Maurissa brought so much extra joy to our day! She arrived bright & early, ready to go with smiles and such a calming presence that helped to put us at ease knowing we had the rig...
ht team capturing our big day. Maurissa was our videographer on our wedding day and we could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, she was supportive of our non-traditional wedding in every way. Maurissa was excellent with communication in booking and answering my 100+ questions prior to the day. On the big day she brought positive energy and creativity right away. Her pricing is transparent and she is incredibly flexible for the needs of each couple/event. We are so excited to see our video when it is ready and highly recommend Mind of Mo for any couple looking for effortless wedding videography! -The Midthuns

Maurissa was without a doubt the BEST DECISION we made for our wedding day! I literally cannot say enough good things to do her and her services justice. Even our whole wedding par...
ty and family that interacted with Maurissa throughout wedding day have also shared how awesome she was. She was fantastic from the moment we had our first introduction – she was so communicative and reassuring and worked with us to make sure we knew everything about Mind of Mo services prior to booking. That first impression is what helped us make our choice with booking her, and boy-oh-boy did she follow-through more than we could have imagined! Maurissa was also extremely patient with me - as a Type A Bride, I had sent her a lengthy list of desired photos prior to wedding day. I joked that it was a lot and she made me feel like it was totally normal. I know now that I never had to do this because her vision was magical - our favorite and featured photo is from our Sneak Peeks was all her!
What you want in a photographer is not only someone who will capture amazing photos, but also someone who will guide you through your wedding day. This is the person you will have the most interaction with all day long. Maurissa made the day fun, breezy, and even when we did have those anticipated mishaps occur (we knew there’d be at least one) she swooped in and literally saved the day. I am not being dramatic – my false eyelashes fell off not once but TWICE. The first time was right before my first look with my husband which caused a delay in our Timeline, and Maurissa flawlessly pivoted to make sure we stayed on track with time while they were re-glued onto my face. Then the second time the eyelashes came off, it was Maurissa herself who stepped up to the plate to make sure those babies were glued on right before I walked down the aisle. In this moment of panic for me, Maurissa had a confidence and calm demeanor that quickly put me at ease (and those eyelashes didn’t move again the whole night).
On top of everything, our wedding was also on the far East side of Michigan, and Maurissa is based in Minnesota. We are extremely thankful that her services were offered at this distance! Our Sneak Peek photos are STUNNING and we are so excited to see the rest of them when they are ready!

on we talked to and she was the calm within the chaos! She took the time to talk with us and did not pressure us to make a decision. She has a wonderful team but I’m so happy we had her as our photographer for our engagement pictures and for the wedding day. We don’t take many couple pictures and my husband isn’t a fan of getting his picture taken, but Maurissa made the experience so easy and fun that we got such fantastic photos! The day of the wedding, she worked so well with the other vendors. My videographers are my personal friends and they said she’s their new favorite! We HIGHLY recommend Mind of Mo!

ely. The pre planning ahead of time made a world of difference! We talked before the wedding and she was able to take all my stress and worry away. She told me she was coming the day before to make sure the weather didn't stop her. She was so over the top amazing and fun to work with! She went with the flow and captured moments that I didn't even know I needed...but so needed. She handled my big crazy family with professionalism and was flexible with our timeline when people didn't show up when they needed to. My sneak peek pictures came right away and they were more amazing than I ever imagined they could be! My pictures are timeless and breathtaking! I 100% recommend her for your wedding!

ure we got every "must have" photo. Maurissa also helped make sure we enjoyed OUR day. I was very worried about the timeline and being behind on everything but she made sure to remind me that there is no timeline and this was our special day so anything we wanted she would make happen and the guests would be okay entertaining themselves until we were ready! We loved the photos Maurissa took of us, but there was a bit of delay in getting them all.

They knew exactly what to do and kept us on schedule. They were a huge help. Mind of Mo is the one you want for your wedding. I guarantee you will be happy with their service. They are our photographers for life.
The greatest thing that my husband and I did for our wedding day was working with Mind of Mo photography. Maurissa is absolutely phenomenal. Not only does she take fantastic pictur...
es and has endless enthusiasm for her work but she really, truly cares about her clients. Leading up to our wedding day Maurissa took the time to meet with me in person to design a day of timeline and understand what I was wanting to capture in our wedding day photos. My husband and I are definitely not comfortable in front of camera, but Maurissa makes you feel like you have known her for forever which really put my husband and I at ease. She also not only acted as our photographer on the day of our wedding, but she also performed day of coordinator duties making sure everything was running smoothly as well as acting as my confidant. Even our wedding party was complementing her on the fact that she was so organized and willing to go above and beyond her photographer duties. I honestly could go on and on as to why you should have Maurissa as your wedding day photographer. Without her our day would not nearly have been as perfect as it was. So do yourself a favor and go with Mind of Mo photography for your wedding day. You will not regret it!!

rs were so fun to work with and they made everyone feel so relaxed. On our wedding day she helped to keep us on time, was a liaison between us and our reception venue when we were running behind, and advocated for getting all of the shots that we wanted to get done. Our sneak peeks arrived a couple of weeks ago and both my husband and I are obsessed with them and we can't wait for all of our pictures to arrive! We will definitely be using them in the future if we want any more professional photos done. Can't recommend them enough!
Maurissa is amazing. She went far beyond all of my expectations on my wedding day and is incredibly easy to work with and so much fun to talk to. She is an absolutely incredible ph...
otographer; suggesting many ideas I hadn't thought of, finding the most perfect natural lighting (sunset is a must!), and being an advocate during dessert and dances to get the perfect photos. Our sneak peeks were sent within just a few days after the wedding and I am completely enamored with them. I cannot wait to see the beauty Maurissa captured in the rest of the photos and will 1000% be attempting to book with her again for family photos as well as recommending to anyone and everyone in need of an amazing photographer. I cannot give enough praise for Mind Of Mo!!

Maurissa and Sean helped us make our incredible wedding day happen seamlessly. They brought professionalism and their experience into our lives, had personal meetings before our ev...
ent to clarify details, and made a real effort to get to know us before the day of our wedding.
We booked and shot an Engagement session about a year before the wedding, and had a great experience with Maurissa then, and after some additional meetings and conversation, we felt very comfortable and prepared for photography during the wedding day.
Maurissa brought a secondary photographer, at our request, to the wedding, and they split up to cover both sides of the wedding party, handle alternate angles during the ceremony time, capture both formal and staged photos as well as candid and spontaneous moments that just aren't all possible with a single person.
Our photographers brought their previous experience and personality to our day, and never felt commanding or controlling. They presented great insight and inspiration, a few must have shots of their suggestion, and were always prepared to pivot and listen to us and entertain any requests we made of them.
Maurissa and Sean shot our wedding on 2/11/2023 and we had a blast working with them. Both photographers were professional, a blast to work with, and went above and beyond during o...
ur wedding day. Leading up to our wedding, I had multiple planning meetings with Maurissa, where she went through every possible detail about our day, and she also shot our engagement photos (which we LOVE). During our wedding day, Maurissa and Sean made sure every moment was captured perfect. They also got along really well with our other vendors, which made everything so easy. We just got our sneak peaks back, and they were everything we could have wanted. We give Maurissa, Sean, and Mind of Mo Photography our highest recommendation and encourage anyone who wants to work with great people and get some incredible photos to hire them!
Maurissa is absolutely incredible and I will be recommending her to everyone I know. Not only was she incredibly personable and flexible throughout the entire process, but she went...
above and beyond the standard. Before our wedding, she helped us understand timing and the best way to craft our photography timeline. She was incredibly responsive and communicative. On the day of our wedding, She was able to work autonomously and did far more than was required. She learned our family members' names and helped everyone arrive where they needed to be. Most importantly, the photos she took are absolutely stunning. She completely understood the vibe that my husband and I were going for and we are beyond happy with our photos. I work in the event industry and know a good vendor when I meet one. I seriously cannot recommend Mind of Mo enough.
Got married November 2022, and even though Maurissa just had a child, she was still so responsive and helpful when it came to setting up a meeting to discuss and was great about re...
scheduling too.
The pictures she took were beautiful, she got so many beautiful pictures of the ceremony, from many angles (wide shots, great pictures of us at the altar, pictures of family). She captured the ceremony perfectly. She also got great first-look photos of both my husband and I, and knew so many great locations and poses around our venue. She also offered to help wrangle family for pictures and release tables for dinner too, which was amazing. She even got a great action-shot of me throwing my bouquet at my sister, which was awesome.
She was so great to work with, and went with the flow of what we wanted to do and had no issue taking both serious and goofy photos, and got pictures of all of our decorations as well (most being DIY-ed). She even took pictures of our board game table! Not something we were expecting, but I think it shows the dedication to capturing every moment of the wedding day, which we appreciate greatly. She also double-checked with us before she left that we got all the pictures we wanted, and was willing to stay longer if we did, which we also really appreciated.
Overall, I am so glad we went with Mind of Mo to capture our perfect day.
I want to say Maurissa was great to work with during our engagement session and with any questions that I had prior to the wedding. Sean and Megan were great to work with at our w...
edding and took some awesome photos. But dealing with trying to get my photos at after the wedding has been a nightmare and I wish it upon no one. I emailed Maurissa a few weeks after my wedding asking if she was doing sneak peeks like she did for our engagement session. She said she was skipping sneak peeks at the moment to get full albums out ASAP. She then said she would expect to have ours done and uploaded within the next week or so. I was aware that there is a 10 week turnaround but I followed up a month after her response just checking on the status. It was a bit disheartening and frustrating seeing her Facebook posts of edited photos from events that took place AFTER the date of my wedding. I also found a review posted from a bride who had a November 5th wedding who got her photos on November 10th. Due to the issues with the Pixeset emails/links I didn't get my pictures until after my 10 week turnaround when she emailed me the direct link. After I received my photos and reviewed them, there were still a good portion of my photos missing. We got that situated after numerous emails. But I still feel as if there are pictures missing and the photos provided are not an accurate representation of the full day. I feel like this end process was a bit unprofessional and stressful.

uld definitely recommend Mind of Mo to anyone looking for a reliable photography business that captures the days' memories beautifully!

ed compares to the love, passion, attention, charisma, servitude and flexibility of Maurissa as my wedding photographer. Not only was she a huge part in making the day even that much more special with her gorgeous photos that we’ll look back on for years to come, she brought a wonderful, effortless, and contagious enthusiasm with her wherever she went and with whomever she interacted with, unconditionally. My wife and I felt personally cared for in the best way. If you want to have someone photograph your wedding who will do nothing less than make your wedding day one of the most beautiful days of your life, wash away stress like the rain, and make you feel like your best friend is photographing your wedding: choose Maurissa from Mind of Mo Photography. You will be so happy you did.

uld have ever dreamed of! She knew precisely what to do and got through our shot list in record time. She was very helpful coming up with couple poses and fun ways to get our bridal party pics. She was essentially another 'day-off wedding coordinator' as well and was not shy about helping us round up people!
Truly, there's no other company or photographer we would have wanted to work with and we feel lucky and blessed to have gotten Mind of Mo and Maurissa to help us record our special day! We've already gotten back our preview photos and the timeline for getting all of them back is very quick. We got a link where we can download all the pictures, so we can print them or do whatever we'd like with them. We also got them in full color and in black and white so we can mix and match whatever we like best.
All in all, we would give Mind of Mo 10 out of 5 stars if we could!

I am so thankful for her and her team - Sean captured our wedding reception, and I would highly recommend him for your special day. He blended into our event and captured so many memories for us and was so patient, kind, and professional. Sean is an incredible human being in addition to having a keen eye for capturing special moments.
I feel very fortunate to have found Mind of Mo!
Maurissa and Sean couldn’t have been a more perfect pair for our wedding party and our families when it came to photos! They knew what they were doing and were efficient with time ...
and well versed with helping us plan out the timing of our day to get the photos we wanted. It was the first wedding for both sides of the family for both my husband and I, so their guidance was so appreciated!
Also, as a side note- Maurissa was like a fairy godmother pulling bobby pins out of her fanny pack to help pin down my veil and any loose hairs I had. She was literally like a sister to me and I was so grateful for it!
Maurissa was the best photographer we could have asked for. She was willing to shoot at a last minute second location and she was fun. We will absolutely hire her for any pictures ...
we plan on needing in the future from senior pictures to family photos.
You will not be disappointed in hiring Mind of Mo Photography for any event!
PHENOMENAL pictures. Easy to work with. Kind, creative, and professional. The most bang for your buck and they really go above and beyond to make the day go as smooth as possible.
Very easy to work with and got amazing pictures! Highly recommend!

ng communicator and took a TON of time making sure that my husband I had a perfect day. Not only did she respond to messages in the months leading up to the wedding, she spent HOURS meeting with us in person to ensure that we had a vision for the wedding day. Maurissa went above and beyond to make sure that we not only felt good about the photos but also with other aspects of the wedding (including helping us find last minute dishware!). Maurissa and Blair were our constant supports during one of busiest days of our lives. We can't wait to see the end results! Thanks times a million!

ylist- but that’s a different review). We were beyond thrilled with Megan and Mind of Mo Photography. They travelled to our venue, which was about 20 miles outside the Twin Cities- they also go all over Minnesota, which is amazing! Megan was extremely responsive and supportive. I had no idea what I wanted, just what I didn’t want. Megan didn’t make me feel like I need to prepare any more than I already had and she took care of everything. She was punctual and even helped calm me down in the bathroom (mild hair meltdown). She took every photo that I wanted and got a lot of really unique photos that I wouldn’t have even known to ask for. My husband and I were so happy with our experience on our wedding day that we talked about having Megan come back for our anniversary- before she even left our wedding! Highly recommend this vendor!!
