Milbank Historic House is a family owned bed and breakfast and wedding venue that has been serving the Jackson, LA area for over 25 years. Originally built between 1834-1836 as a bank for the Clinton-Port Hudson Railroad, it has housed many business over the years which include: a boarding house, hotel, Civil War Union barracks, a printing house, town hall, a barber shop, millinery shop, ice cream parlor, butchery, and a private residence.
The beautiful bed and breakfast is lavishly furnished with museum quality art and antiques, which provide a beautiful backdrop for a small intimate indoor wedding, bridal luncheon, or engagement party.
The beautiful private back lawn can accommodate larger weddings and receptions. There is a beautiful white wrought iron fixed canopy near the center of the lawn.

was a gorgeous backdrop for pictures of the bride and wedding party. Not only a beautiful home, the accommodations truly exceeded our expectations. Nelda and the staff were wonderful. I can’t thank her enough for how well she took care of all of us. Breakfast each morning was included and was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a place to stay or to rent for bridal photos you will not be disappointed with Milbank.

beautiful, relaxing place to get ready for the wedding. Plus, we were able to take gorgeous pictures both inside and outside Milbank before the wedding. The staff was kind enough to check with us throughout the morning to see if we needed anything, and even served us local homemade fudge and other sweets. They serve a delicious breakfast in the morning for guests.
