My husband is not a fan of getting his picture taken and Mike made him feel so at ease throughout the whole process. He got him to genuinely smile and laugh during both the engagement photos and during the wedding photos. Mike is so organized and I felt completely confident in his ability to capture the best day of our lives. He was also so fast with getting our wedding album back to us. I love how excited Mike gets while taking our photos. He really wants to capture interesting and timeless photos that highlight us as a couple. We are so thankful we picked Mike for our wedding and wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!

his helpful prompts combined with a good mix of seriousness and jokes. That is coming from two people who are not very comfortable posing for pictures in normal settings. Most importantly, the pictures themselves are incredible. You can tell Mike is a professional who is passionate about his craft. The use of lightning, colors, and the environment amaze us every time we look back at the pictures. We had an incredible engagement shoot (complimentary!) during the fall in North Conway where Mike perfectly incorporated the foliage into the shots. On the wedding day itself, Mike helped us plan a first-look and bridal party pictures ahead of the ceremony so we were able to enjoy the cocktail hour with our guests. Mike also brought a secondary photographer, Kris, who was equally as friendly and talented. This combo of two photographers allowed us to get shots from multiple angles and even in multiple locations (ie. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen getting ready). We highly recommend Mike as a wedding photographer.

After reaching out to Mike, we set up a phone call and he walked us through what our wedding day would look like with him. This part was especially helpful because it was obvious that he had a systematic approach after years of experience. Closer to the wedding day, we met in person to go over details and the itinerary for the day. We have a very big family - we had over 30 family photo combinations to take with the largest being 50+ people. We were surprised by his lack of concern for the amount of photos we wanted. The day of, these photos went faster than we anticipated and we finished ahead of schedule! Mike was great getting people organized and kept up with all the moving parts. Some of the guests commented on how discrete he was! He floated around during the ceremony and reception to capture the day but was not intrusive or clunky. We received the final portfolio exactly 3 weeks after our wedding day which included tons of candid photos of us, the guests and the space. The quality of the entire collection is excellent! We loved working with Mike and recommend him to everyone!

We had lots of fun stopping traffic all across Portsmouth NH to take our engagement photos, and Mike was very good about directing us to ensure that we had many photos with a variety of poses. With our wedding, Mike was a photographer, coordinator, and constant source of entertainment. He helped the groom pin his boutonnière, directed the bride to the first look, entertained the children, and wrangled a large wedding party to knock out all of our day-of photos. ! He recently did our engagement shoot. The best part about Mike as a photographer is that he is going to photograph authentic pictures. I have seen pictures that seem too staged and the poses aren't natural. With Mike, he just wants you to be yourself and allows you to be in front of him because he is so easy to be around. It was touching to see how excited he got while taking our engagement photos. He had never been to Crane Beach and really enjoyed taking photos there. I am so excited for him to take photos at our wedding! He makes you and your partner feel special and beautiful, so it is natural for your photos to come out great.

For our engagement photos, he met us up in the White Mountains and hauled his equipment through the woods to take our photos at a waterfall in the forest. This first experience of working with Mike was wonderful and we knew we’d be in great hands for our wedding day. Our photos came out amazing, and we were able to get beautiful fall foliage shots that would contrast nicely with our summer wedding photos. Leading up to our wedding, Mike was in constant communication, which was very reassuring. He developed a day-of schedule for photos, and we had a phone call the week before to go over details and our “must-have” photos for the wedding. On the day-of, Mike and his second photographer, Ed Moran, worked seamlessly together to be present with myself and my bridesmaids, as well as with my husband and his groomsmen. Mike and Ed were easy to work with, kind, kept us all laughing, and adapted on the fly to changes. Mike also worked so well with all of our other vendors, many of whom he had worked with in the past. We had our full gallery back within three weeks, which was amazing and so much faster than we could have hoped for! We are so happy with the photos we have that we can look back on as we remember our most magical day. Please book Mike for your wedding photography!!

The excitement from Mike was so amazing, he had not shot there before so you could see the inspiration pouring out of him! For the wedding Mike and Miranda got awesome shots of the boys getting ready! And we are so in love with how all of our wedding photos came out! He was always on time (by that I mean he always there about 15 minutes ahead of time! Which was greatly appreciated!) Mike and Miranda were both so professional! We loved that he was always game for whatever ideas we came up with for pics and he always had an idea for us if we couldn’t think of one! Our wedding party also loved him! They thought that he was an amazing photographer but also has an such a great sense of humor. He knew how to take the stress out of the picture process, everything was so easy and together it made it such a smooth process for my husband and I. If we need a photographer for anything else we don’t have to look because we know who we will be calling! I know i said amazing a lot in this but there is really no other way to describe the experience that he created and just him as a person!
