We are so grateful to Mike Staff for making our day so special! We used multiple services, including the DJ, photographer, and videographer. Starting with booking through Mike Staff it was super easy. They scheduled a call with us where they answered all of our questions and we’re super easy to get in touch with if we had any kind of follow up. For both the photographer and the DJ we were able to look through a bunch of different individuals and pick the style of DJ and photographer that seemed best fitting for us. They picked the videographer for us, which was fine with us as we were not super particular. I feel like for all of the services we got and the quality of services we got, the price was very reasonable. Especially compared to some of the other things we had seen online. Starting with the DJ we had DJ Tim. He was amazing!!! Truly full on DJ vibes and made the night so much fun. Had people dancing literally all night long. We shared with him a couple songs that we wanted to have played, but otherwise we told him we trusted him and we were going to let him do his thing and we could not have been happier. If you want to dance all night long, DJ Tim is your guy! For our photographer, we had Jenny. Jenny also did our engagement photos so it was really nice getting to have her for both so we got to build a relationship with her. Jenny is amazing and so kind and makes you feel so comfortable. My husband and I are a little awkward sometimes with the camera, but she made things easy and fun, and gave us all kinds of suggestions for things that we could do if we felt like we weren’t sure. Her photos are beautiful and I feel like she does a great job of capturing some traditional style photos, but also beautiful candids that really capture all of the emotions and memories that are held within that photo. She also really helped us work through our timeline of events during the day, which is very appreciated as that is such an important part. We love Jenny!!! For our videographer, we had Daniel and we also love Daniel! He told us to basically pretend like he wasn’t there and what I loved about him was he made himself present without feeling overwhelming. We were nervous if it was going to feel like we had a video following us all night long, but it did not feel like that at all. He did a great job of going with the flow and blending in with the events of the day and made everything just easy and fun without us feeling like we were being watched all night. He was definitely working hard to get all of the angles and shots that we wanted and him and Jenny worked together amazingly. We couldn’t have asked for a better team!

From the very first consultation, they listened to our vision and made us feel confident that we were in great hands. On the wedding day, our photographer was not only professional and skilled but also so much fun to work with! We worked with Mary as our photographer and James as our DJ and they were both so great! Mary was very sweet and patient while delivering the shots we were looking for and really helping us day of. She was very easy to work with and we are so excited after seeing the sneak peak of the pictures! James was a great guy all around. Very laid back but really opened up the dance floor for everyone the whole time. We received nothing but great reviews from our guests about James and we would highly recommend his services for your next event! We used multiple services from Mike Staff. Our DJ Joe D was awesome! He kept the night moving smoothly, played some great music, and was super friendly! Ashley was fantastic! She kept us on schedule without feeling like we were rushed, made us laugh, and took the most beautiful photos. She felt more like a friend than a stranger by the end of the night. We hired MSP for our photographer, videographer and DJ, and they did not disappoint! They were professional, experienced and all around wonderful people to have helping us capture this day! Chris was our lead photographer and he captured some of the most beautiful pictures we've ever been in. I can't wait to frame them for our house! Randy was our DJ and he did such a great job honoring our requests for music, understanding our taste in music and he had that dance floor packed all night! The team approach was one of our best decisions in wedding planning because everyone kept us on schedule and they worked wonderfully together with minimal coordination from us. We had a photographer change the day before the wedding, which was stressful, to say the least! But Dennis was definitely a blessing in disguise! Upon our phone interview, he eased our minds, and from the first second, we got to the venue. Dennis was there to capture every moment and assist with everything! Dennis not only helped my bridesmaids button my dress, helped the groomsmen assemble another boutinier because we were one short and helped us along the way through the entire wedding. He had great energy, and we had plenty of time to complete all the pictures we requested and then some! Our wedding day was this past Saturday and we understandably don't have the pictures yet, but we're comfortable leaving this review because we know based on Mary's previous work they're going to be awesome photos that we will treasure forever. Mary's photography is top notch and she was also the perfect person for us to work with in terms of who she is. Mary is kind, educated us on what to do, organized, and just an all-around great person! She's someone who never gets fazed by anything and is always so calm, which really helped us on our big day! Mu husband and I used Mike Staff Productions for our Photography and DJ. To start out, you know when planning a wedding, communication is essential. Mike Staff had it right from the get go. Emails about reminders, FAQ, any help needed, etc. Our photographer was Mary. I cannot say enough about her. When we did our video call to go over expectations/time line, I knew we picked the right person. She was laid vack and made you feel at ease the day of. We had children (including my own) stand up in the wedding and she did amazing with them. She was so patient and knew what to do. All of our guests and family had complimented on her and how great she was. I forgot to bring my picture list to hand to her. Without skipping a beat, she took the initiative and directed everything. Efficiency at its finest. The photos were incredibly beautiful! Our DJ Sean was so much fun and had the party going at the end of the night.

We had our wedding September 9th 2023 and hired DJ Greg as our DJ. He was great! Communicated with us prior to the wedding and during the wedding also. His mix of music was perfect for setting the vibe out on the dance floor. We danced until the very last song! I would highly recommend Mike Staff for your DJ needs!

We ended up hiring Mike Staff for our DJ and Photographer. The DJ was amazing. He was responsive when we had last minute changes, and did a great job with the ceremony and reception music. I am a bit disappointed and dissatisfied with the photography services. It started with me (the bride) having to direct who is in the photos and gather the family members up and direct where they need to stand along with my other family members directing people where to stand for the pictures on the wedding day. I feel this should have been the photographers job to own the photos and direction as we had a meeting prior to the wedding to go over our vision and there was a lot going on the day of the wedding. Well, we were supposed to have a meeting prior to the wedding and the photographer ended up forgetting about the meeting and we had to reschedule and call Mike Staff to figure out why our photographer forgot about the meeting and then the meeting finally got rescheduled. Then to top it off, at the wedding the photographer handed my husband a bill for overtime services. This is extremely unprofessional to hand the bride/groom a bill on their wedding day. I had communication with the company a month prior to the wedding day to add the overtime hours onto our bill and it was our understanding when we got written confirmation from the company that the overtime hours were added that they were actually added so we were a tad confused why we were handed a bill on our wedding day. Much to my surprise, when I made my request a month prior to the wedding day and received the written confirmation, the invoice was never saved and not updated. Our profile was updated with overtime services so we assumed the services were added onto the invoice when we paid the final invoice. This is extremely unprofessional and a huge clerical error that we had to pay for and have a nice surprise on our wedding day that killed the mood. I would look at all options before hiring Mike Staff for photography. I truly feel our photography vision was missed and not listened to and there were a lot of missed photo opportunities we didn’t get. Truly disappointing experience from the clerical/ scheduling/ billing side all the way to the photographer on the wedding day. Would not recommend.

Jenny was a great photographer. I'm uncomfortable getting my picture taken but felt totally confident working with her. She caught natural moments and staged poses you'd never know were staged. We looked like us only better. Our wedding was multicultural and she navigated the lighting for diverse skin tones perfectly. She was organized, efficient, and subtle as she moved around the event. We used Mike staff for our DJ and Videographer. We had Josh as our DJ and he did an amazing job. He was very professional and just an overall great guy. He was great with communication and helping us leading up to our special day and the day of our wedding. Everyone had a blast and we had the dance floor full all night which was amazing! 10.15.22 graduated bride here!! I cannot say enough great things about the Mike Staff team we hired, in particular our photographer Mary and our videographer Steve! They both did such an amazing job from start to finish, with helping everyone feel comfortable and they were direct without being bossy when it came to the best poses and such( as my husband and I are totally new at getting photographed). Mary was so beyond sweet and I think she picked up on the fact that I was more of a shy bride and worked with it! And Steve was such a joy, and he recorded without being overbearing over in your personal space. All in all I can’t rave about them enough, we got our wedding photos back and I am just in complete awe, and I am so elated that we chose Mike staff to capture such gorgeous photos of our big day! WOW I don't even know where to begin. We bundled photography, video, and DJ with Mike Staff and it was perfection. Tony was our DJ and I cannot say enough good things about him. We had a big Greek wedding and with Tony being Macedonian he knew all the songs to play and knew how to rev up the room with such good energy. He did the perfect mix of traditional Greek music and American music. Our dance floor was NEVER empty and always crowded. Tyler did our video and it was so beautiful. He somehow was always in multiple places at once and got the most beautiful videos especially of our grandparents and nieces and nephews. We had two photographers Mary and John and they were fantastic. John took my favorite picture of my nephew and I and I will treasure it forever. Mary had many good ideas that I would never thing to try and they turned out beautifully. Yes, Mike Staff is expensive compared to other options in Metro Detroit but it's worth every penny to hire Mike Staff. The best choice we made with our wedding was to hire Mike Staff. You will not regret having Mike Staff do your event!

We hired Mike Staff productions for photography, videography, and DJ services and they did not disappoint in any category! We had Jenny as our main photographer and she was amazing! We had some rain on our wedding day during our first look and family photos, and she helped keep me calm and found beautiful locations to take the first look and family photos while the rain passed. She captured such beautiful photos to help us remember our amazing day! Steve was our videographer and he also did a wonderful job. He was there every step of the way with Jenny, which makes it so fun to look back at the photos and the video to remember all the special moments! Last but not least, we had Matt as our DJ – he had everyone out on the dance floor making some of the best memories of the night! He also beautifully played the piano for us during the cocktail hour and a portion of the dinner hour (remember to feed your vendors too!).

We hired Mike Staff Productions for both our DJ and Photographer and are super happy with our decision! During the planning process, we got to personally pick our favorite out of three different DJs and Photographers to make sure they would be a perfect fit for our wedding. Ed, our photographer, was super friendly, professional, patient, and very helpful with the whole planning process. He made sure we got all of the pictures we wanted and had suggestions since we didn't know exactly what different poses we wanted. He even came to the rescue when the bride needed safety pins for her dress! Randy, our DJ, played the perfect mixture of music for our reception and had the dance floor going all night! We had specific instructions for both our ceremony and venue, which he accommodated without a problem. We are super happy with our decision to use Mike Staff Productions for our wedding because it made planning so much less stressful and we are elated on how our wedding went thanks to them!

We hired Mike Staff Productions for both photography and DJ services. Both services were absolutely amazing! When looking for a photographer and DJ on google, Mike Staff was the first one to pop up in our area. We had a great experience with them from the initial contact (prior to booking) to the very end. We decided to have two photographers and add on an additional hour for both since our ceremony was so early -- I highly recommend having two photographers and adding an additional hour if needed! Our main photographer was Pam and the second was Joel-- they were both amazing! Pam was there for us every step of the way pre-wedding and wedding day. She was very easy to communicate with, very talented and it was very apparent that she absolutely loves her job which is so important in this line of work! :) The turn around for receiving a sneak peak and then all of the photos was great. Our DJ was amazing as well! We had DJ Dave and he was very easy to communicate with, listened to our requests + our guests requests, kept the timeline going smoothly and was overall very talented at his job! The dance floor remained packed until the end! We could not be happier with all of our photos and both the DJ and photography service we received. We would recommend Mike Staff to everyone!

Where do I even start?! Mike Staff Productions was amazing! They made it so easy to get all our most important services. We chose Holly for our photographer, and we were blown away! Zach and I are both more introverted, but she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She kept us ahead of schedule all day long, which was my biggest concern. Our experience with Mike Staff was absolutely perfect. Our wedding was July 1, 2022 at The Inn at St. John's in Plymouth, MI and we had the best experience. Our Photographer was Jenny, she led the whole day and we had a wedding full of hockey players. Jenny was amazing and told us exactly what to do and really helped us. The photos of our wedding day were spectacular. We wanted simple, elegant, and casual photos. Nothing was forced and Jenny made the whole wedding party laugh. She has a great personality! Our DJ was Kyle, he was absolutely amazing! As a coach in the hockey world as well, my husband and I decided to go with Kyle as our DJ and it was the best decision we made. Kyle had the best music for our wedding, all of the hits that hit every age group at our wedding and we were on the dance floor the whole wedding. We hired Amy C. as a photographer through Mike Staff! Amy was so lovely to work with. She showed up early and was great at keeping us on track throughout getting ready, getting to the venue, pictures before the ceremony, during, and managing 2 very large families we needed photos of! It rained buckets on the day of our wedding right when we arrived to the venue. We obviously couldn’t get pictures outside, but Amy was able to improvise and get amazing pictures of our first look, our bridal parties, etc. inside the venue. Once the weather cleared up later in the evening, we were able to step outside for a few sunset photos, and Amy really made sure to get the lighting and all the little touches perfect. We could tell she has a lot of creativity and knows how to get the best shot. I can’t be happier that we hired her!

I cannot say enough great things about Mike Staff Productions! We had decided to hire a videographer last minute for our wedding and we are so glad that we did. Jason, our videographer, was extremely to work with and set up a discovery call with us prior to the big day so that we could work out our timeline and even went as far as to keep in touch with me throughout the day so that I knew we were good to go. What was even better was that he worked with and communicated with my photographers so that everyone could get the shots they needed. When we received our final video, we were absolutely blown away! We had the best experience with Mike Staff, from the initial consult, to Covid restrictions, and finally the BIG day! They (everyone from start to finish) were so understanding, helpful, organized, prompt, efficient, affordable, and talented. Each person working for Mike Staff is very good at what they do, and it shows! We were so happy they worked with us and our pandemic postponement! Our reception was more of a dinner (no dancing or mingling allowed), so we had to switch from a DJ, and they worked with us to make sure our monetary balance was used on our day of our ceremony. You can't beat being able to choose your photographer based on a selection of photographers presented to you. It made this decision one of our easiest wedding vendor choices, and we would definitely recommend them!

We had Jenny from Mike Staff as a photographer for our wedding on September 24, 2021. I wanted to take the time to recognize her outstanding work and service as our day of photographer. She came prepared with great ideas for our wedding details, bridesmaids, bridal party, romantic pictures and more. She is clearly a well experienced wedding photographer and her experience shows in her work and in the way she worked with us, she was calm, kind and funny! Unfortunately the day of coordinator at our venue was not prepared to help us out on our wedding day but I felt Jenny stepped in and helped take over that role. She went above and beyond her duties as a photographer and we were blown away by how great she was! We were also very happy with the DJ we hired, he was great and kind. Overall Mike Staff was great to work with and delivered exceptional service!

Mark the photographer was absolutely amazing. He was so kind and organized and VERY easy to work with. He had a wonderful sense of humor and I enjoyed every minute of working with him. High recommend working with Mark, he was an absolute joy to have at our wedding. Phil the DJ was also incredible. He too was very kind and organized and very easy to work with. He listened to everything I had to say and we had a wonderful time! 10/10 would recommend!
