I could reach out to them anytime, and they were always so warm, helpful, and understanding. I felt completely supported every step of the way. For things we didn't have much of an opinion on, Candice always knew what was best given our preferences, but always presented us with options just in case we wanted to go a different way.
She kept us on track throughout the process, and when things got stressful for us closer to the date, she stepped in and took a lot off of our plate.
Everything at the wedding went extremely smoothly. We had no stress, everything was taken care of. We were able to enjoy our wedding completely carefree.
I usually keep a to do list of everything that needs to get done in life to make sure nothing slips through the cracks, even if its not something that I need to do. I tend to keep that list even when I'm fairly confident the other person will complete that task. With Candice, I felt comfortable not keeping that list, and just trusting she would take care of everything, which she did. But just the fact that I was able to get comfortable enough with Candice easy on to not keep that list was such a huge relief.
Normally when I go to a wedding, I can identify the planner, but I tend to not have a strong opinion about the planner. Many of our guests commented on how smoothly everything ran with Candice and her team. She made a uniquely positive impression on our guests.

ked Candice for partial planning services 12 months before our wedding date, and we started planning right away. She was quick to respond to emails and texts, and was prompt in scheduling our meetings. Right after we booked her for her services, she reached out to us to get started on our monthly tasks, and checked in with us on a regular basis to make sure we stayed on track each month. 3-6 months before the wedding, Candice checked in more often to make sure all of our vendors and payments were on schedule. We basically felt that she was giving us a full planning treatment. There were many areas where Candice was able to give us recommendations or considerations that we would have never thought about on our own. Candice not only provides her professional services, but we felt excited and confident when discussing our vision and wedding with her. She was realistic and honest — basically like a friend or family. Milk Events is so well-established and has incredible vendor connections which is 95% of what makes or breaks a wedding within budget. Candice was also incredibly helpful when staying within budget and worked with us to get the exact aesthetic we wanted for our wedding while keeping our budget in mind. Beyond all, she was SO FUN TO WORK WITH. We could not have imagined our day without an excellent wedding planning team. Choosing a great planner can make or break your wedding planning experience — and our wedding planning journey would not have been the same without Candice and her team. In summary, we interviewed 6 planners, and we chose Candice and her team at Milk Events. If you want a warm, welcoming, organized and experienced planner with years of experience and excellent style, you have to go with Candice at Milk Events!!!! Candice is truly the best in the business and helped the day run smoothly. We even had guests come up to us and comment on how well-organized everything was (we owe that to her). Tessa was also incredibly sweet and helpful on the day of the wedding. We also greatly appreciated the diversity of vendors they work with and their experience with cultural ceremonies. We held a Western ceremony and a Sri Lankan ceremony, and the Milk Events team did an excellent job facilitating both back-to-back. olutely amazing--very responsive and helpful with any questions I had throughout the planning process. However, we had to postpone twice due to COVID so we were appointed a new coordinator, Lindsey, to handle the remainder of our month-of coordination. She was also superb--helping with vendor outreach on the month of and everything leading up to the day-of. On the day of the wedding, there were unexpected moments like the rain, but the team monitored the weather and helped us make decisions to ensure that everything worked out perfectly.
Lindsey was awesome and stayed calm when we had to come up with backup plans. I was so thankful for my all-star team that executed my dream wedding so flawlessly! Candice, the owner, stopped by and helped, even though she was not scheduled to be there that day! 💗 She was there for the first look and even went to our venue to help coordinate when it started to rain--she was so sincere and jumped in to help whenever I needed it on that day. I was so appreciative of that! Candice, Lindsey, and their assistant coordinators really killed it on the day of the wedding and made my husband and I feel at ease with all of the unexpected hiccups that came up along the way.
Some other major perks with booking through Milk Events: our package included rental decor items that we could choose from and they helped us set up on the day of the wedding, so we didn't have to worry about buying things like votives, LED candles, cake stand, welcoming table decor, etc. Also, they also have their own stationary company, Milk & Paper Co., from which I was able to custom-design my invitations! I worked with Candice throughout the process and she was able to execute my vision perfectly!

of our wedding. During my wedding, my husband and I were able to completely relax (which is hard for us) and enjoy the day because we knew Milk Events had it down pat. We were told by more than a few guests that it was the best wedding they had been to. We are not tooting our own horn because we are not social butterflies--this is all 100% because of Candice.
We were a couple that was bumped from 2020 due to the pandemic and she worked with us for nearly 2 years on our wedding and she really helped make sure I didn't lose my mind. We chose the whole milk plan because we were planning a double ceremony day and as I mentioned above, we are not party people so we needed major help. Candice went above and beyond and I really think she did the work of 2 or 3 wedding planners.
We heard about Milk Events through a friend who had hired Candice to plan her wedding and actually attended her wedding as well. It was so seamlessly planned and went without a hitch. Before we hired Candice, we spoke to around 10 wedding planners and no one came close to how we felt when chatting with Candice and it was a no brainer to hire her.
We had both a Hindu and a Western ceremony and anticipated some speed bumps when dealing with the in-laws and family concerns. Candice was made for that challenge. She brought everyone together, navigated some frankly awkward moments like a boss and helped prevent me from going insane. And everyone loved it ! People are still gushing about how this was the first Hindu wedding they had been to that wasn't running massively behind.
Candice also fought to get us a refund when we had to reschedule our wedding and find a new venue. We were resigned to losing our deposit as so many of our other friends had, but Candice was an MVP.
Candice is communicative, professional, knowledgable, kind and fun. She knows the business inside and out, knows all of the best vendors and really gives you the guidance to plan for a successful day. She brings up all of the little details that we would have no idea to even consider because she has done this so many times.
My husband and I are also incredibly decisive, so we needed her input and guidance on a lot of things, but she was also more than happy to step back on things we were positive about including or doing.
If you're thinking of hiring Milk Events, don't think, just do it. It will be worth it and more! We think of Candice as a lifelong friend now, she truly is the best and wants the best for you as a client.

Due to Covid, we moved forward with a 25 person wedding at a venue that provided dinner service. I thought we could manage coordinating the florist, quartet, photographer, and flow of the ceremony on our own to save some money. However, when we touched base with Candice, we realized there were so many minute details we didn't think about. By the time we were ready to book a planner, we were working with tight turnaround times and Candice made the process so easy and seamless. She stepped in and fully put our vision together - design, layout, timelines, etc.
Day of - Candice and Leo were amazing! They came to the rescue multiple times! Our officiant (and my maid of honor) fell ill morning of and Candice was able to put us at ease within a minute by providing alternatives, and met me at the venue earlier than we planned as support. The button on my husband's tux loosened and Leo sewed it back quickly! Family members were all over the place, putting us behind schedule, and Candice and Leo were able to corral everyone for us.

with the (day of) package and were completely blown away with the service we received. Candice is highly responsive, usually responding within 24 hours at the latest. She's definitely an experienced coordinator and was always able to help answer any questions we had leading up to the event. Obviously because my wife and I were newbies in planning a wedding, she was also a great source for guidance on a lot of our decisions.

My wife had no issues whatsoever the day of our wedding. Completely smooth sailing. Candice was amazing at organizing all of our vendors and letting them know where to go and what to do.
Candice also made sure that during the day of, she resolved so many last minute issues that were happening to my grooms suite (e.g. getting the A/C in the room fixed, asking the venue to fix the outlet in the grooms suite restroom, helping the groomsmen put on their boutonnieres). She even made sure to give us a few moments in between events to eat! As many other married couples know, getting to eat your own wedding food is a luxury since you almost never have time to enjoy it, but she made sure that we had some time to enjoy our food too.

Candice. Initially, I wanted some help from a planner but did not want a full-time planner. Candice has different packages and lets you customize by picking and choosing different services from each in order to meet all your needs. She is very communicative and responsive - always responds within the same day, if not the same hour. She has connections with amazing vendors and helps keep you ahead of schedule for everything you need to do. She is so detail-oriented and creates budgets, spreadsheets, timelines, etc. Everyone was amazed at our day-of timeline and how much thought and detail went into it. On the day of the wedding, she and her team had headsets on and were so on point that my family and others said they were like the secret service - haha. For example, when a guest showed up last minute without RSVP-ing, Candice told her assistant over the headset to look for that person, what they looked like, and to tell him where his table was. She also accommodated game time changes - we ended up wanting to do the chair dance last minute and wanted to cancel portions of the reception, and she made it happen. She also somehow got all my things together at the end of the night and made sure everything got back to my hotel with me.
Everyone warned me that at least two things would go wrong on my wedding day. If that happened, I have no idea because Candice is an absolute professional. She is a natural at her job and we cannot thank her or recommend her enough.

She accommodated our photographer’s schedule and timed everything perfectly so that we would have our sunset photoshoot. We opted to do catering at the Airbnb; the catering place Candice recommended was very delicious and the table setting was beautiful as well!

ess by whipping out an extremely detailed spreadsheet of budget and schedule, and then ended on a high note with us the day of our wedding when she calmly managed everything through unexpected rain. notes about our visions and things that we want for our big day, she asked relevant questions and was already making suggestions/recommendations, even if we haven't booked with her yet. We felt at ease talking to her and she very transparent to us. After that meeting my then fiancé, now husband said "she's dope, and we are booking her!".
We signed up with her 8 months prior to the wedding, we got the partial package (2%). Candice helped us with deciding which vendors to get and keep things within budget. She sent us this excel file of things that would help us during the planning, from deadlines, budgeting and day of activities. She would constantly check on us and make sure everything was on track. She coordinated with all vendors and created the day of timeline with everyone's contact information in there.
Then came the big day, everything went well and boy, she worked hard to make sure everything goes smoothly. She was on top of things and her team did an amazing job. The whole time I had either her or her assistant next to me to make sure I was ok, she was even helping me change shoes, put on my veil and even buzzle my dress. She was very patient with answering the questions and demands of the moms/aunties, and made sure all the guests are happy.
She was very impressive, all our family was saying after the event was "your coordinator was very nice", "Candice did a very good job", "Candice, kept her calm even if I kept on asking her questions and things" and so fort.

I interviewed several wedding planners before deciding to go with Milk Events. Before meeting Candice, I was feeling overwhelmed with wedding planning. I had no idea what I was doing and there was just SO MUCH out there. I met with Candice for about an hour and she completely put me at ease. I left my meeting feeling better and I felt like I had a plan. I hired her as soon as I got home.
We went with the Whole Milk package and it's worth every penny. My husband and I often thought her services were worth more than what she was charging because of everything she did for us. Candice had multiple in person meetings with us and met with me at various vendors. I could call or text her at anytime for advice on what to wear, what to do, etc. I had an emergency with my escort tiles two days before the wedding and I called her at 7am. I was a little distraught that I was not going to have escort tiles but knew there was nothing I could do about it BUT Candice saved the day. She made some calls and was able to get me connect with a vendor that was reasonably priced and I was able to get beautiful escort tiles in time for my wedding.
We cannot recommend Milk Events enough.
