Overall a very solid 4 experience.
The FOOD:
Let's begin:
The food was excellent but given the premium pricing it better be good and at least it was.
Naming favorite items of the ...
night in order:
1) 5/5 burger - totally juicy, right balance of meat to bread ratio, onion ring and sauce was on point
2) 5/5 mushroom side - so savory, so much umami! Must order
3) 5/5 deviled eggs - classic and done to perfection. So savory and creamy.
4) 5/5 Australian F1 wagyu was better than the dry aged. For twice the price, it at least holds up when comparing the two.
5) 4/5 scallop paella - scallops were seared to perfection such a nice brown buttery crust and that slight wok taste, but the jumbo prawns were a bit over cooked and dry. Paella had crispy bottom bits which was worth savoring over.
6) 4/5 pear salad and Caesar salad. Both solidly good but nothing new
6) 3/5 oysters were over powered by the foam sauce on top. Lost the essence of the pure ocean taste.
7) honorable mentions:
Some folks loved loved the creamy mashed potatoes but it was ok for me.
Truffle fries were good but everything else was more exciting to try.
Pineapple upside cake - too sweet, unfortunately all I tasted was pure sugar and a bit of rum flavor.
