On the day-of, they made sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule (: We did run behind schedule later in the evening (as expected with any wedding, mostly due to some family drama), but they managed to get us caught up because they were very efficient at getting all of the vendors on the same page! We got so many compliments from our wedding party and guests saying the flow events appeared very smooth, and there were very few, minor hiccups, which is a huge accomplishment for a wedding in my eyes! I can honestly say I don't think our wedding day could have gone any better, and it would not have been possible without our coordinators working so hard to make sure everyone knew where to go and what to do. I also greatly appreciated their attention to detail, they set up my decorations exactly how I requested and even provided a checklist of items for me to hand to them at the rehearsal. This was such a lifesaver, we would not have had anything to cut our cake with had they not lended us their knife and server! Cannot recommend Mindy & Co Events enough!

, we started to discuss with her what her had in mind and she took it from there. Mindy was the glue that kept our wedding running smoothly. I cannot imagine what it would have been like without her. She went above and beyond what was required in order to make the weekend memorable. What stood out was her calm and cool demeanor in the face of what felt like utter chaos at times. In the midst of all her other duties, however, she still made it a priority to check on us and make sure we were fed, that we had drinks in our hands, and that we weren’t worrying ourselves with wedding details. We even had wedding guests tell us how they appreciated her attentiveness to detail. It’s the kind of work ethic that certainly shines, and I know the wedding was a success because of it. days leading up to our wedding, we decided to explore other options for a wedding coordinator. Before I go into the reasons why, I do want to acknowledge that we only hired Mindy as our day-of coordinator so we did not expect her to be involved during our wedding planning process. Also, there is definitely no personal ill will and we wish Mindy and her sister, Teri, the best. Even after our decision to pursue another wedding coordinator, we were not planning on leaving negative reviews. We knew she had an illness she was dealing with and we completely understand that things come up in life. However, we are leaving this review because Mindy and Co. Events did not even bother to respond back to our final email respectfully asking them about their cancellation policy.
Here are the reasons why we decided to not move forward with her:
Follow-through: There have been numerous times when Mindy would offer or agree to help out with something, and there would be no follow-through. Again, since we originally only hired her as our day-of, we also wanted to make sure we compensated her fairly for any extra services she provided us. We would send follow-up emails to check on the status and receive no responses from her. We understand that she is very busy and some of the items she offered to help us with were out of scope, but it's the communication about those items that have left us feeling dissatisfied. If there were something that could not be done, or there were insufficient time to address our questions, a short note/update would have sufficed.
Unreliable communication: Besides the unanswered emails, she would also miss scheduled calls. Once, we waited for her to call for a scheduled call, and decided to call her instead after a few minutes of waiting. We ended up not connecting at all and also did not receive any follow-up. Again, we do understand things come up. We just want to be informed of what is going on.
With our emails answered, outstanding items unresolved, and not showing up for scheduled calls, we did not feel at ease with Mindy and Co. for our wedding. We ended up finding a great coordinator with one week left before the wedding who worked very closely with us to ensure that we can a wedding we can enjoy.

everything to me on time so I could fill it out and back to her so it could be processed. She went out of her way to make sure that me and my parents had the least amount of stress possible. She picked up flowers, delivered them to the venue, helped the crew at our venue set up, she bustled my dress after the ceremony, the list goes on and on. She kept us on a tight schedule the day of our wedding so that everything could get done in a timely manner. She is the best coordinator!

She was not only amazing with direction and suggestions pertaining to the ceremony and reception, she even stepped up to give advice on potentially awkward family issues and going to bat with an aggressive sales contact. we didn't hire her to plan the whole event, she was available to answer questions, give feedback on ideas we had and recommend vendors.
Although she couldn't be there for our wedding, her assistant was amazing. She made sure we had drinks right after the ceremony, lent my mother in law her coat and made sure our photographers gave us a break so we could eat a plate of appetizers. She even had our photographer, videographer and DJ take their break while we ate dinner so we wouldn't be disturbed. When someone handed me a glass of red wine, she immediately stepped in and replaced it with white wine. At the end of the night she packed up all our stuff and had it in the limo before we even knew what was happening. I never saw any issues throughout the day which was fantastic.

hink what our wedding would have been like without her. She is a true force of nature who seemingly effortlessly handles everything from the big to small.
Our wedding and reception came off without a hitch -- all the parts we planned and Mindy executed, and all the things that Mindy took care of without us even realizing.
She handled everything from the getting ceremony participants organized to the final packing up of gifts and flowers into our car. When I got to our cocktail hour after shooting sunset photos, she even took it upon herself to put a drink in one of my hands and an appetizer assortment plate into the other.
I can't conceive of how anyone could have done a better job. We will always be thankful for what an integral, yet nearly invisible, part she played in our wedding.
