sy to stay connected to during all the planning and checked in with us days and hours before the wedding to ensure everything was still aligned to our vision! Her work is breathtaking. The wine barrel toppers we needed were beyond what we even thought was doable with our budget. The bouquets and boutonnieres were perfect, and Millie worked in picture charms I ordered to honor my dear brother who passed away before my wedding. It was her special and gentle touch that made my family's and my heart so touched to have my brother represented so elegantly. If you are looking for a special florist who honors your vision, your budget, provides amazing expertise and feels like a friend there to make you feel the least stress possible with planning, then Millie is the person for you! c. Florals are very important and while I didn't know specifics at first, I did know what vibe I wanted from them. I wasn't the most laid back bride, but Millie was able to help me make decisions and she truly brought my visions to life. Each of my center pieces was different, and Millie was able to both bring prepped things and create on the scene. She was professional, showed up on time, and had a positive attitude throughout the process. New to the Knot, I am a retired art and floral teacher with a part time flower business. For the last 20 years I have been doing flowers for more than 40 weddings at resorts, churches, wineries, and private gardens. I grow some of my flowers and love creating unique and original floral designs. I especially enjoy planning events around a theme or concept. I have done flowers for Hotel Hana, Maui, AmadorArts events, Amador County Fair and other non-profits. I taught floral design for 11 years during which time I designed flowers for graduations, homecoming, and other events.
