Milan Event Floral

Milan Events do our florals at our wedding last month and they were PHENOMENAL. I had a vision in my head I was trying to communicate through a Pinterest board and they absolutely nailed it. When I walked into our reception space, I was absolutely speechless because it was better than I had even envisioned. The team is wonderful to work with, and they clearly know their trade and the wedding business because they were able to help advise on other items like timing the sunset with the ceremony and what color chairs and linens we should to compliment their floral design for the space. Highly recommend this vendor, they are someone you can trust and is looking out for your best interest! Thank you Milan for making our wedding so beautiful and special!

They listened to my ideas and executed them with professionalism and good cheer. The flowers and lighting for the tables was stunning and fit perfectly with our theme. A joy all around!

We found Milan through our wedding planner, Simply You. They did an amazing job with a few changes we made from the initial proposal, and the flowers and tropical garland were absolutely stunning. We even had a hummingbird enjoy them during our reception dinner! Our wedding was at Little Palm Island, and the staff moved them to our suite for us to enjoy during our stay there.

The first time I cried on my wedding day was when I saw my flowers ! Peter is a genius and him and his team were incredible to work with. Peter took the time to talk with me and understand my vision for my wedding day, and he truly made it come to life. I felt that I could trust him to make the decor amazing and I was right! I was blown away from start to finish and got so many compliments. 10/10 would recommend!

Really beautiful work and great customer service. Peter and his staff are professionals. They just don’t promise, they made the venue for my daughter’s wedding so perfect. He even let us have a sneak peek the day before to make sure her bouquet was the right size because she’s petite, The flowers were beautiful and coming from me ( I was an floral and event planner myself in NY area) I always knew Peter and his team I could trust. Also we planned this wedding during covid. We were only down three days. We didn’t have an appointment but he saw us before my daughter went back to Md. and even set up the table so we had a visual . Thank you for making my daughter’s wedding a special day.

Our flowers and wedding decor turned out awesome! We got the white arch with drapery, flowers, and a chandelier! It looked beautiful! All of our bridal party flowers turned out gorgeous and they delivered them straight to our hotel room! The only thing I wish would have been different is the aisle runner. We paid $300 for this white runner and it was soooo short! I had to walk a long ways before even getting to it, which caused the bottom of my dress to get super dirty! I wish we could have gotten a longer one so I could have saved my dress!

My husband and I could not be more thrilled with how absolutely breathtaking all our floral arrangements were on our wedding day, all thanks to Peter and the Milan Event team. From my first conversation with Peter, I knew I had found the right match for our wedding. I'm very Type A, but wanted to have a relaxed attitude when in came to wedding planning, plus I was planning a destination wedding, so it was so important to me that I could totally trust all my vendors to deliver amazing quality products without me having to have constant oversight over every step of the process from afar. From our first phone call, I really felt that Peter "got" my vision. I could tell that he took a lot of pride in the quality of his work and that he had a ton of experience, so I knew I could trust him to take the reins and that everything would turn out perfect - he really loves his job and cares about delivering beautiful, quality work. Peter was deferential to my opinions, but also happy to offer his input from all his years of experience, and I definitely trusted and valued his advice and felt he never steered me wrong. Peter worked with me throughout the planning process to make my vision come to life and to make it better and better. The final product blew any and all of our (very high) expectations out of the water. Everything was exactly how we envisioned, but even better. Peter gave us so many options to pick from, and was so detail-oriented, so that every single thing was perfect - from the linens, to the chargers, to the lanterns, the candles, and all the floral arrangements throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Because of Milan Event, our flowers were one of the absolute best (and one of my most favorite) parts of our entire wedding day, and even the "pickiest" of our guests were blown away at how unique, striking, and stunning all our floral arrangements were. We give Peter and Milan Event our full and complete recommendation, and we are so grateful to them for helping to make our wedding day so beautiful, memorable, fun, and perfect - thank you all SO much!!

Our circular arch was everything. It was the first time they had ever used it! It was beautiful & full of lush greens with just a hint of white flowers. Exactly how I had envisioned it! I couldn't have loved it more. Milan also did my bouquet, bridesmaids, boutonnières, wrist corsages, flower crown, center pieces & table decor. Everything was perfect. I was planning this out of state, didn't really know what to expect, I just sent a list of flowers I wanted & colors- they nailed it. I wanted it to be classic, simple & romantic & when I saw everything come together it was perfect. Peter really knows what he is doing & I'm so happy I trusted Milan with my vision.

Peter and his team at Milan did all of the decor and floral for both our Welcome Dinner at Casa and Wedding Day at Casa and Hemingway and we could not have been more pleased! Pete knew how to add in just the right details that brought everything together so perfectly! From the napkins to the table settings, to the amazing floral arrangements he turned our vision into a reality and could not have been happier! Not to mention Peter was simply amazing to work with, he had us laughing and having fun the entire time, he took the stress right out of the whole process!

Peter & Kenneth (& the entire Milan staff) were absolutely incredible - they were available from the initial call, through our entire wedding day (by phone and in person), and until the final moments of our wedding night. I was blown away with out simple and elegant the bouquets, boutonnieres ,and corsages looked. I couldn't have asked for better looking ceremony/reception. The atmosphere was fresh and HAPPY!!! The guests raved about ALL of the decor! When it comes to flowers and wedding decor, I was clueless. However, Peter explained everything in detail and walked me through all of his decor on the website and really made me feel relaxed and confident about our decisions and the final product. Also, my husband and I were post-grad health professionals, so were on a tight budget. Peter and the Milan staff exceeded our expectations and mastered our vision while staying in our budget. Peter and Cameron were so easy to work with and made my life and decisions easier. The flowers and venue looked amazing and honestly, this was the least stressful part of planning the wedding. I knew I was in good hands after meeting Peter in his shop. I LOVED my bouquet and was so amazed by the mini bouquets for our moms. Everything was fresh and beautiful! After looking online at some of the decor Milan Events has done I knew I wanted them to do our wedding. At initial meeting with Peter I came prepared with inspiration photos and our budget. Peter worked with my vision and helped stay within our budget. Being type-A, I was nervous whether Peter really understood what I wanted. All my fears were gone when he arrived that morning with all the bouquets and boutineres. Before the ceremony, we stopped in the reception hall to see how everything turned out. It was exactly how I imagined it! Peter even stopped in with a photo of our chuppah so I could see it. Peter and his team are truly artists!

My wedding was April 6th, 2013 at the Casa Marina in Key West and Milan Event did my flowers! They were even more beautiful than I envisioned and everyone complimented the bouquets and the ceremony flowers. Peter was a delight to speak with during our creative consultation over the phone and was able to match the colors based off of a wedding invitation I emailed to him. Creating and executing a vintage themed wedding is no small task and while we had many ideas to get us started we could not have had such a spectacular event without Milan Events. Peter from Milan Events is an incredibly talented, creative and vivacious guy with an amazing aesthetic - who was a pleasure to work with! Far more than a florist ( although those were exquisite) He truly functioned as my creative director - embracing our theme , suggesting ideas and techniques to provide the "vintage look" while saving some money. His taste level was seen and demonstrated throughout the entire process of planning as he worked with the wedding planner, caterer and venue to create a truly magical day. Milan's flowers, lighting, service, etc. were top notch. You pay for it but it's worth every penny. I would recommend them to anyone with a Key West wedding. You will not be disappointed. Top notch quality and elegance.

When I first started the wedding process I always said who remembers the flowers, well it's been almost 2 months since my wedding and people are still talking about how gorgeous the flowers and decor are. I orginally wasn't going to decorate the pier of the resort, but after explaining to Peter my vision he was able to help me with what he could do. Everything was on point from linens, to bouquets, the ceremony site and even the reception chairs.

Peter and his staff were great!!!! What impeccable taste. I wasn't sure what I wanted and working with Peter and explaining what I liked, he was able to make everything beautiful. It exceeded my expectations. The centerpieces were so beautiful. the ceremony flowers were unique and amazing and the bouquets were simple and elegant!!!!!!!

The flowers looked amazing and they were very flexible changing some flowers details the last minute. I love all the flowers.

Planning my destination wedding could not have been easier interacting with Peter. He helped me create a vision and atmosphere for my wedding. He relies on beautiful flowers and his own pure talent!

Peter is nothing short of creative! I must have changed my mind a half of dozen times before we decided on my final florals, but on my wedding day-my flowers and wedding day decor was much more than I expected. Peter went above and beyond what I had with him in my contract! He made what was supposed to be an outdoor beach ceremony, a beautiful indoor ceremony (due to the rain the morning of the wedding.) All of my personals were stunning and the lighting that he added made the room look perfect. Peter added a few little small touches that pulled everything together in the end! Peter is worth every single penny we paid him!

Pricey but you pay for what you get!

It took me a couple of meetings with the owner to get what I really wanted, but in the end, it came out beautifully -- they totally nailed it. I couldn't be happier with the quality of flowers they used in the arrangements. They were still fresh and looking great when we departed Key West a week after the wedding! Kudos Milan!

The prices were astronomically high and the over all product in the end was good... not great by any means. I did rent a photo booth though and that was hugely loved by our guests!

We got married in January 2011 at the Casa Marina in Key West. Peter with Milan Event worked with us on the flowers and decor. He has been a pleasure and inspiration! Peter loves flowers, and puts a lot of passion in what he does. He has a wonderful sense of style and can make any vision come true. I treasure all my conversations with Peter about flowers and the vision for our wedding. He has great ideas, and gives you practical advice too (it is easy to get carried away when you think about the decor, but he made sure we did not spend money unnecessarily). Our ballroom looked spectacular, from the beautiful, unique linens to the most amazing flower arrangements. The ceremony site was elegant and beautiful, in an understated but very eye catching way. I love flowers, they were the main decor at our wedding, and Peter made my dreams come true!

My mother worked with Peter over the phone for my destination wedding in Key West. Just through talking to my mother, he was able to create the exact flower arrangements that I wanted. He did amazing work! I loved them!
