Miller's Rentals

Miller's was always spot-on with keeping in communication and helping out when there were changes or discrepancies on our contract! We held our wedding outside at Rutgers Gardens in New Brunswick, NJ where we needed to order a tent extension since the pavilion where we held the reception was not big enough to hold our guests and Miller's is the only one that has the custom tent to fit on the end of it. We also rented some tables from them since Rutgers Gardens could only provide 13. We also rented some linens from them. Overall they were very helpful and delivered all products as asked. RU Gardens asked me to pay a fire permit fee early on, which I did, and then after carefully looking over the final Miller's contract I caught a fire permit fee from them too. When I contacted Keith at Miller's about it, he explained that Rutgers Fire Safety just charges them usually and they charge the client, but I had already paid them and tried to contact RU to have them sort it out with Miller's since they had a copy of my check. RU only contacted me back and never Keith like I asked them to, but he was nice enough to take the charge off the contract for us. We did have an additional charge after the wedding for stained linens which was unfortunate since we had to pay an extra $60 or $90 I don't remember exactly, without ever getting to see these stains so I am a little peeved about that and feeling like I wanted to see them myself but not worth it since we live 1 hour away from Edison. All in all, I used them because I had to, and aside from the stain issue they were really pleasant to work with!
