Our cake was amazing, the flavors were wonderful and not one slice of cake remained at the end of the night!!! I can say that I called at least 5 or 6 times with questions and Mike himself picked up every time!!! Highly recommend!!!

I would 100% recommend booking Mikes Amazing Cakes for your wedding cake! Working with Mike was super easy! With covid we were wondering if we were going to be able to taste test but Mike made it super easy! He had two flavors that he highlighted each week and all we needed to do was put our name on the tasting list for that week and then pick them up on Fridays by 3pm. No pressure and we got to try so many amazing flavors!! It was so hard to decide but once we decided on two we worked with Mike for our design. He asked detailed questions and for inspiration pictures as well. He was very accommodating. The cake turned out exactly how we envisioned it all while tasting amazing! We were super happy and would recommend booking with Mike for any cake needs!

Mike was awesome! Easy to communicate with via email - he replied quickly and answered all my questions. The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful! Our top tier was red velvet and the bottom was coffee with Irish cream filling. The red velvet was amazing! I didn’t get to taste the coffee flavor, but my guests raved about it as well!

Mike's Amazing Cakes are truly amazing in design and taste! So far we have ordered two cakes and both were made with quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The first was a 10" printed cake for my husband's 30th birthday. He is car guy so we surprised him with a picture of him driving his car printed on the cake. Theresa was very responsive to my emails to finalize the details of the design. I requested a banner on the cake and the end result perfectly matched the aesthetics! At the birthday party, everyone enjoyed and complimented the double chocolate cake. The second order from Mike's was our wedding cake. Originally we planned a 3-tier cake made with white pleated buttercream with marble cake and chocolate filling. At our appointment, Theresa was very helpful with determining the size of cake we needed to match our guest count. However, once the pandemic hit, which changed with our wedding plans, Mike's was willing to modify our order to a 6" single tier 4.5" tall cake for our wedding photo session. He called a week in advance to confirm our order and was very fast to answer questions I had by email. Pick up was easy and the cake held it's shape in the warm weather outside for a couple of hours. But just as important, it tasted AMAZING!!

We visited quite a few bakeries for tastings and Mike's was our favorite. It was rather difficult to get a hold of Mike's but with the help of our wedding planner, we got in touch with Mike's and placed our order. We ordered a small cake for cutting and a bunch of cupcakes. Everything looked great. The small cake was delicious and exactly what we asked for. The cupcakes were a different story. They were dry and the fillings were completely different flavors from what we asked for. I would still recommend Mike's for cakes, but if you want cupcakes, go elsewhere.

Everyone I talked to about where to get my wedding cake from told me to check out Mike's Amazing Cakes because they were affordable and delicious. They couldn't have been more right! I made an appointment and saw Theresa. I had emailed her a few photos of some cake designs that I liked and she went through, step by step, how much it would cost and why. They can do literally anything you can think of when it comes to design! It's pretty astounding. My cake was beautiful and everything I wanted! The hardest part of the process was figuring out what flavor cake we wanted. That was also the fun part! Every other week they have four different cake flavors to try. My now husband only had days off from work the same days they had off so we could never go in together to do tastings. Because of that, I would go in every other week and Theresa would make us a cake tasting take home box that I could bring home to my husband so we could do the tasting at home. And seriously, ALL their flavors are delicious so deciding what we liked the best was the hardest choice of all! We decided to go with a chocolate cake with bailey's irish cream and it was to die for! It was a HIT at the wedding! They are also very accommodating and easy to work with! Getting in touch was easy, the decision making process was simple, and they were just a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a cake for any occasion!

Delicious, beautiful , perfect cake to top off our wedding. Theresa was easy to communicate and get along with, full of passion for her role. It was great to taste samples and see the possibilities of the kinds of cakes they can make. The texture and taste of the cake itself was fabulous., as well as the presentation. Delivery was spot on. We loved our cake! We were able to choose 2 delicious cake flavors with different fillings and even specify frosting colors with our design! They delivered right to the venue and called ahead. We didn't have to worry about anything! Every single bite was devoured!

I have admired Mike's Amazing Cakes for a while before my wedding, so I was really excited to book with them for my wedding! While they were a little difficult to get in touch with, they were always very friendly and accommodating throughout the process. We loved all the samples we tried and had a lot of fun creating our one of a kind cake! On our wedding day the cake was a little less than what we had hoped for - lumpy fondant, odd coloration, and just a bit dry. It wasn't anything we couldn't get past so we still enjoyed it. We spoke to them about our concerns and they gave us a good refund without hesitation or even having to negotiate. They exceeded our expectations on that side of things (especially when we had no expectations of a refund haha)! All in all, wonderful people, wonderful cake, and wonderful customer service - even if they had a little miss with ours. I would still recommend them! P.S. they also did my sister-in-law's cake and that was DELICIOUS and beautiful so I think ours was just a fluke.

Amazing (I can see why they’re called Mike’s Amazing Cakes) and beautiful cake, totally beyond what I expected for a simple buttercream cake covered with our florists flowers! Our consultation was amazing, we got to taste test several of the more popular combinations as well as some other’s and that’s really what sold me. We weren’t looking for something incredible covered in fondant (although, the work they do is crazy cool), but for something simple and one that tasted great. I think Mike’s Amazing Cake’s delivered on both accounts! When it came time for the big day they were right on time with delivery, and we are so glad we found them!

It was great working with Theresa at Mike's Amazing Cakes! We did a semi-naked, 3-tier cake that fed 70 people. Not only did it taste incredible, but it was very affordable. Initially, I was dreading the cake and all the decisions, but it was such an easy process. All of our guests are still raving about how great it tasted (35 servings carrot cake with a cream cheese filling and 35 servings of spice with a caramel cream cheese filling). I can't wait for our next party, to order something else. Our only regret is that we didn't order more!

The cake that Mike’s made for us was unbelievable, and a huge highlight for our Safeco Field wedding. They were able to construct a flawless replica of the stadium...and it was delicious. Some people thought it was a model, and were blown away to learn that it was a cake. It arrived on time and ready to go on the day of. Communication with the vendor was something of a problem, as we were never quite clear of what the status was of our order and what step came next, but these guys were truly professional artists and definitely knew what they were doing,

Mike's baked the cake for our wedding in August. Not only was the cake delicious they managed to create the exact cake designs I wanted from a picture that I found online. I would recommend them for wedding cakes for sure!

Mike's Amazing Cakes did a wonderful job on our wedding cake. They have monthly cake buffets that helped us pick out what flavors we wanted and the team did a great job estimating pricing for us. All we did was send them two pictures and our cake turned out exactly the way we wanted. I don't think you can beat the price either. The other places we were looking at would have been 3x more expensive. I do think that the cake was a little bit dry, but otherwise amazing. The only other negative piece was that upon delivery they didn't bring a box to put our top tier cake in and I thought they said they would. Other than than super easy and great experience!

Mike’s really does provide amazing cakes! They made the most beautiful cake exactly how we had dreamed for a reasonable price. Not to mention how delicious it was! We highly recommend their carrot cake with cream cheese frosting—it is simply divine!

Loved our wedding cake! It was very tasty and they executed well on the picture we gave them of what we wanted! Only reason we didn't leave 5 stars was that it was tough to get a response over email at times (she said she never got the multiple notes so might have been a technical issue on their side).

The cake was delicious and they were able to schedule the delivery to coincide with my flowers being dropped off so the florist could finish it off. The pricing was very reasonable and everyone loved the cake!

Mike's Amazing Cakes did such a great job on our wedding cake! We decided to do two flavors, red velvet with cream cheese frosting on the top and bottom tier and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for the middle tier. Both flavors were absolutely delicious, but I am a hardcore carrot cake fan so that was my favorite. They made the cake tasting so easy to schedule and were so flexible with our times. Theresa is always available to answer questions by email which I appreciated so much and she explained everything so well and made it so easy. The cake was delivered on time and I definitely appreciate all their hard work and would definitely recommend!

I had a very specific look in mind for our wedding cake and Mike’s delivered! Our cable-knit style cake looked exactly like I had envisioned it and so many of our guests have told me how delicious they were. All of their flavors are great, but the banana cake with Kahlua-salted caramel filling is truly to die for. Yum!

The execution of my wedding cakes was amazing! I ordered a main one which was a naked cake and I brought in the toppers - Banana cake with Kahlua salted caramel filing. The flavor was great and the execution of level of naked cake was right on! The second cake I chose to have my own art wallpapered on the cake and they said they do not guarantee the result of color and shape but they did such a fabulous job that it looked so seamless! The flavors were great and the looks were fabulous and they beat the prices of everyone else. What a deal.

Great experience throughout the whole process. Cake tasting was, of course, delicious, they even have open houses if you want to come back and grab some more samples. Reasonable price, we saved $200 by not having them put dots on the cake (we were surprised dots would cost this much...). Delivery was seamless, set up was quick. Cake was delicious and we had enough to feed everyone plus a little extra, just as estimated!

I literally cannot remember what flavor cake we had, but thats my fault. And I can't remember because I was soo excited about the outside of the cake...harry potter!!! They got the design perfect and even created look like us wedding topper ( witches/wizard)of us on top of the cake, which I have displayed i n my house now. I was very happoy with our cake choice!

I, the groom, had the task of ordering the cake for our wedding. The bride is not a huge fan of cake, plus she is vegan/gluten-free and opted for her own cupcakes. So I decided on Mike's Amazing Cakes because of the location, reviews, and the name! We went for two cake tastings first (one public and one private). I liked all the cool and unique flavors but wanted a simple three tiered design for about 70 people. They said they would call me a couple weeks before the wedding to confirm the flavors, but they never did so I had to call them instead. I chose chocolate cake with salted caramel filling and vanilla with orange and peach schnapps filling. Both flavors were a huge hit with the wedding guests! I know I didn't have the cake people use their amazing decorating skills but they made a simple yet elegant cake that tasted awesome! Light and fluffy! Not too heavy or sickly sweet.

They were highly recommended by our wedding venue and I can tell why after! I had an idea of how I wanted my cake and had given pictures and they matched it perfectly! I've never been much of a fan of frosting or fondant, but their butter cream was delicious and looked great. Given their wide variety of flavors and spectacular book of work I am confident they'd be able to give you anything you wanted and you'd be 100% satisfied!

Our cake was amazing! It was very tasty and beautiful. The staff at Mike’s were very helpful, responsive to emails and provided us with many options. The cake was ready as expected and our friend was able to get the cake without issue. Given their portfolio, I’m sure they could do anything you could possibly want! Mike's Amazing Cakes were exactly that, amazing! We got our wedding cake with Mike's, and I also surprised my husband and got him a groom's cake. Mike's has great "simple" design options for a great price, and we went with one of those designs for a 3-tier cake with some edible roses and paid $420. We worked with Theresa, who was fantastic and very transparent in pricing and options for our budget. She never tried to up-charge us, and always concentrated on what we liked/were comfortable with. The cakes were both incredibly yummy, and our guests loved the flavors that we chose! Our wedding cake was chocolate and baileys, and passion fruit in 1 tier. The grooms cake was chocolate peanut butter, and everyone loved it! I highly encourage going to Mike for your wedding cake, and I am definitely going back for special occasion cakes in the future too! Thanks Mike's Amazing Cakes!!

The "amazing" in Mike's Amazing Cakes is not hyperbole! My husband and I had a pirate-themed wedding since we were having the wedding on a boat. So we needed an incredible cake to match! Mike did not disappoint. Not only were the three flavors of cake all delicious, the craftsmanship of the kraken, tentacles, and ship decorations were all fantastic. He worked with us to get every detail correct. Truly amazing work!

I had planned to go in another direction for our cake so stumbled upon researching cakes late. I'd heard of Mike's Amazing Cakes and their award-winning cake and had pretty much written them off as "too expensive" but was desperate so I inquired via email. Boy was I wrong! They're cake was not only delicious but very affordable. What I loved was that I could get my big tiered cake without the big cost! I'd recommend going to a tasting (free unlike other bakers) and getting an estimate, their pricing is very straight forward.

Delicious and beautiful cake! Easy to work with and very accommodating for requests. The only negative we had was when my Maid of Honor cut the cake for guests (after we did our tiny bride/groom cut) it was a mess. The cake part was frozen solid but the icing was melty - it was described to me as if they had frozen the cake, then iced it, but did not refreeze it afterwards to have it all set. So when the cake started to thaw it made the icing runny. Luckily I had no idea as I wasn't the one serving it! I did notice the pieces looked messy when on the plates but I assumed my Maid of Honor had just botched it lol. All in all, not a big deal - it was still delicious!!

Mike's cake was amazing - ergo the name. We went to a few of their buffets and picked the perfect flavors (vanilla with raspberry filling, and red velvet with bailey's chocolate chunk), and they worked with us to design an amazing looking cake that fit in perfectly with our theme - a highlight of our wedding for sure.

Mikes I found at a bridal showcase years ago. They were sampling their signature Vanilla with orange peach schnapps. A flavor that I was hooked on. They create beautiful cakes and edible arts. A fantastic place to get you wedding cake. They did a fantasy job with my wedding cake. Thank you!!!

We visited 2 other bakeries before selecting Mike's Amazing Cakes. When we got to Mike's and saw their elaborate designs, we fell in love but assumed it would be our most expensive option. To our surprise, it was MORE affordable AND better than expected. We ended up doing both a wedding cake and a "groom's cake" so we could have the fun waterfall theme. With so many out of town guests, it was great for them to experience our "Pacific Northwest" cake with delicious flavors like lemon with Marionberry. Extremely impressed and would highly recommend.

Firstly the cake. Amazing didn't begin to describe it! My husband and I met at a Live Action Role Playing game and we wanted to be battling a big red dragon at the top! The toppers we got to keep had an amazing likeness to our Steampunk outfits! Now on to the process for getting to this cake. We first visited them 6 months before our wedding and discussed firstly the whole cake being a dragon then decided on the tiers with us on the top. Leaving we had a jumble of papers that were more like notes than a final but we were confident in what we were getting. 3 weeks before the wedding we learned that they didn't have the style of cake we thought. Thankfully they still knew they were giving us a cake on our day. We had to make another trip to their office to re-explain the cake. I hope they will tighten up their admin end so it is just as amazing as their cake!

I had been recommended to use Mike's by a friend and her mom. They said, "If you're gonna get married, do it right and go with Mike's!" I will admit, knowing their reputation of being so well known and popularity in the wedding industry so I was definitely worried they'd be out of our prices range. Well they weren't! Their price was reasonable, the flavors amazing, and their staff was so easy to work with. I'm so glad we had them as our cake vendor!

Delicious cake and cute decorations. Process of ordering was a little scattered. I would suggest going in and ordering in person instead of via email like we did. Also our final cost was almost $100 more than our original quote. They have great flavors though and free tastings every other weekend!

Mike's offers a ton of different flavor options that are truly delicious. We went with several layers of almond poppy-seed with amaretto frosting and several layers orange cream. Mike's is super creative and created a cake topper for us that looked like a baseball wearing a tiara - perfect for my husband and I!

I love cake. So finding a wedding cake that tasted good, was huge for me. Of all the details for my wedding, I had the hardest time finding a cake design I didn't think was super cheesy or ugly. Finally it came down to two designs and I gave my (now) husband the final say. When we went for the tasting at Mike's, however, I wasn't overly impressed with the flavors. My husband seemed happy so we went with it anyway, but I wasn't super excited for the actual final product. Boy was I wrong!!! Not only was our cake STUNNING but it was soooooo yummy!! I was pleasantly and happily surprised. I ended up having two pieces during the wedding and was heartbroken to hear we had no leftovers. :)

We had the vanilla cake w/raspberry mousse and marble cake w/ Bailey's chocolate chunk mousse. Both were delicious and the mousse kept the cake very moist. The fondant was also tasty which was a nice bonus. We had tons of cake left over... listen when they say you only need cake for about 80% of the guests! Delivery and setup went very smoothly and the finished product looked exactly like my original sketch. I found the staff easy to work with and I would definitely say contacting them via email is the easiest option. Make sure to ask about open tasting days because you'll get to try many more flavor combos than if you go on a normal day.

Our cake was moist and delicious, even though we only got one bite! It's ok though, because our guests all enjoyed it. It was a bit smaller than I imagined, which is probably another reason why there was none leftover. They are great to work with, but a little hard to get ahold of. Be persistent. You won't find a better cake for a better price anywhere around. They offer a huge selection of flavors and fillings too. Very satisfied.

My mother in law recommended Mike's Amazing Cakes. We tried so many different flavors and settle upon 2 different combinations. The cake was delicious.

We used Mike's for our wedding cake, and I had them make the groom's cake as a surprise for my now husband. Both cakes turned out absolutely amazing! The groom's cake was a sculpted cake of his F-350, and the wedding cake was a 4-tier white fondant cake with fondant ribbon roses covering it. Everyone was absolutely amazed at both cakes, and they tasted great as well! The only thing I wasn't pleased with was the woman they have running the office. She rushed our consultation (even though we were early for our appointment), and didn't seem to take us seriously at all. She said she would email us back with more specific prices, as she needed to talk to the baker about some of the details, but after several weeks passed, I had to email her twice to get a response. And when I talked to her about the groom's cake, I had the same problem of her not taking me seriously. I was able to overlook all of this, because they delivered such an amazing product on both cakes! So I would absolutely recommend them, just don't expect great communication.

At first when I went into Mike's I assumed the cake prices would be astronomical. I mean they were featured on the food network! But after taste testing and discussing what I wanted my wedding cake to be the per slice cost was very affordable! Received many compliments from guests about how good the cake tasted...just wished I was able to have more than one bite!

When we went to go do cake tasting and order our wedding cake, we fell in love with a cake that had grapes cascading down the different tiers. when we got the cake delivered on the wedding day, it was beautiful, and it was delicious, but the grapes were much too small AND the leaves were a yellowish color when we specifically asked for olive. I have seen other pieces of their work so I'm not sure if it's just who our consultant was or what. I'll tell you though, I wouldn't have paid as much as I did if I thought we wouldn't get exactly what we ordered.

Mike's Amazing Cakes has lots of great options to choose from, and allows you to pick up cake samples during their hours of operation. They were easy to work with and our guests LOVED our cake!!
