About this vendor
Mill Street is a historic wedding venue located in Utica, OH. Set in the heart of the Ohio countryside, this charming site offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The quaint setting also features an in-house bourbon distillery and a refurbished mill tower. The location offers easy access to neighboring towns such as Mount Vernon, Newark, and Granville.
The restoration of Mill Street is featured on the popular show, Restoration Road with Clint Harp, currently streaming on discovery plus network and soon to be airing on Chip and Joanna Gaines Magnolia Network.
Constructed in 1815, Mill Street originally functioned as a grist mill. Following a complete restoration several years ago, the space opened as an event facility. The venue can accommodate up to 250 guests, with indoor and outdoor spaces available. The old Campbell Mill was once used to store and grind cereal grains after crop harvesting. Today, it is a homely spot suitable for small gatherings and cocktail parties. The mill has front and back decking areas where you can view an operational 10-feet water wheel. The Meeting House can host an intimate ceremony or a sit-down reception. This renovated barn offers a cozy and rustic atmosphere, with a seating capacity of 175 people. Guests will love the exposed beams, wooden interiors, and vintage lighting that illuminate the space. The Mill Pond Lawn is a picturesque setting for your wedding photographs. You and your beloved can smile for the camera with the sparkling lake in the background.
Numerous wedding packages and services are available at Mill Street. The event staff is dedicated to providing you with everything you need to make your wedding unforgettable. A designated event coordinator will oversee the celebration on the big day, leaving you to relax with loved ones. The staff can set up the space for the reception and clean up when the party is over. Guests can sample a drink from the bar, with signature drinks, champagne, and wine all offered. The venue partners with local catering companies to prepare delicious meal options. They can devise custom menus that match your palate and tastes. From plated meals to buffet stations, there is something for everyone. Ample on-site parking is also available, along with accommodations and WiFi.

Mill Street exceeded anything my husband and I could have ever expected. Our wedding day truly was made magical with the help of Beth and Doug. While we live in Columbus, I was rai...
sed in Utica. Mill Street allowed me to come back home and enjoy this amazing small town that raised me. While there are other venues in the area and everyone racing to do barn venues, Mill Street distinctively stood out. This venue is truly a piece of history. We were able to watch the restoration process from the start and grew ever more excited as the project progressed. How they captured the history while also having some modern twists is incredible.
We were concerned that we had too big of a guest list for Mill Street however the venue was perfect for us and the 200 people who graciously gathered to watch our special day. We had tents, food trucks, and a plethora of people.
The Morgan's also poured their heart and soul into a beautiful historical house within walking distance of the venue. My bridal party stayed there while my husbands group stayed in the Air BnB above the venue. The easily accessible places to stay helped tremendously, especially because the nearest hotel was 25 minutes away.
Beth and Doug became like family to us through this process and we cannot speak highly enough about Mill Street. If you are looking for a wedding venue, a gathering place, or maybe just want to get away for the weekend, Mill street can do it all.
