On 23 September, 2017, my wife and I ordered a cake topper to be delivered by 23 October, 2017. I spoke on the phone with the business, and they told me that this would be a sufficient amount of time to complete the custom piece, and we paid the $167.60 for the topper, and did not hear anything further from the company. On 24 October, I called the company to inform them that I had not heard anything regarding shipping, and that the item was already a day late. I was told that the item was being processed for shipping. The topper arrived on the evening of 26 October, and was not what we had ordered. Several details were wrong, and the topper fell apart. It looked as though they had slapped it together and rush shipped it to us. At that point, it was too late to exchange it, as our wedding was on the 28th. According to MilitaryCakeToppers.com's website, they are supposed to send us a preview photo of the topper before shipping so that issues such as this are avoided, but no such correspondence occurred. On 1 November, I sent an e-mail to the company's support link, as provided by their website, to express our dissatisfaction and to request a refund. I have not received any reply from the company in nearly 4 weeks. Not only did the company not follow their own protocols after accepting our order, but they now refuse to respond to our attempts to contact them. I am very upset and disappointed with this company.
