The ladies at Minerva’s are wonderful! This place is a hidden gem. They are extremely flexible and easy to work it. No issues with communication what so ever. And the cake ——-BEAUTIFUL. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. 100% compliments from our guests.

Still receiving compliments on my wedding cake it was absolutely amazing!

My husband selected our wedding cake vendor in a small run down town of McKeesport. When we first got there the staff turned us away because "Kathy" wasn't there, so he persisted and made an appointment with Kathy. So far, I wasn't so sure of his choice. We returned on the day of our appointment with Kathy and she was great. She was knowledgeable,helpful and accommodating to our every odd request (we had a very small and intimate wedding planned with a tiny head count, but wanted some class & flair). When she gave us the menu we chuckled at Ho Ho cake and continued reading the vast options available. She brought us out a sample of the Ho Ho filling to entertain us and we fell in love! The flaky chocolate ganash complimented their homemade cream icing so well and it was delicious! We chose the Ho Ho cake & our guests were truly impressed with how good our cake tasted. Kathy did an excellent job with the decoration, color, and sizing or the two tier. We were genuinely impressed and we both now recommend the travel into this small town bakery treasure!

Kathy is so awesome to work with! A friend of mine got her wedding cake from Minerva's and it was the best wedding cake I've ever had!! When I met with Kathy she asked what kind we wanted to try and they were all amazing!! We ended up with white cake with raspberry buttercream and a tier of white with chocolate buttercream (for my husband who loves chocolate). I've heard other friends talk about weddings they've been to where the cake was dry and did not taste good. You cannot go wrong with Minervas!!
