Mikey Needleman Band

We had Mikey and his band play our reception and they did a fantastic job! Very professional to work with and all very talented musicians. They mic'd up our ceremony and made sure we were happy with everything. The (included) DJ MC'd the first part of the reception and ran dinner/first dance music (also did a fantastic job), and once the band started playing there was never a dull moment! They had a great setlist and knew how to work the crowd, keeping everyone engaged. Would hire again in a heartbeat for any event! Mikey plays a bunch of solo shows throughout the week, as well as public shows with the whole band, check them out!!

My husband and I have been fans of the Mikey Needleman Band since we were in college and we just knew they had to play at our wedding! Mikey was always on top of getting a hold of us when he needed any information and was also very responsive to any questions we had. The day of the wedding went so smoothly, Chris, the MC was awesome and once the band got going the dance floor was always packed! We received nothing but praise for the band we chose and I would not have chosen anyone else to play at our special day.

Mikey played during our cocktail hour at our wedding and so many guests came up to us to tell us how much they enjoyed it. 10/10 recommend.

Hiring the Mikey Needleman Band was probably the best decision we made in planning our reception. They are the perfect balance of fun and professional. First off, they were able to provide sound and microphones for the ceremony, then they made sure that everything flowed flawlessly to start the reception (buffet line, cake cutting, speeches, first dances, etc.), and then gave a solid 4+ hours of playing amazing music. They were very accommodating to any requests we had, even on the fly throughout the night. Looking back, having them there was the highlight of our reception and we are so glad we went with them over a traditional DJ. They sounded absolutely amazing and I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone for their big day. Thanks again Mikey!

Mikey and his band did an amazing job bringing the party at our wedding! They had a great mix/variety of songs that kept everyone dancing all night long! They were professional, kind, timely, answered all of our questions and made sure that everything went off without a hitch! The Mikey Needleman band was AMAZING! At first I wasn't sure if the live band was worth the extra money, but when I saw them perform at Local Tap I knew they were worth every cent. The band kept the crowd engaged and there was never not a person on the dance floor. It was also great to have DJ available in-between sets to place some of the classics. Mikey was so easy to work with and I was able to tell him my music preferences for cocktail hour, entrance, first dance, father/daughter, mother/ son, bouquet toss, garter toss, and cake cutting. It was nice being able to have so much personalized to our taste. They did an amazing job being M/C as well. I would highly recommend The Mikey Needleman Band for your wedding day.

The Mikey Needleman Band did an amazing job with our wedding and was a big hit with our guests! They were very talented and fun, and did a great job of getting the crowd excited and out on the dance floor. They also include a DJ/MC who introduced the wedding party, speeches, dances, etc. and played during dinner and during band breaks, which was awesome. Definitely recommend!!

The Mikey Needleman Band was the perfect choice for the wedding reception of our daughter and (now) son-in-law! We had heard Mikey's group play at another wedding and suggested to our daughter and future son-in-law to let us book them. Madison & Steve said they would be happy with just a DJ (they wanted to keep costs down for us), but we urged them to go listen to Mikey and his crew at one of their public appearances. That's all it took! Mikey was so easy to work with, and we had dozens of comments from our guests praising the band, not to mention the dance floor was full the entire evening! Madison Oswald is our only daughter, so we wanted her to have a memorable wedding day, and The Mikey Needleman Band certainly did its part to accomplish that goal! I'm sure Madison and her husband Steve are now keeping the party going in Maui!

Mikey Needleman Band was hands down my favorite vendor!!! They were so great to work with and made sure everything went just how I wanted it to! My guests could not stop raving about them either. Their music and set up was just perfect! They even played the music videos on the wall, how cool is that!? I would hire them again and again.

The entire experience was amazing. Mikey and the band were extremely professional and SO MUCH FUN! They even edited a song specifically for us the week of the wedding. We could not have asked for a better band for our wedding. Our guests raved about how incredible they were! I would not have wanted anyone else to be part of our special day! Our wedding was exactly a month ago and we couldn’t of had a better band than The MNB!!! They were absolutely amazing! From the first dance all the way to the very end, they were so great to work with! Meeting with them was so easy and they were so nice when we wanted to change our first dance song more than once! The Mikey Needleman Band took our wedding to the next level! From the onset, they were very professional to work with via their prompt responses and very clear emails. Before our wedding we decided to check them out at the Levee in KC MO and they had the whole place rocking. The night of our wedding the DJ was so go with the flow. He made the announcements perfectly and set the right vibe for our dinner. He also made the announcements that TMNB was ready to play outside! TMND threw down all night, playing hits from a variety of eras! Their variety made it possible for everyone in the diverse wedding crowd to enjoy dancing and sing alongs. The Mikey Needleman Band was amazing at our wedding. We had a huge dance floor, and it was full the entire night. The DJ did a great job during announcements and during band breaks. I can't count the number of compliments we got about hiring these guys. Bands make weddings so much more fun, and The Mikey Needleman Band is the best of the best.

MNB completely exceeded our expectations. Everything from the initial communication, through the planning process, and finally the performance. I would not think twice about booking them again. Extremely professional and customer oriented. Throughout the night of our reception and in the following weeks, we received compliments regarding the band's performance from a significant amount of our guests. I have seen MNB perform in various settings, resulting in booking them for our wedding. Best. Decision. Ever. And worth every penny in that wedding budget we all have! The biggest factor in your evening of the reception-dinner-dance, is how smooth it flows. The last thing the bride and groom want to worry about is when and how guests will be dismissed for dinner or cake, or when the first dances will be, bouqet and garter toss, etc. MNB takes care of all of this. It has been 3 weeks since our wedding, and we are still getting word of how much fun our guests had. I believe it, since the dance floor was still full to the very last song! The organization, the entertainment, the talent, all contribute to a flawless experience with MNB. Go book them!!

Mikey Needleman Band is the only answer when trying to find a band/DJ for your wedding reception or any other occasion. As a bride my main objective leading up to our wedding day was to make sure that my family and friends enjoyed themselves thoroughly at the wedding and the reception without having to be a "hostess" the entire night. By booking them you will be able to be stress free on the most important day of your life knowing that they have it all under control. Mikey and all the band members are all professional and kind! They made the night memorable for everyone by creating an atmosphere that no one wanted to leave from start to finish. Hindsight is 20/20, and after planning a wedding you learn that there are some things you might have done differently given the opportunity but I can 100% assure you that the only thing you would regret is NOT having Mikey Needleman Band at your wedding reception (or other special occasion)!!! Book this band! We planned an out of town wedding and worried about finding a good band within our price range for entertainment. After asking around the name that kept coming up was The Mikey Needleman Band. Booking the band was extremely simple as well as affordable! Mikey was so easy to work with leading up to our Wedding Day, and he didn't disappoint on the wedding day either...The band's performance was out of this world! They completely catered to our audience and what they wanted to hear. The DJ'ing between sets kept the party going when the band took a break. It's been 3 months since our Wedding and we are still asked "What was the name of the band at your wedding? They were so awesome!" We even have friends that since booked them for a 30th Birthday Party in St. Louis. We are SO glad we booked, one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process!

Mikey played both at our engagement and wedding. He went above and beyond to arrive early, setup equipment, learn songs, and meet with us during the planning months. He's talented and was a pleasure to work with.

MNB saved us thousands with their all-inclusive entertainment package! They provided acoustic music and sound system for the ceremony, a DJ for Cocktail hour, an MC to keep the flow of the evening, a projector for our slideshow, and of course 3 hours of amazing live music. Our guest ms have been talking about them for months! Highly recommend! They kept the dance floor packed and were accommodating every step of the way.
