We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than the Milwaukee Yacht Club. From start to finish, Dawn and the entire team were outstanding—organized, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. They made the planning process seamless and truly went above and beyond to ensure our day exceeded every expectation. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the view is unbeatable—our guests are still talking about how stunning the setting was. It created the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. On top of that, the food was phenomenal. We received so many compliments from our guests, with many saying it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a venue with a dedicated team, a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee skyline, and an unforgettable experience, we highly recommend Milwaukee Yacht Club. It truly made our wedding day everything we hoped for and more.

Elegant Events on Lake Michigan: Milwaukee Yacht Club, in Milwaukee, WI, is the perfect setting for your romantic wedding day on the water. This beautiful venue boasts both indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate intimate celebrations and grand soirees alike. A Historic Gem: The Milwaukee Yacht Club was founded over 150 years ago in 1871, and is considered the oldest yacht club on Lake Michigan. For generations, this venue has hosted everyone from experienced boaters to locals who simply love the lakeside lifestyle. Although the original clubhouse was destroyed in 1943, the club quickly showcased its resilience, and the current clubhouse has stood since 1967. Now, the venue is home to private event spaces and even a pool and hot tub, and offers nearlyweds a great spot to tie the knot. An All-Inclusive Venue: At Milwaukee Yacht Club, you and your beloved can exchange vows outdoors with the marina as your backdrop in warmer months. The expansive Clubhouse space has a capacity of 200, and makes for the best setting for larger receptions. If you're getting married during boating season, the Lakeside Patio, complete with a full-service bar, is available for up to 75 guests. You can also make use of the lawn with additional tenting at the ready. The venue's catering team can prepare a gourmet meal, complete with flavorful dishes that are tailored to your tastes. Milwaukee Yacht Club is also a great choice for pre-wedding festivities, such as engagement parties and rehearsal dinners. eremony outside on the lawn, cocktail hour in the skylark patio, and the reception inside the main dining room. The staff were so great to work with, extremely flexible, and even allowed us to bring in our own cookies and have a sparkler sendoff. The food is incredible so anything you choose will be amazing. Even with a change in staffing halfway through our planning period, we had no issues in making sure everything matched our vision. Thanks to Dawn and all the staff who gave us the best party ever!

Choosing the Milwaukee Yacht Club was the best decision we made during our planning process. They were extremely accommodating and customer service oriented every step of the way!...

For example, our rehearsal venue backed out on us very last minute. They allowed us to use their boathouse even though they already had an event in their main dining area: saving the day! A few of the venues that we looked at had hidden fees (cake cutting, serving coffee, etc.), MYC did not have any of those fees. Our guests commented on how great the food and service was, and I couldn't agree more! Having Kalyn there the day of was extremely helpful. She ensured everything ran smoothly. We had an incident with our bus driver, and she immediately took charge of the situation allowing us to enjoy our day. For the quality and service they provided, it was very affordable. I highly recommend going with the Milwaukee Yacht Club for your special day. They were wonderful!

l financially! Everything was made so easy from taking care of a lot of the decoration set up the day of, to accommodating my dietary needs, to just managing the basic flow of the day! Also, when there was a small problem, Kalyn took care of it with others in the wedding party and made it very stress free for us! Dinner was amazing...literally everyone commented on it that it was extremely delicious, and it was served at lightning speed. I'm really not sure that I can say enough good things about having our wedding at the Milwaukee Yacht Club. And on top of all of the things I mentioned, it was absolutely gorgeous being on the lake!

Ed is very prompt with questions and takes the initiative to practically reduce any room for error! You end up saving a lot because they provide most of everything you need for reception as well as the extra uncommon misc items. The chef can make each meal taste amazing, even when feeding everyone at once. It is beautiful inside and practically decorates itself, which saves you in the end! MYC has a fun, intimate and beatufil view for guests and puts you at ease when planning. I give 10 out of 5 stars
