Having our day well documented was so important to us, and Mike completely delivered. The photos help bring back so many memories of the day and spark so many emotions every time I look at them.
Thank you for everything Mike!!
Stop whatever you are doing and book Mike Lirette and his team ASAP!!! Mike is an incredible photographer and all around amazing person. My husband and I booked him for our engage...
ment shoot, Second Line parade, and wedding night. We were an out of town couple and Mike worked with us every step of the way. He was approachable, kind, easy going, and incredibly talented. The photos blew us and our guests away! We also were stopped by many guests the night of the wedding and after, to solely tell us how amazing our photographer was. We actually booked our venue through his photos of other weddings! Mike hit all the angles and shots during the Second Line, and was running back and forth to make sure we had every dream shot. I cannot express how much Mike Lirette and his team did for our wedding. Our wedding would not have been the same without his guidance and calming nature. We would recommend Mike Lirette and his team 100x times over to anyone!
Mike was an extraordinary photographer. He was incredibly easy to work with, calm, kind, and funny. From our first phone conversation, I felt that he knew exactly what to do, and I...
had zero concerns the whole time. He was everywhere during reception and captured all the right moments. Every single preview photo he has sent us has been beautiful and PERFECT. I can’t wait to get the whole portfolio.
Additionally, several months before the wedding, we decided to do a combined engagement and family photo shoot. He made me and my fiance feel comfortable during the engagement shoot and put my whole family at ease during the family portion. It made me excited to work with him on our wedding day.
Both Mike and his assistant Madeline were so calm and supportive the entire day. I also received numerous compliments from guests at the wedding as well as other vendors about how great both of them were. I cannot recommend Mike Lirette Photography enough.
Love, love, love Mike and Casey!
Both of them are delightful people. They were patient, kind, and thoughtful. They were great with the kids, found a bunch of great photo ops we d...
idn't plan, and helped keep us on schedule while still having fun. I can still hear Mike's one TWO three. They were great.
Somehow the photos were even better. I seriously use one as a
Zoom background and I hate taking pictures. There must be 30+
pictures that look like they were ripped right out of a romantic comedy from the early 2000's. I have no idea how they did it! I mean, I'm in them! I hate taking photos! But I love having these photos. Thanks Mike!
Mike and Casey are the absolute dream team!! We haven’t even gotten all of our pictures back yet, but what we’ve seen so far of our big day is absolutely breathtaking. He was able ...
to direct us, make us laugh, and keep us comfortable the entire day. If the Knot would allow us to give him 1000 stars, we would!

or us! He captures the beauty from small details to the whole picture. I can not stress enough how he took the time to make sure each of our must haves were taken, to every candid we can’t wait to see! We highly recommend Mike Lirette Photography to create your memorable engagement pictures to beautiful day of shots! Thank you again Mike! Love, Ethan and Kayla Nash
Look no further for a photographer. Mike is simply the best. He was the photographer for our wedding and we even got a mini-2 min video!

rtable doing something that is not natural (being photographed) with his calm and funny personality. Secondly, he scoped out the best places around our venue to get pictures we would never have dreamed to get that we adore. Thirdly, we had a rowdy wedding and he/Jay were everywhere capturing the whole thing.
Every single person in our wedding commented how great he is/was. Again, look no further.

d beyond to make our day perfect and to capture every photo request I had (which was a lot!). He made sure the lighting and angles were just right and I am absolutely impressed and in awe of the several sneak peaks I've received so far! He is skilled, talented and personable, which is evident in his stunning photos. I cannot recommend Mike and his team enough.
cannot express enough gratitude and absolute JOY I had working with Mike for my wedding this October! From our initial meeting he made me feel assured that he could be counted on a...
nd that we wouldn’t look awkward or stiff. He knows just how to coach everyone to get a natural looking photo for the portraits, was magically in multiple places in once getting different shots without my knowing for some great candids, and he genuinely made the day more enjoyable with his humor and demeanor. He works quickly- we finished pictures ahead of schedule on the wedding day and he got my images to me faster than was promised. At the end of the day, the beautiful gallery I received speaks for itself. I’m so happy with my pictures and cannot recommend Mike or our second shooter Jay enough!
Bonus- his site is super easy to navigate for invoicing, payment, organized albums, shot list, etc. One of the easiest vendors to work with.

t brings back all the amazing moments of our big day. He even caught my dad smiling in some photos which is a feat in itself! Every time I look at our pictures, I find a new favorite. I would recommend Mike to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer to catch every wedding moment—from the quiet couple moments to the dance floor action.
Mike was easy to work with for our wedding in June, and he’s just a really nice guy to have around when it’s one of the most important days of your life! I start off with this poin...
t because I didn’t realize until afterwards how much time you spend with your photographer on the big day, so this is pretty key. He did a fantastic job with the photos, catching the light just right and making us non-photogenic folks feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. It was a blast to relive the weekend through these amazing pictures!
We absolutely LOVED our time taking photos with Mike. We had such a great time and the photos turned out amazing! He is incredible and I now I'm looking for an excuse for another p...

sappoint! Please do NOT hesitate to choose this photographer. From the super easy online contracting to the forms filled out in advance so that he has a vision of what your expectations are, he executes seamlessly! Thank you, Mike.
AMAZING photographer. He was quick to respond to all emails and questions. I would recommend Mike to any bride who is shy and doesn't like taking those "awkward" photos. My fiance'...
s one request is that we didn't hire a photographer that was always in your face. Mike took TONS of candid and posed shots, but we hardly noticed he was there! He did my sister's wedding too, and the photos were awesome. If you're looking for a great photographer, look no further!
Mike was INCREDIBLE! I am someone who does not like pictures, therefore I was dreading the whole wedding photography thing. Mike went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable exper...
ience for us. He got to know us before hand and picked up our personalities right away- which made things run so smoothly (and fun), especially for those awkward pictures. He wanted everything to be perfect (and it was!!) and made sure we were happy as well. Wedding day- Mike did an amazing job capturing all those group and family pictures, as well as capturing ALL the moments at the reception and on the dance floor. Literally we loved every single picture he took! Overall, we couldn't have picked a better photographer; and in our eyes he is one of the best ones out there. I would 100% recommend him to anyone.
Mike did an amazing job photographing our wedding, I can't recommend him highly enough! I mentioned to Mike when we were planning that I didn't want to take a ton of formal posed ...
photos and that I didn't like attending weddings where the photographer was always in everyone's face, making people feel like they were being followed around by the paparazzi. Mike did such an amazing job "blending in" that the day after my wedding my sister commented that she didn't think our photographer took that many photos. Boy, was she wrong because because a week later when we got our photos back (so quickly!) it was clear that Mike had blended into the background and had perfectly captured every detail of our wedding. I can't recommend him highly enough!
Mike is extremely talented. His photos are not only beautiful, but you also get them really quickly. He is a wonderful person, and very easy to work with. I cannot recommend him h...

to detail. Weddings are a whirlwind of emotion and events, and when it's all over it can seem like a blur, but Mike captured so many memories and moments, I feel like I find something new to love and cherish about my wedding every time I look at my album. Mike was also a fantastic sport about trying new things or unconventional settings; his adventurous spirit and artistic eye gave us tangible memories which my husband and I still talk about. I would absolutely recommend Mike to my friends. Thanks Mike!!

m. The pictures he took of us were just unbelievable. I didn't know I could look so good! I would definitely recommend him to anyone in South Louisiana. Mike did a great job and I will be calling him back when we start having children. Thanks for everything, Mike!
