the way. It was so fun working with the entire team and even after having a sense of what everything would look like, I was truly blown away by the end result. Cannot recommend Lilli and the whole team at mimosa enough
My thank you note to Lilli says it all:

e space was transformed into something truly magical. The arch was stunning, just stunning in every sense of the word. And the barn? Breathtaking doesn't even scratch the surface. The way you brought those florals to life in that space was amazing.
You have such an incredible gift, and this weekend was a true testament to your talent and artistry. Jay and Melissa's day was everything it deserved to be — and you played such a beautiful part in making that happen.
We could not recommend working with Mimosa enough. Lilli, Michael, and the team were AMAZING. Not only did they put together gorgeous and unique floral arrangements, but they were ...
so wonderful and enjoyable to work with. After speaking with several florists they were the only ones who quickly understood our vision and made it even more than what we could have asked for. They transformed a space in a way we had never seen before and really were such a pleasure throughout the whole process. Do not think twice about booking Mimosa!!
We could not recommend the Mimosa team more for a wedding! We had a 4 day event and each day was just as beautifully decorated and unique. Lilli and her team brought our ideas to l...

We would highly recommend them for your special occasion.

eason and ensured a cohesive story for our wedding night. They were absolutely phenomenal to work with, extremely responsive and thoughtful; I trusted their decisions each and every step of the way. Nearly all the guests were blown away by the centerpieces. Thank you!!

Working with Lilli and her team was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Lilli is the most talented, creative, and detail-oriented person we’ve had the ple...
asure of meeting. On top of that, the entire Mimosa team is so kind and fun to work with.
From the start, Lilli approached her work with incredible care. She really invested in understanding our style as a couple and the look and feeling we wanted for our wedding – she totally “got us”. Together we narrowed in on our overall design concept and key floral / décor moments that would bring our vision to life in the most eco-friendly way possible (all while supporting local floral farmers).
From small decorative elements to more significant “wow” moments, Lilli thought through every single detail. She went above and beyond, even weighing in on rentals and linens to ensure our design was cohesive throughout.
The end result was a real reflection of the team’s passion for what they do and their insane level of talent. They completely transformed our venue into an otherworldly dreamland that far surpassed all expectations. Our guests were in awe and are still talking about how stunning our wedding was a month later. We can't overstate how lucky we feel to have worked with Lilli and are forever grateful to her and the entire Mimosa team for making our wedding more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. We cannot recommend them enough!
There are no words to adequately describe how amazing Lilli and her team were for my daughters wedding in September. The flowers were magnificent and Lilli was an absolute pleasure...
to work with. You could tell she truly cared about what she was doing and wanted her customer to be the happiest they could possibly be. The team was especially calming during what can be a stressful event. The finished product was beyond what we could have ever imagined! I will most definitely use her again and extremely highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist
Lilli and her team are absolute magicians. Going into wedding planning, my husband and I had a somewhat unusual aesthetic in mind, with highly specific visions for some aspects and...
only the vaguest ideas for others; Lilli listened intently and not only did she execute exactly what we were picturing for the detail elements (like the bouquet and boutonnieres) but also was able to help us flesh out our visions for more sculptural pieces (like a ceremony arch). At one point we even showed her an abstract painting we liked and basically said, "Uh, mood-wise... this?" and she designed a piece that was spiritually, undeniably, that painting in floral-centerpiece form. If you want the flowers to be the highlight of your wedding, hire Mimosa immediately.
There are NO WORDS to even begin to describe the magic that Mimosa created with their amazing attention to detail and design. A vision was all it took and they ran with it, surpris...
ing us the day of with florals that simply were breathtaking. Our flowers did NOT fade into the background, they popped in the most elegant way imaginable. A super team to work with. Highly recommend!!!!
Our experience with Lilli and her team was incredible from start to finish. Their level of talent is unbelievable. We wanted tree installation for our ceremony and what they creat...
ed for us was absolutely stunning. I was so blown away by how they took my vision and created something way more beautiful than I had imagined. Walking into our ceremony space truly felt like stepping into a fairytale and I even heard that guests were gasping when they entered the space. Even with the over the top installation, Lilli was still able to come up with options for the rest of the florals so I could stay within my budget. On top of the over the top ceremony space, all of the arrangements on the bars, bouquets, and table arrangements were absolutely beautiful. Everything tied together perfectly and you could really see the amount of attention and care that was put into each aspect. It was such a huge relief to find a florist who could take my ideas and create something beyond what I was even thinking, and still work with my budget. Lilli and her team were so kind, professional, and genuinely excited about my wedding every time I spoke with them. I could not be happier with my experience with them and will be recommending Mimosa to EVERYONE.
Mimosa did an incredible job with our florals, which included calla lilies and lots of greenery. They were easy to work with, accommodating last minute changes and additions to our...
floral arrangements easily and perfectly. Everyone commented on how beautiful the bouquets came out, and the tropical leaf runner they did down our tables was the perfect touch. Highly recommend.
Lilli and her entire team at Mimosa were amazing to work with for our wedding at 501 Union. The team is warm, professional and took our vision from an idea to reality. The flowers ...
were so spectacular and perfect at the floral walk-through that I thought they were fake! When I arrived day of the wedding, I was so blown away by the floral design that I cried--it was perfect and brought us all so much joy. They get extra kudos in my book because our wedding had to be postponed due to COVID, and the entire postponement process was seamless with Mimosa. They are the simply the best!
Lilli and Sally completely blew us away with their floral designs for our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. They took our vision and made it a reality which far exceeded our...
expectations. The arrangement they curate and their eye for detail is unmatched. Along with their creativity and and flawless execution, they are an absolute pleasure to work with--they are so kind, responsive and warm. They really put so much effort and care into making everything unique and special. If you are planning an event or wedding in the tristate area, there is no one better than Mimosa!

owers were. Lilli did the most fantastic job and I couldn’t have even imagined more beautiful flowers. Not to mention that working with Lilli is a joy. I can’t recommend Mimosa highly enough.
Mimosa Floral are lifesavers! They were one of the first vendors we booked when we started wedding planning late 2018 - they were our number one choice not only because of their go...
rgeous designs, but also their location and eco-friendly practices. We were delighted at how thorough and flexible their floral options were, and that pricing was available on the website. From our first consultation through every change we had to make due to the quarantine, Sally was responsive, clear, kind, creative and fantastic. When we suggested boutonnieres for our moms, Sally offered these fantastic brass cuff corsages because not all summer dresses are sturdy enough to hold up a boutonniere. It was one of many instances of Mimosa hearing what we wanted, offering expertise, coming up with better solutions than I ever could, and being flexible to ultimately do whatever we wanted. On the day of, Lillian helped us load up our car for our now-out-of-state wedding and she was so kind and helpful. They really blended our aesthetic with the logistics of our travel, and the flowers were beyond gorgeous. They brought a little bit of Brooklyn to our out-of-state wedding and I'll be forever grateful to them for that. Could not have worked with a better florist and team!
Mimosa Floral is a top-notch floral design company - we cannot recommend Lilli and her team highly enough. We had very high expectations and specific requests when it came to the f...
loral vision for our wedding and Lilli exceeded those expectations in every way. They created a stunning and elegant garden party look for our outdoor reception at Tavern on the Green, and seamlessly translated that look into the flowers at the church, including a gorgeous garland on the bannister out front and in posies on the pews, and in all of the bouquets.
Beyond the highest quality craftsmanship and product, Lilli and the Mimosa team were a joy to work with. They are warm, engaging, responsive, and professional. If I were doing it all over again, I would rush to book Mimosa before doing anything else because our wedding truly would not have been the same without them.
We did not realize the importance of an excellent florist until we met with the team at Mimosa. They were able to maximize our budget and design a look and feel for our wedding tha...
t truly reflected our tasted and style. Highlights of Mimosa’s work included our incredible Chuppa—it was unlike anything we could have imagined, yet tasteful and a reflection of us as a couple. The floral arrangements on the tables and our vine chandelier were incredible. Aside from the extremely high quality work, the entire team at Mimosa was just wonderful to work with. They truly listened and cared to make our floral (and really décor) vision come true. Mimosa’s work was incredible and cannot be recommended enough.

aborated in coming up with the perfect mix of blooms while making sure to stay within my budget. I loooved the flowers she created for my wedding—everyone said they were gorgeous and unique. My palette spanned the rainbow, so the arrangements were colorful but certainly not gaudy; my photographer said of my bouquet, “It’s like a box of crayons, in a good way”, and my friends said they represented my personality, which I thought was perfect. It was such a pleasure to work with Lydia and the entire Mimosa team—they captured my essence in flower form, and created extremely stunning pieces for me.
Mimosa did the flowers for my wedding last year, and they were absolutely amazing! Easy to work with, responsive and responsible, creative, good listeners, beautiful work--I could ...
go on and on.
I knew from my first phone call with Lydia that she totally understood the aesthetic we were going for for our wedding at Liberty Warehouse. Working with Lydia and her team was suc...
h a pleasure and I instantly trusted that they would do an amazing job. This is an understatement, as they went above and beyond what we could have imagined.
When we saw the floral set up at the studio, it was just perfect. This visit was also so fun and helpful because it helped my parents see things come
to life. And seeing our flowers on the actual wedding day was somewhat unreal - everything looked so incredible and I was so excited that this was for *us*! The most stunning part for me was the asymmetrical flower arrangement they did on a circular metal piece for the ceremony. It felt like out of a dream! And the most fun element for me was the floral work they did on my wedding hat. It is so perfect and I didn’t take the hat off for a week following the wedding!
Throughout the planning process, Lydia and her team was so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. She understood exactly what I was going for, and also shared her expertise on items that I hadn’t thought about or was unfamiliar with. I can’t recommend working with Mimosa enough!!
I worked with Lydia from Mimosa for my August 9th wedding at Liberty Warehouse in Red Hook BK, and she was a dream! I had a pretty specific idea of what I wanted, pretty minimal, m...
ostly greenery with a hint of white floral, and they perfectly executed. She made the process painless, really listened to my vision while also sharing her expertise. When I saw the bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids on my wedding day I actually gasped haha. And our fully green, tropical themed archway was exactly what I envisioned. I HIGHLY recommend Mimosa for your floral needs!
After my mom had a melt down about my plan to DIY flowers for my wedding, we hired Mimosa to create ceremony arrangements and handle the "personals" (bouquets, boutonnieres, etc.) ...
for the big day. Instead of making me feel cheap for needing only a few specific items, rather than an entire wedding's worth of flowers from them, Lydia was SO NICE as she drafted up three different quotes and mock ups for our relatively small order while I tried to mitigate the family drama/budget. She made me feel like "there are no small orders, only small flowers," when it came to customer service. No other florist I spoke to offered the same flexibility and a la carte options and pricing.
And when the big day came, her arrangement truly delivered and took our event to a level that I never would have been able to achieve! I was so grateful we had their help and expertise in making the wedding a beautiful and colorful day!

nute requests to add in boutonnières I'd forgotten !
The flowers turned out so beautifully ! We were thrilled with the look of our ceremony and reception thanks to the help of Mimosa, who even provided some backup options, lest anything get droopy in the 100+ degree heat.
I strongly recommend their services.

ing great guidance on which flowers would go well with the different arrangements, and being incredibly transparent in costs (and helping me keep costs reasonable!). I truly could not recommend them more. If you need a (wedding/event) florist in NYC, don't look further!!

commend them highlight enough.
Lilli and Jillian were such a pleasure to work with for my Hindu/Jewish wedding. They took time during our 1:1 session to really understand what my husband and I wanted, and they found exactly the right balance of traditional florals that were still unique (and all within our budget).
Some highlights:
- Gorgeous chuppah / mandap that was customized to be extra large so that we could fit bride, groom and both sets of parents for the Hindu ceremony
- Beautiful flower garlands for the bride & groom Hindu ceremony
- Stunning floral arrangements incorporating cherry blossoms. Guests are still talking about them months after the wedding
- When it started raining during our ceremony, Jillian had the idea to bring in the ceremony flowers and some pieces of the chuppah to create an intimate, beautiful setting for the remainder of our ceremony. It couldn't have been more perfect and I am so grateful to her for her quick thinking and creativity

flowers at the wedding were beyond stunning and fresh. I highly recommend them!
Mimosa did the MOST incredible job for our August 2018 wedding. Lilli and her team made the whole experience so easy and fun. We went in having a very vague idea of what we wanted,...
and from the beginning Lilli had so much energy and so many ideas-- the end result was truly above and beyond what we ever thought possible! The flowers and decor were breathtaking, and our guests could not stop talking about our table centerpieces. They even created a custom seating chart that ended up being more of an undertaking than any of us had envisioned, but throughout that process Lilli was communicative and gave us solutions--and it turned out spectacular! Working with Mimosa was one of the most fun parts of wedding planning--I recommend them to everyone!

tility - whether it is a floral archway or table arrangement the attention to detail and taste level is impeccable. They are so easy to work with and take a lot of time to understand what the couple wants out of the wedding and what their vision is or help guide you if you don't know. We had to rearrange our ceremony location the day before our wedding due to unforeseen circumstances and the entire team at Mimosa was flexible and went above and beyond to make all our dreams come true. They transformed our raw space venue into the most magical and romantic environment even more beautiful that we imagined. I can't say enough good things about my experience!
Mimosa was great! When initially looking for a florist, I felt very pressured and told that I would risk the ability to use a florist if I didn't book immediately before the date '...
sold out'. Mimosa was the opposite, never forcing me into anything and assuring me they wouldn't block out dates. They respected my budget. Delivery was great and they made sure the flowers were stored properly, for the staffing company setting up the room, prior to leaving the venue. Thanks Mimosa!

I wanted and was able to create floral arrangements that were so unique and gorgeous that our guests wouldn't stop talking about them! The venue manager, our wedding planner -- everyone kept commenting about how stunning the floral were. And most importantly, my groom and I fell in love with the flowers and are still admiring pictures of my bouquet. Lilli & Mimosa played such a prominent role in helping to bring my dream wedding to life, and the whole process was a pleasure. Thank you, Mimosa! :)

to come up with a great package within our budget. The team was professional and very accommodating when I wanted to do the florist viewing remotely (I live on the West coast). I highly recommend working with Mimosa - we got so many compliments, especially on my bouquet!
We couldn't have been happier with the flowers for our wedding. From the first meeting with Lilli, I knew we had the right florist. She totally "got" the feeling of the research ...
I showed her and came to the table with terrific ideas we wouldn't have thought of. In addition to gorgeous arrangements and personal flowers for the wedding party and a perfect bouquet, she created a wall installation that friends are still talking about.
We loved their work so much that we have already decided that we want flowers from Mimosa for every anniversary!
Check them out and you won't need to look elsewhere.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
I couldn't recommend Lilli or Mimosa Floral more if I tried. From my initial phone conversation with Lilli (which lasted over an hour), she had such warmth and enthusiasm about my ...
day and my vision.. she seemed just as excited about my ideas as I was. Lilli and her team worked with me on pricing and figuring out what was best for me and my budget without compromising anything. I've never felt welcomed and supported by a group of people like I have with this staff. Lilli has brought beauty and kindness and integrity to a normally very stressful and overwhelming industry. I couldn't be happier with their talent and the overall process.
Oh my dahlia! If you want a professional team filled with fresh ideas and willing to work with you to create your dream wedding... hire Mimosa! Lilli really nailed down our style ...
when she sent over our inspiration board. Immediately I felt a sense of relief that we had found the right fit. We came in close to 4 weeks out from our wedding and they delivered a seamless experience in such a stressful time from start to finish. Lilli and Jillian were so down to earth and flexible. They were professional and we never had to worry about anything. Being greeted with champagne (um...yes, please) at our sample meeting was awesome! This is when Jillian introduced me to the cafe au lait dahlia which is just beyond gorgeous and I was so excited to see it being used in our arrangements. Seeing the ideas from our inspiration board come to life was so fun and helpful. It allowed us to make the final tweaks we wanted for our wedding look. When we walked into our venue on our wedding day we were blown away. It was truly magical and everything we envisioned. I would highly recommend Mimosa to any bride and groom.
Oh my god, Mimosa floral could not have been any better! During our initial meeting, we spoke about the vague ideas that we had for florals. They asked the perfect questions which ...
guided us to a vision that we were really excited about. The day of, they took what we spoke about and made it 50 times better! Everything was more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed of. It took our breath away!
We walked into the initial meeting with the feeling that flowers weren't something that was super important to us and at the end of the day, it became one of the best parts of our wedding. People have been talking nonstop about how stunning the florals were. Lili and her team created the most amazing hanging florals integrating the history of our relationship and the colors we chose. The arrangements were a perfect balance of colors, textures, and height creating truly interesting visuals that were in no way disruptive or ostentatious but just seamlessly added beauty to our day and space.
Their team was incredible: so talented, responsive, kind, professional and excited.
You would be so lucky to work with this incredibly talented team, I wish we could work with them again.
We are SO happy we worked with Mimosa for our wedding. We had to turn an empty, warehouse-like space into a warm, beautiful wedding venue and Mimosa helped us do just that. We wa...
nted jewel tones and the picked the most gorgeous flowers and displayed them in funky, cool vessels. We wanted the inside of the space to feel like the outdoors so they built tall centerpieces that looked like small trees on the tables and made the flower arrangements look more wild than manicured. We wanted a bistro-type feel so they found jewel-toned votives for the tables. In the end they hit the perfect balance between classic and unique, and between subtle and "wow!" When we walked into our venue from our cocktail hour, we were blown away seeing what they did with the place, and many guests approached us to comment on how gorgeous the space looked. Working with Lilli, Katie, and Lydia was so easy and they were attentive to our budgetary needs and encouraging of our vision. We did a unique, weird table-numbering scheme and they were not only completely supportive of it, but also made the prettiest table number signs I've ever seen at a wedding. There's probably more we could say but in short, Mimosa is the best and we're so grateful for their work!
I wish there was an option to give 10 stars!

cal and with unusual textures. Flowers were very important to my wedding because the venue was the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and Lilli and Jillian were so creative and put together breathtakingly beautiful arrangements. Nearly a month later, my guests are still raving about how special, unique and memorable the florals were. Lilli and Jillian were so easy to work with -- they were very responsive, friendly and enthusiastic about the project, and perfectly translated my vision into reality. And Mimosa's rates were more reasonable than other New York-area florists I consulted. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone -- they exceeded all of my (high) expectations.

. My bouquet and our chuppah were beyond anything I could have hoped for. We didn't want anything too decorative, or too much, and she nailed the simple beauty we were going for.

impact when done right. Mimosa made our wedding so beautiful and whimsical - they were a dream to work with.
From the moment we met Lilli and felt her warmth and enthusiasm we knew we had the perfect person to make sure everything was absolutely stunning. She had amazing ideas and could ...
easily articulate her vision. We had only very minor tweaks because we loved all of her ideas. She said her vision was to make the Hempstead House look like all of the vines, greenery and flowers were a part of the structure that had been there for years, like the mansion style home, and were live growing vines/greenery. She HIT the mark perfectly and even more. They meticulously took care of details to make sure everything was stunning. It really took my breath away when I saw the results. All of the guests were awed and couldn't believe none of it was there at 8am that morning. This is why I say her vision and goal was met because everyone did believe everything had already been there and was literally growing everywhere. The centerpiece and details on each table were the most beautiful I have ever seen. The wedding party table was so beautifully done that everyone was taking photos of it even before the party had sat down. I heard nothing but positive compliments from guests about the beauty of the floral decor.
Lilli was a pleasure to work with, a sweetheart to my Daughter, making sure her voice was heard and an amazing artist! I highly recommend using her; you will not be sorry! Thank you Lilli - you are amazing!
Lilli and the team absolutely crushed it! We had so much fun planning with them, and they totally brought my vague vision of French provincial/colorado wildflower/herbs to life in ...

lli and her team were so embracing and warm. I consider my style very simplistic and my vision was to keep this element in mind with the florals and Lilli had beautiful ideas that were not only cost efficient, but exactly what I envisioned. Never did Lilli ever make me feel like I needed to deter from my simplistic and minimalist approach to the floral design for my day and NEVER did she ever make me feel like my project was too small as she always made time to take on a call with me and patiently walked me through different ideas even when I became indecisive on my final floral style for the day. Lilli is a very hands on owner and although I can imagine her schedule gets really busy when you do speak to her she is extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely wants to help her clients. She listened to every detail that I wanted incorporated and what her great group of designers created was perfection. I truly believe there is no task that is to small or big for Mimosa and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!
I cannot recommend Lilli and her team at Mimosa enough! We had no idea what we wanted our wedding to look like; my now-husband and I set up an initial consultation to meet Lilli fo...
r wine, and by the end of the night she had our entire wedding sketched out on bar napkins. Mimosa was our one-stop-shop for our wedding decor: Mimosa handled the florals, candles, lanterns, and a few enormous tree installations. Lilli was also very responsive when I needed her artist eye on other pieces of the wedding's design; I often contacted her for her opinion on placecard font, which table number would highlight the centerpiece, and even what table cloth would be best. I also really, really appreciated Lilli's honesty; she never tried to upsell me on any flower or arrangement she didn't feel was necessary, and totally reigned me in when she thought my idea wouldn't be worth the cost. Lilli is truly an artist; she has a unique ability to transform a few vague ideas and concepts into a fully formed, memorable design. Our wedding guests still talk about how our wedding was the most beautiful they'd ever attended. In the words of one of my friends: "Have you looked around here yet? It's like f***ing Pinterest in here."
I CANNOT recommend Lilli and the team at Mimosa highly enough. They crafted the wedding of my dreams. I showed Lilli photos of what I liked and she took my vision and went above an...
d beyond what I could have imagined.
Lilli was always available for questions and calls throughout the process. It was truly a pleasure working with the Mimosa team.
