Chris with Milwaukee Underground Productions was amazing from the very beginning! We found Milwaukee Underground Production through The Knot while searching for DJs in our area and instantly connected with his vibrant, free-spirited energy and that was one of the first things we loved about him. Throughout the entire planning process, he was super responsive and helpful, even giving us a thorough list of questions to guide us before the big day. On our wedding day, he was totally in tune with the vibe of the crowd. If something wasn’t working, he’d switch up the music without missing a beat. He truly kept the energy going and made the night unforgettable!

Chris and DJ Orlando from Milwaukee Underground Productions were both amazing and helped make our wedding day perfect! Chris initially helped get us set up and organized with their detailed music document to organize our song selections for wedding day which was very helpful. Then, about 2 weeks before, we had a phone call with DJ Orlando to go over all of the logistics of songs and how we wanted things to go on our wedding day which helped a lot and was very reassuring for us! Overall, everything on our wedding day went perfect, and having a very professional and experienced DJ to help with that made it all the better! Us and our guests were on the dance floor the ENTIRE night, the music was too good not to be! 10/10 recommend Chris, DJ Orlando, and the rest of his team to help make your wedding day the best day ever.

We had Chris as our DJ and he was AMAZING!!!! Even before our wedding day, he made sure to cover all of our needs to help ensure our wedding was perfect. He was SOOOO friendly and kind, and he kept the dance floor movin and groovin! His music selection during the dance portion of the night was top notch and I can't tell you how many guests we had that commented on the good music! Highly recommend Chris!

DJ Chris Troka was absolutely an asset to our wedding day going as planned (even when it didn't!). The quote process and initial meetings were easy and expectations on our time/finances were more than reasonable. The timeline they provide and example playlists definitely helped structure the night, and we were able to align their template alongside our itinerary to really get the sequencing/timing down. Packages were inclusive and very competitive for price considering the quality of service they provide. We had a last minute location change for the ceremony and part of the reception when some heavenly guests insisted on sending harsh rain (and even hail) in place of their attendance, but if there was any fuss or commotion in Chris having to relocate equipment, I as the bride was completely unaware. As I lined up with my parents outside the chapel, preparing to walk down the aisle, dodging raindrops as each of our bridesmaids and groomsmen entered before us, I could already hear the clear and timely cues of the music inside. Changes were smooth and prompt and the perfect synchronized accompaniment to such a meaningful ceremony for us. He helped make announcements after to keep the guests (and sometimes the wedding party!) moving along through the schedule. I know it was my wedding day, and I made the song list, but there's something odd about hearing music playing during your reception and loving every song because they're all ones you hand picked. The orchestral mix he played during cocktail hour had minimal instruction from me other than maybe popular movie instrumentals, and he delivered there, too. The special dances and bouquet toss were queued up in an orderly fashion with the speeches and my coordinator couldn't have gotten through everything we had to do without him, including making the shuttle announcements. Chris was courteous, energetic, and professional the entire time. The dance floor was full the duration of the night and vibes were immaculate. There were several times where I was taking a breather outside and would hear banger after banger coming from inside, drawing me right back to the party. We all had comfy shoes to change into for dancing, but partied so hard our feet were hurting anyway on the walk to the car after- a hallmark of a great night. Thank you Chris for being such a pivotal director in helping orchestrate what will be a precious family memory for all 160+ people we had attending.

Milwaukee Underground Productions (MUP) was the perfect DJ company for my recent wedding. We had Chris as our DJ; he was so professional, nice, organized, and VERY responsive via email. I love dancing, and Chris kept a large crowd on the dance floor all evening during our reception; I have had multiple people reach out to me saying that they have never danced so much at a wedding. Additionally, we had a photo booth provided by MUP. The day after our wedding, Chris sent us a link to all of the pictures from the photo booth. It was so fun to look through the pictures right away (especially since it will be a couple of weeks before the photographers get us our pictures). I would highly recommend Chris and MUP to anyone and would hire him again in a heartbeat if needed for any events going forward.

DJ Chris was excellent and kind! He was easy to work with and made sure to check in with us throughout the day. I loved that he took the time to approach us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The photo booth was a great option, our guests had a lot of fun with it!

We had our reception out of town, so I was relying on reviews to try to find our vendor. DJ Chris was extremely helpful in ensuring we stayed on our timeline and coordinating the transitions of the evening. He played great music and the dance floor was engaging all night! He played all the music we wanted and even took requests from our guests. The night wouldn’t have been the same without him. Our guests were raving about the great energy!

Chris was very professional and easy to work with. He was very attentive to our needs and he made sure to have a comprehensive understanding of what we wanted beforehand, which allowed us to focus on our wedding while he took care of things. Amazing amazing amazing!!!! Chris definitely understood the assignment. We did not give him many song requests, more of a vibe of what we were looking for and he really went above and beyond. A DJ will make or break a party and Milwaukee Underground Productions MADE OUR PARTY! Prior to our wedding day, we were convinced our friends and families would be avoiding the dance floor, opting for card games or the bar but, to my utter shock, there wasn’t a single song we didn't have a group dancing the entire evening. Chris Troka listened to us, who we are as a couple, who our guests would be and absolutely nailed it. He played a wide variety of songs that had everyone from my younger brother to our grandparents entertained. Chris’s set up was so sleek and looked very professional, from the up-lighting to the DJ booth. He was professional, funny, and a great DJ/MC.

Wow! Absolutely amazing experience with DJ Chris. From our first virtual meeting to the day of our wedding, we felt very at ease working with DJ Chris. The energy that DJ Chris brought to the party was amazing. Not only guiding us through the day as our emcee and cutting up the dance floor, but every single request we brought him was met above and beyond expectations. Chris was absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend him enough. He was kind, personable, fun, and on top of everything. Our ceremony was flawless and he played some bangers on top of our list of must plays for the reception. The communication up to and day of was seamless. It was an absolute pleasure working with Chris and MUP.

From the customer service at the very start through post-wedding follow up, this company was exceptional. DJ Orlando listened to everything we asked for, was flexible and attentive to detail. We had to move some speeches around and he was the best about it! You can tell these people have been in the business and have experience.

We used Milwaukee Underground at our wedding last month and Chris was AMAZING! He was super kind and easy-going and open to us giving him playlists or helping fill in songs based on the songs that our friends/family were responding to. Couldn't thank Chris enough, the dance floor was never empty!

DJ Chris was the best. A DJ really sets the vibe for the wedding and makes sure everyone has fun. They provide a very detailed questionnaire to understand what YOU want for your day. Chris adjusted their background playlists for cocktail hour to reflect our theme and our guests really enjoyed it. He was amazing at helping guide us through the day and keeping us on schedule. Very lovely to work with and made what could have been a stressful day so easy so we could enjoy our time. Our guests loved the music choices. He made sure to play songs to get people out and dancing. Even when we had to clear the dance floor for a broken glass, as soon as things were cleaned up he got everyone back out there. We (and our guests) had so much fun and he definitely didn't "box us in" to the standard wedding songs you hear at every wedding. You can tell he knows what he is doing and our friends and family are still talking about how great DJ Chris was. He really made our wedding the great event it was for the ceremony outside and the party inside. I highly recommend reaching out to them for your wedding or any other DJ-ing events you may have. They really know how to read their audience and make sure you have a memorable night.

Working with Chris and Milwaukee Production was such a great experience! The sound quality was excellent throughout the entire reception and even though we needed to make some minor adjustments to our timeline and grand march, Chris was able to improvise and make it work to our liking! He kept the vibe high and kept people on the dance floor! We had a Photo Booth and had the photo copies the next day! We had the privelege of working with Chris as our DJ, and he was amazing every step of the way! Our original wedding had to be postponed due to COVID in 2020, and then a reschedule also cancelled due to lockdowns, until we finally were able to have the big day in June of 2023. Chris was understanding, communicative, flexible, compassionate, and friendly throughout the entire process and that alone is worth 5 stars! On top of that though, he was incredibly kind and gracious at our wedding, absolutely killed the set list, and had his finger on the pulse of the entire event. He was easy to get in touch with, able to make things personal (we built trivia for the event and he announced questions in between), and overall felt more like a friend we invited to the wedding who happened to be an excellent DJ. My wife and I loved having him, and we truly recommend him so much! Thank you Chris!

DJ Collin was our DJ for our wedding on May 6th and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Everything went without a hitch. He was professional, entertaining, and very easy to work with. He had the dancefloor packed all night and guests constantly commented on what a great DJ we had! We also used the photobooth that MUP has to offer and that was a hit as well! The whole team at MUP were very easy to work with. In my opinion, a good DJ is key to a fun and successful wedding and DJ Collin helped to give us a fun night to remember! 10/10 stars.

DJ Robb did an excellent job! From ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception, he played a great set of music & helped to keep the flow of the day going with his MC abilities. We had such a mix of age groups & music preferences, but he met our varied requests & filled in the blanks so there was something for everyone to enjoy throughout the night. Moreover, MUP as a whole made the process leading up to the wedding very smooth & were responsive with any questions. Would recommend!

We had DJ Chris for our ceremony and reception and he was amazing! The entire planning process was smooth and stress-free. On our wedding day Chris checked in with us throughout the reception to make sure things were going well with the music and to check with us on some of our guests' song requests. Everyone knows that wedding planning can be a stressful experience; this is the reason why I chose my wedding staff based off their good energy and amazing personality (and of course stellar reviews)! I had the pleasure of working with Chris at Milwaukee Underground Productions as my wedding DJ and knew he was the right fit the moment I spoke to him. He is one of the kindest most easy going people I've ever met. The way he planned out the music for the night flowed so well including the way he transitioned into and out of the Arabic music I requested. He was flexible with last minute song changes and requests. We got nothing but compliments from our guests about how nice and awesome he was! Plus he braved a blizzard to make it to our wedding! I highly recommend Milwaukee Underground Productions to everyone I know, and will definitely hire them again!

We had DJ Chris for our wedding reception in Racine, and he was amazing. You can 100% tell that he has done plenty of weddings. He knows all the right questions to ask to make sure your day is amazing, and he is always very friendly and willing to help! I cannot recommend him more. Pricing was also very fair. We were super surprised and impressed by our DJ. We got DJ Eric and he absolutely made our wedding a party which is exactly what we were looking for. We didn’t know what to expect because we didn’t meet in person beforehand but Eric was punctual and helpful and had some personal touches throughout the night to make everything go smooth (eg. tested mics for speeches so we wouldn’t have that awkward moment of speaker feedback or anything like that).

We hired DJ Chris from Milwaukee Underground for our September wedding at South Second in Milwaukee, and he did a great job! He kept his set-up out of the way during our ceremony, helped direct our goofy cocktail hour game, and made timely (but not disruptive) announcements. Smooth process from start to finish. George was our DJ. We had Jesse operating the photo booth. Both men were fantastic. There were a few last minute change I told George and he was able to pick it up and go. We hired Chris to DJ for our wedding in August. We chose not to hire a wedding coordinator, but instead gave all of the vendors our detailed timeline. Chris was wonderful!
