We held our wedding at the MPM in the Steigleder gallery on the second floor. However, we were able to have our guests walk around the first floor during cocktail hour!

ved about how unique they thought the venue and experience was.
The food was delicious! The room was perfect for our theme and size. Todd was a pleasure to work with in our planning process.
I wish we could have started earlier, but we knew going in that our wedding was held at a museum and we had to wait until after hours to start. That was the only downfall was having a wedding start at 6 PM, but a great excuse to do photos before the ceremony so the bride and groom have more time to mingle with their guests during cocktail hour and reception!
It was a perfect day that we will cherish and remember forever!(:
We had our wedding at the Milwaukee public museum and everything went great. Everything went smooth and the decorations and food were awesome. We had tons of compliments on the foo...

My husband and I had our first date at the museum, and it's also where he surprised me with my ring (and the Sendik's cart in the Streets of Old Milwaukee). So we knew that this is...
where we wanted to have our reception. The evening was so beautiful, expertly executed by Todd, Nicole, and their team. We loved having our wedding video played in the Pastime Theater, cheese/sausage display at the Usinger's shop, and just having access to the entire first floor for our guests to roam and enjoy themselves. They were also super helpful leading up to the event, answering every question I sent their way, and when we had to take everything down before midnight (Nicole herself lent a helping hand!).
We had our wedding ceremony & reception at the MPM. It was awesome. Everyone commented that it was a unique & fun venue for a wedding.
When my husband and I first starting dating, the museum was one of our favorite places to go, so naturally, we wanted to have our reception there. The staff was very professional ...
and very accommodating. They were quick to answer our questions and, if there's something you don't think of, they will give you suggestions. We had two walkthroughs before the reception, just to calm our minds, and they said we could have done more, if needed. During the reception, they were wonderful with the guests and made sure that everything was running smoothly. If there was an issue, I was unaware of it; that's how good they are! They were so wonderful, they even had two waitresses carry my husband and my plates, just so we wouldn't spill on ourselves.
We had our reception on the main floor in front of the butterflies. There was so much to look at, we didn't have to decorate that much (which was super nice). The guests kept saying how this was the best reception that they had been to because, after dinner, they could wander on the first floor and look at the exhibits at their leisure.
I wish I could have another reception there; it was that amazing!
Loved having this as option for our ceremony and reception. Opted to have one hour in which folks could tour the 1st floor of the museum before our ceremony and reception. It was r...
eceived pretty well. For us and our nerdier friends this was a great way to celebrate this side of ourselves.
The museum itself is an absolutely incredible venue! We had our ceremony in the European Village and reception throughout the Streets of Old Milwaukee and the village. There were s...
o many elements that gave our guests a unique experience - I'm still hearing positive feedback months later! Everything turned out well, but the planning process felt a bit messy at times with some miscommunication between the people we worked with - they seemed confused and weren't able to keep details/prices straight, and some of our questions were never answered. Regardless, I still highly recommend the museum! I appreciate all of the hard work everyone put into making our wedding a great night.
We cannot say enough about how awesome the museum was for our wedding! We had our cocktail hour in the Streets of Old Milwaukee and the European Village and it was SO COOL! We got ...
compliments all night long from our guests about how unique our venue was and how much fun it was. Nicole from the museum staff was so accommodating to us and let us go into as many exhibits as we wanted to get our pictures taken. It is seriously the coolest place to host a wedding reception. I can't recommend it enough!
We have gotten so many compliments on how unique our reception venue was! Many people don't know you can have a wedding at the Museum. We were able to have cocktail hour throughout...
the 2nd floore exhibits and then dinner was served in the big exhibit gallery (Cleopatra was housed there previously). It worked out perfectly. Everyone was comfortable and the room was beautiful!
