Mike was awesome to work with. His pricing is more than fair and he helped us plan everything for the DJ part of the ceremony. I can't recommend him enough and he's a very nice guy. I will be hiring him for future events and will be recommending him to all our friends out in the Texas area.

Just call him and within 5 min, you will be convinced he has all the talent and experience to make your event truly fun and special. He gets to know you, and what you want! Mike has a gift in sensing the crowd, knows how to draw them in, when to talk/announce, when to be in the background, how to help it flow just right, and energy!! Out of all the people we sat down with no one had asked us what mood we wanted or even offered to come out to look at where we wanted to get married to get an idea of how to help us figure out music. We didn’t know where to begin but Mike sure did help us with every step of the way.

I'm so glad we went with Mike for our wedding! The whole process leading up to the big day was seamless having him. He is very experienced and it shows! I barely had to lift a finger. I was so nervous about music at the wedding because our crowd isn't huge dancers but everyone had so much fun and had such great things to say about Mike. We played the shoe game and I had forgotten about questions to ask and he already had a plan and questions ready to go plus some extra we asked to fill in which was such a big hit and so much fun! Couldn't recommend Mike enough!

We're a pair of older brides, and our wedding was a multi-cultural one. Mike was an expert planner, and walked us through what he would need and when he would need it. He has a really great ceremony and reception planning packet (it would be flawless if it were digitized & shareable for himself and the couple). He was able to craft a reception that connected two different cultures, and we were so moved at how well he was able to incorporate meaningful touches (my sister's wedding processional song as a slow dance, Latin pop from the 1980s for family members, and a private final dance just for us while guests got ready for our final exit.) Mike indulged my many, many questions and ultimately created a reception that had everybody celebrating. He even helped us place our DIY photo booth and made that a huge interactive hit. Our wedding photographer even used it! We highly recommend him!

I started the journey of looking for a DJ thinking they are all the same right? Boy was I wrong! Mike was absolutely amazing from start to finish! He did a pre call with me to find out exactly what we wanted as far as traditions and what music was a must have. Mike was AMAZING for our wedding. We got non-stop compliments the whole night about the music selection. Mike is a true professional and a delight to work with when planning an event. I also love that he has his own photobooth. the employee that came with him was great as well. All in all, I don't think you'll find a better DJ in the area than Mike. He is a must have at weddings.

I would gladly say that Mike is the reason my wedding went so smoothly. All the preplanning he did with us made me feel at ease as the day got closer, knowing exactly what was to happen. During the reception, he did everything we discussed and more! Not only was he playing the best music, but he kept checking in with the groom and I to inform us of what is next or if we wanted any changes throughout the night. He also kept all those who were involved in reception activities, like parents and bridal party, updated throughout the night, without notice from guests, to help keep a calm, stress-free environment. I would recommend him to everyone and anyone! He truly tailors it all to what you envision and helps lay it all out before hand. Definitely need him as your master of ceremonies!! His photo booth is also a blast, which we got all the digital copies from afterwards, and he definitely helps lighting up the room with his lighting package.

Mike worked out 10/03/2020 wedding and he’s truly a gem. We had a smaller turnout than expected because of covid but he kept us happy and the wedding flowing very smoothly. Mike saved the day! I thought I could handle everything on my own but as our wedding day approached I realized that there was no way I could cue my own entrance music! Haha With just a little over a week notice I was able to book Mike for our wedding! He was so kind and reassuring. His forms are so helpful and easy to fill out. I am confident that Mike is the best DJ/MC you can find. Our wedding was socially distanced due to the pandemic and, not only that, but a pipe burst upstairs in our venue so we had to move everything downstairs, including all the sound equipment. In a day that was already super crazy and unpredictable, Mike did not miss a beat. He got everything moved and set up downstairs in record time and then moved it AGAIN once the upper floor had been mopped. Our guests never knew that something had gone wrong, and Mike kept the whole afternoon/night running smoothly. I am so glad we chose to hire him— the flat rate is so worth it when you take into account how unpredictable your special day might be! His slogan “Experienced, Professional, Fun” is super accurate and exactly what you should look for in a DJ/MC! Everyone at our wedding and reception had a great time listening to toasts and dancing the night away, and I recommend Mike’s services to anyone who wants an organized, smooth, and fun wedding day.

What an amazing experience witnessing Mike Mahnich work. He was able to promote the venue prior to the ceremony, AND he kept the ceremony and reception on time. He was prepared. Mike was awesome! we saw him a friends wedding and booked him the next week for our wedding! then two of our friends booked him as well!! This guy is super fun and super professional. I’ve seen him at work numerous times in the past years and it’s always a fantastic experience. DJ/MC services are something you want done well. This guy can spin em and he is quite organized, understanding and accommodating. When Mikes on the job you’ll never need to worry about your big day! I would snd do refer him to people all the time.

Mike was GREAT! He was always available to answer questions or set up extra phone calls. We did not have a day of coordinator so Mike was extremely helpful in running our reception. We would recommend Mike to anyone looking for a fun, reliable, and helpful MC and would definitely hire him again!

I know first-hand how intimidating it is finding all the right vendors for your wedding. I mean the day has to be PERFECT, right? Well I can honestly say you can stop your search for a wedding DJ and hire Mike! He is an all-in-one DJ and Master of Ceremonies, meaning he will help with all the announcements and keep your reception on schedule without you even having to think about it! He is super friendly and genuinely cares about the bride and groom having the perfect night. He even helped us set up our slide show and set up some awesome up-lighting for the finishing touch on our room. He kept us on the dance floor all night and played a little bit for all our age groups to make sure every guest was having a good time! He was very easy to work with and met with us in person, on the phone, through text, or whatever worked best for this stressed out bride! Haha! And the icing on the cake was his pricing! His services are very reasonably priced for the service he delivers. I could go on and on, but just hire DJ Mike to find out for yourself! You won't be disappointed! :)

We met Mike at another friend's wedding in Aug. 2018. We were impressed by his attention to detail and extensive planning guide. Our wedding was Oct. 2019. We booked him and are so glad we did! For us, we felt like we had a bit of a wedding planner rolled into Mike. He has worked so many weddings that he was able to objectively provide some insights on the pros and cons of certain choices for our wedding. Mike is so personable and was on point in so many ways. His planner really helped us plan ahead and thoroughly consider the flow of our wedding from start to finish. I had several guests compliment us on our DJ following the wedding. Would highly recommend!

His DJ skill is top notch but he really pulls the events entertainment together. Even a simple banquet becomes exciting and feels extravagant!

Mike was challenged with entertaining a mixed group of folks from Colombia and the US; he did not disappoint. With some coordination, Mike was ready with a solid playlist and entertained the group for the entire evening. If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding, look no further! We got married in May, and Mike was such a huge part of making the wedding a success. He first stuck out to me during our vendor search early in our planning, because he was so personable and professional. Just in speaking with him over the phone I could tell that he was going to do an awesome job. His communication between "signing" with him and the actual wedding night was always super quick, friendly, and professional. We then met with him for our main planning meeting about a month or two out from our date. He was super flexible with his time, and even went out of his way to meet with us on a week night after we got off work in downtown Dallas. Needless to say, we were extremely stressed out about the wedding, but Mike made us feel so much more confident and comfortable about the whole thing. He truly helped pull our "day of" plan together. He offered well-thought-out opinions and tips, that I honestly think would rival many actual wedding planners. He perfectly balanced our ideas and vision with the practicality of his experience. Mike ran the show on our wedding day... he was a true "master of ceremonies", and not just a guy that played some music. He was seriously perfect! He was fun, flexible, professional... It's really hard to write this review because I can't say enough nice things about Mike. He was very professional and went above and beyond for us. Any time we had a question he was always very responsive. The evening went smoothly because he sat down with us for a long time and planned out all the details. He also adapts to unexpected conditions and last-minute tweaks. Ideally a couple should only ever have to plan one wedding in their entire life which means neither of them will be professionals at it. Mike can assist with this by sharing his experience and expertise. He is seriously a relief amongst the stress that goes into all the planning. On top of all that his music choices were fantastic and the lighting was just amazing. We loved the monogram and it looked awesome above the arch we built for the night. We could not be happier. What a lovely night and a lot of that is thanks to Mike!

We attended our friends' wedding and took notice that Mike did a great job of keeping it on track and really directing it naturally. Mike was absolutely amazing. We had to come up with a way to have a fun Star Wars/Harry Potter Wedding for us and classy wedding for our family. He helped us navigate the whole experience. He was so talented in music selection and making sure they night flowed perfectly.

Mike Mahnich rules! We hired Mike for our wedding in 2014, and he surpassed all of our expectations. From the beginning, he was prepared, punctual and very knowledgeable about his craft. He respected what we wanted, and helped us customize our entire experience based on that. And when we needed help, or didn't know what to expect, Mike's experience helped guide our decisions. His planning of the event put us at ease too. Before the big day, we did a walkthrough of the venue with Mike to help him create his plans for the sound and lighting, which ultimately kept the ceremony moving, so everything felt natural. The thing about great design is that it goes unnoticed. Mike gets it. Hiring him reduced stress, and let us concentrate on being happy on our wedding day. Awesome experience all around. And cherry on top, I reached out to Mike almost 5 years later to help me recreate our wedding playlist, and he sent the files over within a day. Amazing!

Mike was absolutely AMAZING! I was in charge of planning my parents 30th Wedding Anniversary. It was quite a challenge for one person and finding the right people to partner with is a daunting task. WE LOVE MIKE! He worked with me to cut and edit music to help me make my ceremony exacly what I had always pictured! There was no fading in and fading out starting from the top of the song. He made sure he got my favorite parts of each song synced up with when I wanted it to play. It truly made a difference in the flow and mood of the ceremony. Then, the reception was a PARTY! He really read the floor and changed/kept songs based off of how much fun people were having. He was easy to work with, quick to respond, and was more than willing to drive my way for a meeting. He is kind and fun. A great combo to have around you during a stressful and special time!

THE BEST EVER!!! I was recommended to Mike by word of mouth and was not disappointed. Maybe he does this for all of his clients (probably) but he makes you feel like he goes above and beyond just for you! We thought Mike was awesome! He helped make our ceremony and reception run smoothly, and even made the process smooth leading up to the weekend. He met with us on multiple accounts and gave excellent advice, he has a lot of great experience with weddings. Our lighting and monogram also looked great! While very knowledgeable and polite, we struggled a little bit with communication. This very well could've been partially our fault, and it was also my understanding that he was kind of in the middle of moving in the last few weeks of our wedding planning. In the end, he was kind and did a good job.
