The university’s proximity to major metropolitan centers is advantageous to the flow of talent and ideas. The 250-acre campus communicates something of the romanticism of Wordsworth’s retreat to the Lake District. The heart of the campus is its picturesque pond, which has been home to the university’s prized swans since 1966. The Millersville University campus buildings also feature a number of beautiful stained-glass windows. Between 1905 and 1907, a total of 14 windows were installed in the chapel of Old Main. They bear the names of virtues and values sacred to the university’s graduates. Of the original 14, three are now displayed in the Old Main room of Bolger Conference Center. One of these is titled “Prosperity”. It is hoped that your own union will be happy and prosperous.
The venue’s staff will do their part to ensure that your reception in the Bolger Conference Center is a success. The Bolger Conference Center boasts a number of beautiful event spaces and can accommodate up to 275 people. The Kline room is perfect for more intimate celebrations. Able to seat up to 48 dinner guests, it is a delightful and cozy space. The venue will work with you to adapt your reception room to your needs, and outdoor event space is also available for buffet and bar service. Wedding ceremonies can also be hosted in the Ware Center. Located in Lancaster’s arts district, the Ware Center’s facilities include the beautiful Atrium. Crowned with a glass pyramid ceiling and offering a view of the stars, the Atrium is a romantic place in which to celebrate your wedding.
The venue’s staff are proud of their reputation for providing excellent food and premium service, and they are determined to retain that prestige. They offer professional event planning services and a wide range of delicious menu items. Custom menus are available, and couples and their guests are invited to enjoy five-cheese ravioli, Maryland crab cakes, and more.

ut it's a college.... and I didn't go there, but seriously no worries at all! It was the perfect wedding venue for us! My husband had attended college there but I never did and I still loved the venue! We ended up arranging for the ceremony outside by the pond which was beautiful with the swans and they provided all the chairs free of charge! Philip managed the reception venue and we can not say enough nice things about him! He was always prompt in responding to any question and quick to give any helpful suggestions. Did I mention the venue is VERY affordable?! We were able to bring in our alcohol which really helped keep costs down and even the food costs are very reasonable for the quality of food and service!

To anyone using Millersville space for their wedding (we used The Ware Center), I would definitely suggest using Catering and Conference Services.
