Miller’s Landing is a 100% locally owned, family-run wedding and elopement venue located on a historic oceanfront homestead in Seward, AK, at the edge of Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Fjords. Established long before Alaska became a state, the property has remained in the same family for generations and continues to be shaped by a deep respect for land, water, and community. We offer venues and access for weddings and gatherings of many sizes — from simple, private elopements reached by boat to large-scale celebrations hosting up to 1,500 guests. Our north property features expansive waterfront grounds and a 60×60 event tent that accommodates several hundred guests, while a secondary waterfront property offers an intimate setting for gatherings of up to 60 people. For couples seeking something smaller and more remote, our private elopement charters provide access by boat to some of Alaska’s most iconic landscapes, including sea stacks and spires, quiet fjords, waterfalls, and views in front of hanging and tidewater glaciers. These experiences function as private charters with a licensed captain, allowing couples to reach places that feel quiet, wild, and deeply personal. Miller’s Landing is also an active coastal outfitter, offering fishing charters, water taxi services, and kayaking access directly from the homestead. For destination weddings, this allows couples to offer their family and friends a full Alaska experience from one location. Many wedding parties charter fishing boats during their stay, catching fresh halibut and salmon that are later cooked and shared with their guests. Evenings often end gathered around our large beachside bonfire pit. We offer on-site lodging across the property, including cabins, yurts, camping cabins, tent sites, and RV spaces. RV and tent camping provide an accessible and economical way for guests to experience Alaska while attending a destination wedding. Depending on the event and property reserved, RV sites, tent camping, and select lodging are often included in the venue rental. Miller’s Landing operates as a venue, not a full-service wedding planning company. We provide the space, access, and select on-site services, while couples retain full creative control over their event. We offer in-house alcohol service under a resort liquor license and catering through our on-site café. We are not a resort, a chain, or a multi-state operation. Miller’s Landing is a working family homestead, offering weddings and elopements where Alaska is not just the backdrop — it’s part of the celebration.
