online searching. I remember that I had seen a news clip about a photographer named Mike Steele who was voted the best photographer in the OC. So I went online to youtube, did my research and had my husband call him up to set up an appointment to meet with our future wedding photographer. We met with Mike, he showed us some of his quality work that of course I had already seen as I was doing my research and then my husband and I discussed how we felt. I was not quite yet convinced, but Mike stands behind his work and he promised me that if I did not like the outcome with the Engagement photos then he would refund my money and I could find another photographer. From that point I knew he was going to be our wedding photographer. Price was not an issue because I use to model and I remember what I paid for my shoots and his prices were very reasonable for what you get. During our engagement shoot he took his time and the pictures he took were amazing. We then set up another shoot to take photos with our children. My youngest son was not working with us, but Mike was very calm and eventually my youngest was taking photos with us. He made it very fun and enjoying. For our wedding he really made me look like a princess! What I like most about Mike is that he is always thinking. He does not miss a thing and he knows what's important. One thing for sure that you want in a photographer is for him to have the chance to get to know you so that he's not only a worker on your wedding day, but that he is a friend. I felt that photography was the most important part of my wedding and with that said I needed to feel comfortable with my photographer who was going to be following me around all day. And Mike was exactly that, he has a great personality, works hard and cares about what he does. His expertise is what makes him the best. So if you are looking for someone to truly capture that moment that only lasts for a second, then you have found him because through his photography your WEDDING is destined to last a LIFETIME!!

ho have kids, you know how hard it is to get 2 kids to pose and smile at the same time. Mike created so many different looks, if we were not wearing the same thing, you would have thought they were shot at different times. My husband was so pleased with these photos, that there was no pondering on who we were going to use for our wedding photos. Mike works well under pressure and is always prepared. The night of our wedding party, the venue's electricity was out due to heavy winds. I arrived, obviously having an anxiety attack, and Mike was able to calm me down, and proceed with shooting my wedding photos. Mike had to work in the dark, but with his lighting and special talents, the pictures were outstanding. The lights finally came back on, but not until 45 minutes later. Mike made the night, and everyone commented on how pleasant and professional he was. The end results were beyond our satisfaction. You will not be disappointed.

so when we found Mike we were truly blessed. One of the best times we had leading up to the wedding was the day we took our engagements photos. Mike made us feel relaxed, which allowed us to let go off all the worries and just enjoy the time we spent taking the photos, he really became a friend and we have recomended him to all our friends and family. On our weddding day he was great, not only did he get some truly memorable moments during the ceremony and reception, he also set up some truly spectacular shots that were beyond our expectation. Mike has a true artist's eye and was a blessing to have in our corner on on of the most important days of our life and so we plan to use him again in the future.

only hope to find a wedding photographer to deliver that special something on your big day. We found that in Mike Steele. We live on the East Coast and Mike travelled from California to Greenwich, Connecticut - so distance was no problem for him. Our wedding was very upscale and the Church and Country Club had certain restrictions that Mike completely adhered to - they were very impressed with him. Mike was super fun to work with. He has a great sense of humor, provides quick, clear direction and has a creative eye. I can also appreciate that he is a true professional who has done this many times before. He was always calm and cool in the middle of chaos and I was very confident that I'd have many great shots to choose from! Mike delivered memories over and beyond anything we could have imaged. Thank you! They don't just capture the typical wedding poses. He captures moments, feelings, and memories. When you look at them, you feel like you're inside the moment experiencing it alongside the wedding party. Mike is a good humored and easy-to-work with professional. His timing is impeccable, his angles are astounding, his direction was great and the resulting photos are absolutely fantastic. Nothing but rave reviews from all of our friends and family, upon sharing our photos. And I later saw photos and angles that I didn't even realize he was taking - so many great candid shots - moments that could've easily slipped by, but Mike captured them as if he had planned them far in advance. If you're looking for a wedding photographer - look no further. Overall, I will just say that Mike is a seasoned industry professional...his work speaks for itself, without a doubt. He clearly exceeds at wedding photography, but his talent extends much beyond being a wedding photographer; he is fully equipped to capture anything with you wish. There are a lot of wedding photographers out there, needless to say, but Mike is truly a cut above the standard. Jules M.

irlwind of the wedding was over and a week or so had passed, I found all the details were a little fuzzy, and I realized that in the excitement I might have missed some really precious moments taking care of "wedding business". When Mike gave us our photos I couldn't stop looking at them, I couldn't believe how beautiful he had made everything look, how much fun and excitement he had captured, and how genuine it all looked through his lense. Then I realized why everyone says that picking the photographer is one of the most important decisions you'll make when it comes to your wedding: When you've forgotten the little things that made that day so wonderful, the photos will bring it all rushing back in glorious detail...But only if you've chosen the right photographer! The icing on the cake is that EVERYONE at the wedding loved Mike, he was a pleasure to work with and nearly everyone commented on how wonderful he was. When he wasn't taking photos you could see he was thinking of moments he could capture or the perfect next shot.
