th Shaun and Dani on our wedding day. I can't express enough gratitude towards these two. They both made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day. Their energy was contagious- fun, energetic, compassionate, and caring. They are two truly talented photographers who go above and beyond for their couples. Shaun reached out to us before our wedding day to go over detail by detail. He took the time to answer each of my many questions and calmed my nerves. I knew my husband and I were going to be in great hands! Shaun and Dani made our special requests come to life- we did a mock send off with bubbles after the church ceremony and sparklers at the venue. After the church ceremony, we went back to Nanina's to take pictures outside before the sun went down. Shaun and Dani got so excited because the sun was setting at the perfect time and they were able to capture some of our most favorite pictures! Thank you Shaun & Dani!! I can't say enough positive things about them both! They were with us for 12 hours, capturing each and every moment. We are so grateful to have had them both on our special day. We are also so excited to pick our photos that are going in our photo look book. I would recommend Milton Gil to any future couple!

vendor there. We immediately reached out and spoke with Lou who was a great contact but ultimately was booked on our day and paired us with Steve. We booked our engagement photos with Steve and the rest is history. My husband and I were very nervous to do engagement photos as we are awkward behind the camera but Steve made us feel so comfortable and those photos came out amazing. We were so excited for Steve to be our photographer on our wedding day almost a whole year later.
First and foremost, Steve was AMAZING. He was loud and direct with our distracted family members, he kept everyone organized where no one was ever confused on where to go, he knew exactly what shots to take and where as to not waste any time at all, he even ran out into the street to direct traffic so that cars weren't driving past us as we were taking photos and stood in the bushes to get the best shots. He did not miss one beat.
We also got paired with Matt, who we met the day of our wedding. He was mostly with the groomsmen during the day then assisted Steve and took photos from a different perspective. He was the BIGGEST hype man all day long. He was always on his A game and always had something nice to say or compliment us on when we felt like we looked silly. We have literally not one bad thing to say about either Matt or Steve and absolutely loved them!
Now on to the photos. We expected our photos to take about 4 weeks to be delivered to us but a week later, as we were enjoying our honeymoon, we got the email that our photos were ready! They are all STUNNING. We are so beyond blown away on how they all came out. Steve got photos head on as he was the main photographer and Matt got photos from a different perspective where we weren't looking directly at the camera. We had the perfect blend of posed photos and candid.
We are so thankful to our photographers Steve and Matt and to Milton Gil for capturing our day so incredibly beautifully. We will cherish these photos forever!

We purchased our photo and video package with Milton Gil. We originally had been assigned another photographer for our wedding day who we had completed engagement photos with last June. After we received our engagement photos, we liked, not lov...
ed, our photos abut assumed a quick discussion with our photographer would be enough. A few unanswered emails and one phone call later, we were assigned Steve as our main photographer for our wedding day. While we had not met Steve in person prior to our wedding day, we are thrilled, not to mention relieved, that it worked out the way it did. Steve and our other photographer James both have a great creative eye and were able to capture some of the best photos we have seen to date. If they saw an opportunity for a good photo, they took it. Steve was able to wrangle those who were needed for photos in a kind and quick manner, something very much appreciated as we had ample time to complete our portraits and take some time to ourselves prior to the reception starting. Our video shooter was Vinny- he did a great job capturing our night on all levels and was able to turn around our final video assets in ~6 weeks. We did not receive any sneak peek photos but did receive our entire album with 1,500+ photos 30 days after the wedding. It was worth the wait! We could not recommend Steve, James, or Vinny enough if you choose to work with Milton Gil.

nd it's a high stress environment and he was trying to make the most of it with the tight time frame we had to work with. Our pics came out great so it was fine, and we got all (almost 2,000) of them one month after our wedding which is a pretty fast turnaround for this industry! I would definitely recommend them!

y reasonable and they were so kind and accommodating. We had Lou as our main photographer and he was absolutely outstanding. We met him for the courtesy engagement shoot included with our package and he even had my husband, who does not like having photos of him taken, smiling and feeling so comfortable. The photos from our June 2022 wedding are STILL talked about amongst our family and friends because of how beautiful they came out. Every shot we could imagine was taken and on the day of the wedding Lou went out of his way to make sure I was okay with all the hecticness that comes with being a bride. Our album and parent albums were absolutely stunning. I highly recommend Milton Gil! They are the best!

My experience the day of my wedding and after was horrible and I would not go with Milton Gil for the most important day of your life.
Our engagement session with Shaun was great, but it went downhill from there including how I was talked to i...
n one of our calls. I should’ve cancelled our contract after that. Leading up to our big day, I was also caused stress because of when he would have his meal and the way Shaun communicated with me. Mind you, Florentine takes very good care of their vendors and usually they handle that with them and at no point did I try and prevent Shaun from having a meal. Throughout the day, Shaun was also harsh in his communication. Also, the night of my wedding, the second photographer said “are we getting some night shots” to Shaun and I chimed in saying yes please as we would’ve loved them. Shaun said to the other photographer “Don’t ever do that again.” He said it lower but it was loud enough and clear and told me that he was upset he suggested it as he wanted to end the night there. This is the most important day of your life and vendors should be positive and making your day run smoother, not putting negative vibes. I was thankful to the other photographer James who suggested it out of wanting to give us more memories and he even stood silent when I thanked him.
When we got our shots back, I complained to Lou as there were key shots missing and other issues. The difference in shots by Shaun with me and the other photographer with my husband was very apparent. I was going to complain about the way I was treated and the comment made by Shaun but didn’t get there as all Lou kept saying was “They did a great job.” At that point I knew my complaint wouldn’t be taken seriously especially as I was in tears. It wasn’t until I mentioned a bad review that he said he’d look into it. I refused to talk to Lou again and asked for a reply to my concerns via email but he refused to answer them. He only wanted to discuss over the phone. There was also an issue when it came to my photo edits. I was given a max of ten as a “courtesy. Mind you 5 of those shots were the main ballroom shots that had a man in the background. Something the photographer should’ve caught. On top of this this difference in information was different whenever you talked to someone and it was never consistent which led to so much confusion and frustration. I will say talking with Dani and communicating with Suzanne was great.
There are so many other photographers out there that capture weddings at Florentine beautifully. Avoid this company. My advice is cancel your contract and take the loss if you feel something off and that’s with any vendor. This is the most important day and you want to be surrounded by love and those who are going to take your vision seriously and make it happen.

At the end of the call, he explained he will give you a call back to go over all of the details once he had spoken to all parties. We reached out to you numerous times via phone call and never received a call back. We also reached out via email asking for you to give us a call. We understand you only wanted to speak via email, however, it is difficult to go over a day in an email when there are so many different moving parts to a wedding day. A professional, private one-on-one conversation is necessary and most efficient. Unfortunately, you did not give us that opportunity.

The timeline that was sent to us by you and your wedding planner was extremely tight, however, our team went above and beyond to try and accommodate to the best of their ability with the timing you and your wedding planner allowed. In parenthesis below is when things should have happened according to your wedding planner. We emphasize hair & makeup should be done by the time we arrive. As a result of hair & makeup not being done, everything was delayed:
9:37am We arrived early (start time was 10am) and photographed some details that were in the lobby.
9:50am We went into the bridal suite to say hello and let you know we arrived.
AT THAT TIME, HAIR & MAKEUP WAS NOT DONE AND YOUR DRESS WAS NOT ON THE MANNEQUIN AS YOUR WEDDING PLANNER WROTE ON THE TIMELINE. WE HAD TO SPEND 15+ MINUTES PUTTING YOUR DRESS ON THE MANNEQUIN.
10:20am Since hair & makeup was NOT done & the dress was not ready to be photographed, we began photographing your dress.
10:30-10:38am Hair & makeup JUST finished. We captured photos of the final touchups.
10:47-10:52am We took you to the lobby to capture you in your robe and photos of you near your dress.
30 MINUTES LOST DUE TO BRIDAL PARTY NOT BEING DONE WITH HAIR & MAKEUP.
11:22am We photographed you and your girls in robes.
11:38am We photographed you standing next to your dress in the upstairs bridal suite.
YOU THEN WERE PUTTING ON YOUR DRESS FOR 20 MINUTES.
12:03pm You are now in your dress. 2+ HOURS AFTER WE ARRIVED (according to your wedding planner, this should have happened at 10:50am)
12:14-12:35pm Family and bridal party are helping you with your jewelry and accessories.
12:35-12:53pm 20 MINUTES LOST DUE TO DRESS ADJUSTMENTS AND YOU TAKING CELL PHONE VIDEOS WITH YOUR BRIDAL PARTY
12:52pm First Look with Grandpa (according to your wedding planner, this should have happened at 11:20am)

1:15pm First Look with Best Man and Gus

Family photos were then scheduled to be next on the timeline, but as you can see, it was already 1 hour and 40 minutes behind and you had to leave for the church. Travel to church is 20 minutes.
2:30pm Ceremony starts
3:25pm Ceremony ends
3:40-4pm We captured couple and family photos at the church.
4:30-5:00pm We arrive back at venue and begin more photos of you alone since we couldn’t capture it earlier and then more photos of you and Gus.
5:00pm You left to get your 2nd hair look (according to your wedding planner, this should have happened at 4:35pm)
YOU DID NOT COME BACK DOWNSTAIRS WITH YOUR 2ND HAIR LOOK UNTIL 5:50PM
5:52pm We start capturing photos of you with your girls… again since we couldn’t get this earlier. We know you wanted these photos in the lobby but we chose to do this in the ballroom due to guests being in the lobby. We did not do these outside because it was dark outside by then.
6:07pm More photos of the couple inside the venue (according to your wedding planner, this should have happened at 5:35pm)
6:19-6:34pm More photos of family that we could not capture earlier in the day due to the morning timeline above. However, we made sure to capture this.
6:34-7:06pm You and Gus go eat cocktail hour privately.
7:06-7:16pm Photos of couple in ballroom
7:25-8pm Photographers capture ballroom details while couple joined cocktail hour.
The rest of the evening: Our team worked through your reception capturing incredible party pictures.
11:09pm Per your request, we went outside to take Sparkler photos and Night Shots with you, Gus and your bridal party
11:26pm We captured you and Gus watching your Same Day Edit.
AS PER OUR CONTRACT, OUR TEAM SHOULD HAVE ENDED THE EVENING AT 11PM.
WE LEFT AT 11:30PM.
We understand how important this day was to you and we truly believe we captured beautiful photos and as much as possible with the time given to us. If ample time is not given, it is not the responsibility for the photographers to make up ALL lost time. Although we did make up for lost time out of our control as much as possible.
In summary, all information was gathered by the studio from the client in a professional manner and was thoroughly looked into. We truly went above & beyond to capture everything requested from the client and wedding planner, even with the extreme time constraints we were given. The timeline above proves this as all of our photos from the day are timestamped.

lean. Plus, Steve was a photo teacher in our high school. The day of the wedding, Steve and the team showed up ready to help make the day run smooth and get every photo possible... and they did. We had a lot of family combos and a VERY tight schedule, but with their direction and timeliness, we were able to make it to out cocktail hour with PLENTY of time. They knew this was super important to us, so they made sure to make it work. On top of it, Dylan did the same day edit. He was a dream to work with. He had all the shot ideas and really made the most amazing edit. There was not a dry eye in the reception when we played it. Once receiving the photos it was like I got to relive the day. They were everything I ever wanted. Perfect and beautiful in every way. Thank you so much Milton Gil for capturing the best day of our lives.

Milton Gil was nothing less than flawless for my husband's and my wedding. Our main photographer was Lou (whom I could not recommend more highly if I tried). He photographed both our engagement shots and our wedding, and we could not be happier...
with the results! Lou went out of his way to make us feel comfortable; he was incredibly kind, warm, hilarious, chatty, and professional. Leading up to our wedding, Milton Gil sent us a very helpful worksheet, asking us what kinds of photos we wanted, timing, etc. Lou and the other photographers got every shot we wanted from several different angles, which allowed us different views of various parts of our wedding. The editing on the photos was spectacular, and the photos look absolutely stunning. I would use Milton Gil Photographers over and over again and highly recommend them if you are in the area!

Words cannot even describe how thankful my husband and I are for Milton Gil's hard work. Lu and Nicolette were our photographers on our wedding day, they brought so much joy, excitement and determination to make our photos look perfect. So many of our guests have told us that our wedding photos look like they belong in a magazine and I could not agree more. Lu and Nicolette helped us feel comfortable taking pictures, captured the most natural and elegant photos, and truly made us have so much fun. I continue to brag about Lu and Nicolette's work and refer them to all my friends who recently got engaged. The Milton Gil team was seriously the best!!! We worked with Louis as our main photographer and then Anna was his assistant on the day of of our wedding (10/22/21). We spoke to numerous photographers in the beginning of our planning process but...
once we spoke to Lou on the phone we knew we had found our photographer. He made us feel very comfortable, and since he had done numerous weddings at our venue, The Florentine Gardens, he was able to walk us through what our day would look like. I liked how thorough he was! We did an engagement shoot with him in Central Park and we were obsessed with the pictures. He has a great eye and captured some incredible moments, which made us even more excited for the wedding day. And boyy did they deliver on our wedding day! imely and ensured that all the pictures we requested were completed by 6:30, 6:29 to be exact. They were flexible with the day of timeline and helped keep everyone organized. They made taking 1500+ pictures seem much easier than I would have ever imagined. We were lucky to have two amazing photographers be a part of our special day. Every picture from the bridal and groom preparation through the end of the night were breathtaking. During the reception, nobody would have even noticed they were there yet our pictures captured every moment. Nelson and Dani made sure they caught the perfect sunset and night pictures only taking us away for short periods of time. Their pictures were breathtaking, unique, and creative. They knew the venue and exactly what their plan was. They both were professional, talented but most of all fun to spend the day with. Five months later, we are still getting complements on our pictures and we cannot stop looking at them. We cannot wait to see what our album will look like! go through our 1,000+ photos from our day and relive what an amazing time we had. Another huge bonus was that we got our photos back so quickly (just about a month after our wedding day). Mike called me about a week out from my wedding day and discussed all the details and timeline for our day. He was so perceptive to my questions and made sure we were both on the same page for my wedding day. On the day of, Mike was so sweet, professional, and fun to work with! I definitely feel awkward in front of the camera, but Mike made us feel so comfortable and all of our pictures came out AMAZING. do not photograph well and I loved the way these photos came out, I had such a hard time picking out my favorites since there are so many good ones! We have pictures of every detail of the day and our photographers got shots of everything we wanted. We were a COVID wedding and we had to reschedule twice, we also used Milton Gil and Nelson for our small ceremony last November and these pictures were amazing as well. Milton Gil was extremely accommodating of our date changes and we are so glad they were able to take photos of our smaller wedding also. When choosing a photographer, I went right to Park Chateau’s recommended vendor list. On their table was a gorgeous book by MG, and I knew right then and there I wanted to hire them. They had the aesthetic we were going for, more light and airy...
, and their book was gorgeous. We had our engagement photos with them at Skyland Manor and I was so blown away. We are super traditional and did not want a first look, they definitely tried to sway us into one, but understood in the end and left us alone about the decision, lol. I am very very thrilled about my photos and I am so excited to post them here. They were very quick which I appreciated as we wanted to get to our cocktail hour. There is also not a single photo I dislike, genuinely. Luis was our photographer and he also did our engagement shoot so we were already very comfortable with him. He has a dry sense of humor which I enjoyed, and we had no issues feeling comfortable with him and posing, etc. He also knew I didn’t want a ton go group shots because we had a massive bridal party and again, that cocktail hour was calling our name, lol!
I love getting photos taken, but my fiancé, now husband, is not a natural at all, but having had the engagement shoot behind us, he was relaxed and comfortable, and i think the photos look really natural and showcase us so well! They also caught a lot of the details I worked so hard on, which was a huge plus for me as a DIY bride without a planner. They also accommodated ALL of our date changes without any issues or up-charges, very very important!
We did not get our video yet, so no comment on that as of now!

pictures I really wanted. I wish we could have had a sit down meeting to have better communication about what I was looking for. I only have one picture of me and my new husband smiling with my bouquet. Some of the poses we were put in looked and felt so unnatural and it shows in our faces. It would've been nice to know that or to have them say "hey loosen up a bit!"....any thing to show that they wanted to get the best picture/moment/reaction out of us they could. I barely have a picture of just me standing in my dress. Milton Gil is super affordable and does have quality photos, but what I feel lacks is that one-to-one personal relationship and communication between the couple and photographer. Since it's a company of photographers, it can sometimes feel impersonal. I have some beautiful photos from the day, but I feel there was something lacking.
Great crew, went above and beyond just being photographers. They were there every step of the way. Mike and Vittor were great and so easy to work with. They made the day go so perfectly. Would recommend this company over and over again.

highly recommend doing. Having the opportunity to meet our photographer prior to our wedding was a huge component in easing anticipation of who we’d be working with. A truly talented professional, Nicolette has the ability to turn a photoshoot into a fun, play-date atmosphere with your partner. She also has the gift to pick up on your style within just a few minutes. Our additional photographer was Umberto and our videographer was Luis. I wish I could describe how absolutely marvelous they all were. They work remarkably together and all complement one another; it’s fascinating how they are able to work with one another off of intuition, they really do just know! I should preface by saying we had a very large bridal party – 25 people, 3 flower girls, and 1 ring bearer – who all four were children under 5, which takes a massive amount of creativity to keep engaged. They did magic tricks and played Baby Shark to keep the kids occupied and they absolutely loved it! Coordinating pictures for that large of a bridal party I would imagine to be a huge task. Not to them, they knew exactly what to do, kept everything in order, and were unbelievably creative in incorporating so many people. They were incredibly organized and had everything planned and ordered to the last and final detail, to say we were impressed would be an understatement. Besides the professionalism, consistency, and pure talent Nicolette, Luis, and Umberto all possess, the most important aspect of the three of them were their lovely personalities. They were so enjoyable to be around, great conversationalists, so incredibly happy and supportive of us, enthusiastic, and FUN. We were sad to say goodbye to them at the end of the night. My husband had Umberto at his house the morning of and said he was so entertaining and made him feel extremely comfortable in a morning filled with so much chaos and anticipation. All of his groomsmen talked about how awesome and funny he was, his shots tell it all. Truly a beyond gifted professional. Luis was such a kind man who wanted nothing but for me to be calm and relaxed the morning of while getting ready – which was one of the most important takeaways I have of the morning of our wedding. We also discovered that his daughter goes to the same college where my husband and I met!! Life really does come full circle and that’s exactly how we feel about Nicolette, Umberto, and Luis. We truly believe that we were meant to meet and there is no one else who we’d rather spend our entire day with. Thank you thank you thank you Nicolette, Umberto, and Luis from the bottoms of our hearts, for the IMMACULATE photos, unforgettable videos of the moments we were too adrenaline-crazed out to recognize, and capturing truly the most perfect day of our lives. Lou worked with us to have a special two-hour session so that he could still photograph our mini-ceremony (with distancing and masks). All photos came out amazing, and he really knows how to capture the perfect moments, even if they were nothing like we had planned. We are indefinitely postponing our reception until we have a clearer idea of when it will even be possible, and the company has been amazingly flexible, saying we can keep our price for up to two years because of the virus. Their prices are better than other companies and we love all of our photos. I am so happy we chose them and highly recommend them to everyone!

My husband and I are both somewhat awkward in front of cameras, and they managed to give us an album of HUNDREDS of beautiful shots where we somehow look both natural, and also way better looking than we are in real life!
Most importantly, they captured every single aspect of our day. They captured every emotion, every person, every silly moment. They captured every detail tastefully and artistically, from flowers, to jewelry, to decor and centerpieces, and beyond. When I look at this album, I am transported back to the best day of my life. I want give my highest recommendations and thanks to Milton Gil and their amazing team, especially our lead photographer, Lou.
Nearly a dozen friends/family have had weddings the last few years and every one of them had at least 1 major issue...
with their photographer. Wife and I are the only exception with ZERO issues thanks to Milton Gil. This company is well aware of all the problems with the wedding photo industry and actively solves all of them.
Major Pro's include: 1)There are no hidden fees and zero up sell pressure. The price we were quoted is the price we paid, period. This is unheard of in the current wedding photo industry. Seriously, ZERO up sell pressure in the months we worked with them. This includes a digital copy of EVERY photograph taken, for free (no extra charge). This feels like something basic, but everyone other company wanted to charge us extra for them.
In fact we got MORE than what we paid for. Our "1 hr" engagement shoot ended up being closer to 3 hrs, and on our wedding day, we had 3 photographers show up instead just the 2 we paid for (I can't guarantee it'll happen for everyone obviously).
2) They offer a joint copyright from the start (you don't even have to ask or pay extra for this). DO NOT EVER go with a photographer that doesn't allow you to do this. It's now common practice in the industry for photographer to own sole copyright to your wedding photos. This means they NOT you (the bride and groom) own your wedding photos. The horror stories from friends in this situation are too numerous to list, but basically imagine needing someone else's permission to use or even print your own wedding photos. The fact that Milton Gil refuses to participate in this horrible trend is a testament to their integrity as photographers.
3) I had the pleasure of having Lou as the photographer for both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. There is a different between a photographer who treats his work as a job, and a true artist. Lou is a true artist and it shows in the amazing photos he took. I've had several friends who went with photographers who treated their work as a job and the difference in the photos is night and day. It's hard to describe why but it like comparing photos you take of the Statue of Liberty vs a professional photographer with the same camera.
Wedding was 4/21/2019 but I wanted to finish the entire process including final albums before I left my review. Album was amazing, thank you cards they created were amazing, I have nothing but the highest praise for Milton Gil and Lou.

Then, again, on the day of the wedding when I commented about a photo he was taking, he replied "Who's wedding is it anyway?" If these comments were meant to be jokes, they missed the mark.

Ralph & Marcin were fantastic. They coordinated flawlessly which made our day fly by. We didn’t want it to end! We even invited them back to our house as many of the guests were coming over to continue the celebration. The photos taken were outstanding and very hard to choose from for our album. It took us 3 months, one was better than the next.
When I asked other couples if they watch their video, they say no, just once. Not this couple! Bob & I got married June 2nd 2018 and still watch & show off our video, that’s how amazing it is.

hotogenic and we usually delete pictures immediately after taking them, but Tom worked his magic, reassured us that we looked great after every photo he took, and our engagement photos are stunning. Tom was extremely easy to talk to and we felt like we were working with a friend. He kept us laughing and smiling throughout the shoot and after seeing how beautiful our engagement pictures turned out we knew our wedding pictures would be remarkable. On our wedding day Martin worked alongside Tom. They both did an amazing job capturing our day perfectly and we will cherish every single picture for the rest of our lives. Of course, after seeing the engagement pictures we had no doubts, but our wedding pictures exceeded any expectations we had. Tom and Martin captured every detail, emotion and moment in a way we didn’t know was possible for photographs and we are so happy that we had the pleasure of working with them. ever could have imagined! Lou helped us feel really comfortable in front of the camera the day of the wedding. The first thing he did when he arrived at my house that morning was to come and check on me and how I was feeling. He made sure that I had eaten and drank enough before I got into my dress. He made standing in front of the camera that day fun and easy for my husband and I! I felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. Now that we have seen our wedding photos (we got the proofs back in just 3 weeks!), we can't get over how beautiful they are! I'm not sure how we will ever chose which ones to put in the album. time. She set the tone for us and gave us basic instructions, but allowed us to be natural to capture authentic shots. The photos came out better than we could have ever imagined. Jesse's frozen fingers didn't stop her from creating absolutely gorgeous photos.
Jesse and Henry were at our wedding and three months after the event we still cry, laugh, and absolutely melt over our photos! They captured the most incredible facial expressions and the most meaningful moments. Between the two of them, they were able to photograph the same moment from different perspectives. For example, a picture of someone giving a speech and a picture of a guest as he laughs hysterically at that speech. Every time we look at the photos they bring us right back to our special day.
