Minette is truly an artist; not to mention an incredible baker! Our wedding cake was out of this world! We loved so many different flavors at the tasting that we ended up picking ...
three and they were all even more delicious the day of the wedding! She was also very talented when coming up with the design of the cake! She listened to our ideas and perfectly offered her professional opinion without being pushy and worked well with our planner. We have gotten so many complements about how amazing our cake looked and tasted!
Minette with Custom Cakes was Fabulous! Everyone who was at my wedding is still ranting and raving about it. Ive never been to a wedding when all the cake was gone (Accept for top ...
portion ofcourse). I would recommend her buisness to everyone I Know, Plus the Cake looked exactly like my dress.
My cake was beautiful and delicious
My experience with Minette Rushing's custom cakes was good overall. Our initial consultation was great! They have delicious flavors and fillings and we got to taste them all. They ...
listened really well to what I wanted my cake to look like and it was a great experience. From then on communication seemed a little lacking. It would take them a really long time to do anything. I think they're pretty busy the time of year they were working with me but still I think they could've been a bit more responsive. It took a long time to get a sketch back but once I did it was beautiful and they gave me two options. Once the contract was taken care of the experience was back to being great again. The cake made it to the wedding and it was stunning! Not to mention it was soooo delicious! I assist a wedding photographer and have therefore tasted a lot of dry, tasteless wedding cake. But my cake was anything but! It was delicious!
I really enjoyed my cake, all three different layers and flavors. Minette Rushing and Ashley, the owner and our designer did a great job working from the ideas and picture that my ...
husband and I provided. They were a inconsistent with emails on occasion and of course wedding cakes are not cheap, however they did a great job and I had a beautiful cake waiting when I arrived for my reception.
I used custom cakes for my wedding back in november. The wedding cake was very simple, but i did want flowers on my cake. Well i was told that there would be beautiful Edible dark ...
purple flowers on my wedding cake instead of live flowers which could wilt, etc. So the day of our wedding I saw the cake and there was not one flower real or sugar on it. I am a very simple girl who is very easy to please, but that was just uncalled for on such a minor thing.
We went through Custom Cakes for our wedding, but they assigned us Kerry O'Connor. She did a nice job on our cakes (wedding and grooms cake). Groom's cake was a 3-D Football Helmet...
of my husband's fav team. Looked so good and cake tasts soooo good. Unfortunately, she did not secure our wedding topper and it fell off and shattered before the reception started. We used a back up topper.
Kerry O' Conner created our cake. She is so well priced and so easy to work with. We did a destination wedding and were still able to taste the cake two days before our wedding. ...
We ordered a grooms cake and wedding cake from her. Both were absolutely worth every penny. Not only were both cakes gorgeous and creative, but they tasted out of this world. I have had a few cakes that were designed and sculpted and none have actually tasted as good as they should. This is not the case with Kerry's they were amazing.... wish I lived closer to her so I could eat another peace of the strawberry with white chocolate mousse YUMMM

o when you finally get them on the phone (if they answer) it usually takes them awhile to find your information and confirm details/changes.
