o life! I sent Joy pictures of what I wanted and she made my Pinterest dreams come true. There was not a single decor piece or floral out of place. The flowers were also incredible!! My bouquet was amazing and exactly like the picture. The centerpieces were extravagant and gorgeous and the church and reception looked exactly as how I envisioned it. Day of coordination was the best money we spent for our wedding. Mini Rose Farms made the day of process SO smooth and I could not have asked for a better florist or day of coordinator. Also, she made sure to pack up leftover food for us and made sure all of the decor got back to our room without us even knowing!

y realized she was wrong, after some harsh emails from her. She didn't mention my original greenery wasn't going to be available until I asked about a certain piece. Then the day of my wedding came around and everything was wrong. They were hours late and my family had to help unload the flowers. The boutonnieres fell apart instantly. The centerpieces were so off from what we discussed; I said absolutely no pink, just purples, and there were mostly pink flowers. The centerpieces were also completely different in size. One kind had 50 flowers and the others had maybe 4 flowers. Needless to say it was all very disappointing and had I seen the flowers beforehand I would've had someone go to Trader Joe's and put something together. It's a shame when your vision doesn't come to life after all the planning and I would not recommend.

n you informed me you were getting married on Mother's Day - flowers are always more expensive on Mother's Day, and you were told that when you signed the contract. Speaking of contract, there is a line in the contract that states we will make substitutions, artistically but still in your vision, and because it was Mother's Day some of your flowers weren't available. I will note here when your mom called for a full refund saying the flowers were pink, and I agreed to send her the wholesale order sheets with all the names of the flowers guaranteeing there was nothing named pink, she changed her mind. Your original greenery, smilax, was heavily picked this year, and the grower just couldn't keep up with the demand. As much as I would like, I can't control how much the grower decides to plant. I actually called you with that information, you came to the shop for a meeting and we chose a different greenery.
Two days before your wedding, I came down with covid. I have a covid clause in the contract that would have allowed me to withdraw from your event, however I saw it through and did flowers while I was sick, and had my team in the shop doing the rest of your flowers. I find it funny how you mentioned the team was hours late, but failed to mention that they were set up on time, and I instantly refunded you back 2,000.00 for them being late.
All centerpieces had the exact number of flowers in them, except for 2, which were done larger for your family tables. Not because that was in the contract, but because we had a few leftover flowers. They definitely did not have 50 and others 4 - we have a recipe sheet we build off of.
As for your vision - I've seen the photos, which I love that you didn't post any because they would gladly show your smiling eyes behind your florals. If you weren't happy with the florals when they were dropped off, you could have chosen not to sign for them, which your day of coodinator signed and thanked my team for finishing on time even they were late. PS. They were late because they had never been to that venue, and I was sick with covid. I did my absolute best to not pull the covid clause on your wedding. Most people would not have worked through what I worked through.

Later on in the planning process, I decided I was interested in Mini Rose Farm’s day of coordination services and it was 1000% worth it. She took away so much of the stress and had our day running smoothly and on time. Joy was a life saver and even though things didn’t go exactly as planned (someone on the team became ill—I didn’t know until after), as the bride I never even noticed and Joy kept on working her butt off and everyone had an amazing time thanks to her. Oh gosh, where do I start. I called Joy during my night shift at the hospital. I had a 30 minute lunch break, and during that time, she asked for my Pinterest inspiration and my budget, and told me she could make it happen. I honestly couldn't ...
believe it was real, until I visited her shop and saw where the magic is created. On top of being my florist, Joy and her team served as my day of coordinators as well. Although she was technically hired for that day only, the entire year I was engaged, she asked every question, offered help and advice, and worked with my husband and I to turn our dreams into reality (and to adjust to the several changes I made during the year haha). The week before, day before and day of our wedding, Joy and Joe made sure that every detail was noted, and that every. single. person. involved was aware of the timeline and plans. The Suits team sent out a timeline, reached out to all vendors, family members, and wedding party members. They ran our walk-through, set up our ENTIRE venue, decorated with florals as well as drapes, linens, candles, vases, signs, and of course my specifically requested gold chargers. Day of, we didn't have to lift a finger. The Suits team and Mini Rose Floral catered to our every need. Our wedding ran on time, every one had tissues, our set-up was MORE than stunning, and even better, we formed sweet friendships with Joy, Joe and the entire Mini Rose Floral Team. I could not suggest a better duo for both florals and coordinating, and any wedding will be 100x better thanks to them!!

or the decorations, layout, and flowers. Joy was prepared with an emergency kit, made sure we ate and were well hydrated throughout the day, and flipped the spaces for the ceremony, tea ceremony, and reception quickly. During our ceremony, we found out that our wedding rings were left with our chauffeur. She immediately got in touch with them and the rings were safely returned to us during the cocktail hour. Her team helped set up the decorations, but we were disappointed that the menus we created were not displayed for guests, that the table for our tea ceremony did not have a floral arrangement, and that part of the place cards were missing for some guests including the bride and groom. When part of the decoration broke for the groom's cake earlier in the day, Joy said it would be fixed at the venue, but it was not. We were a bit caught off guard when she notified us that she would be leaving during the reception, but she informed us that her assistant would take over for the rest of the evening. After being attended to so well by Joy during the day, it was a downside for us to have to go find the assistant to check in and to find staff to refill our drinks and water. Her assistant helped pack up the decorations and placed it in our cars at the end of the night. However a number of items from the list provided to her team were not packed up, so we had to cut our time short with family the next day to go back to the venue to pick it up. At the end of the day, Joy kept us on schedule and created breathtaking florals, but many details important to us were missed.

Jenny, We did place the menus and the place cards, but the serving staff removed them because they were blowing around. We elected, with the venue, to leave them off instead of them continuing to blow around.

cake could not be fixed. I tried to glue it at the restaurant and quickly discovered the glue was not going to hold. There wasn't anything we could do to fix it even though we tried.
As for leaving early, I quickly discovered that I was severely overheated. There wasn't any place for us to get out of the heat, nor any shade to cool off in. Instead of ruining your night with my stomach issues, I left my husband, who is my assistant, with your party. The only reason you needed to look for him was because he is a type 1 diabetic and his sugar went low during your reception. Not an excuse, an explanation for what went wrong.
I'm sorry that you were not 100% thrilled. You neglected to bring any of this to my attention during or shortly after the event. The kitchen staff neglected to return the items that needed to be packed up for you that you had to go back and get. In addition, as for my leaving, your contract stated up to 12 hours - I was on site for your event for a total of 14 without charging any additional fees. I really would have appreciated your bringing all this to my attention shortly after the event so that I could have explained to this you in person.

She is so warm and personable, but also incredibly organized and fully in your corner--which is exactly who you need to be running the show on your big day. We are so thankful for all of the help and support that she and her team provided. Our floral bouquets, centerpieces, and decorations (of which she has a whole slew of) were BEAUTIFULLY designed and showcased exactly what we asked her for. She really knows how to listen to and execute your vision. Her team helped turn over our vineyard venue into a wedding wonderland in a very short amount of time, and our ceremony and reception ran like clockwork. She had an emergency kit, gave us food and water during pictures, had our drinks and snacks ready during cocktail hour, made sure we ate our dinner, and overall made sure that the entire night ran smoothly. We had to unfortunately postpone due to Covid and Joy was so flexible. She wanted to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. Due to the postponement, we were engaged for over 30 month and Joy made sure any changes and updates were made without issue. She understood a vision might have needed tweaks and changes. She also was able to adapt everything we were going to have indoors to be used outdoors (sincef we adjusted to having the event fully outside for health concerns).
She is also so reasonably priced. We talked to many florist and couldn’t get close to the what we got from her for the price. Joy also was able to make great suggestions to utilize the space, maximize the value of the flowers, and ensure we got what we wanted.

but because of COVID, we had room in the budget with our smaller numbers, so we booked Joy. What a spectacular surprise that decision ended up being. Joy took my vision and multiplied it 10 folds into such beautiful floral arrangements. Joy even helped out the day after the wedding when one of our coolers sprung a leak and leaked onto the second floor of our venue. They are passionate about helping people and genuinely enjoy weddings, so they took amazing care over their work. They also went far and above what we expected - Joy and Joe helped out a month before the wedding confirming venders, arrival times, and their payments, as well as meeting with us for the rehearsal to understand our vision for the day. Throughout the entire planning process Joy took careful notes and checked them often to make sure every detail we planned was executed perfectly. Joe also has a wonderful stylistic vision - he found the perfect spots for pre-wedding photos, and helped decorate our venue exactly as we dreamed. And even when things went wrong, the pair took care of it; when they walked in to our venue the morning of the wedding they saw the caterer from the night before didn't finish cleaning, they took garbage bags to finish the job before we even arrived. Truly, my husband and I could not have imagined a more perfect or hard working team. We had one hundred percent confidence they would take care of any problem, so they were the reason my family and I were able to fully relax and enjoy the day.

The pictures the next day were better they were at least in the right general directing but she also basically told me that what I wasn't liking with the bouquets was how it was supposed to be and it would not be changing at which point I gave up and just started saying everything looked good because this was not what I wanted to be dealing with the day before my wedding.
My bridal bouquet started to fall apart as soon as I picked it up nothing was properly secured. By the end of the ceremony it was half it's original size. Each bouquet and garland had to be fixed by my grandmother. The really cool "cactus flower" she got so excited about and replaced other flowers We had ordered with was a badly spray painted succulent that flaked the paint off by the end of the ceremony on each item it was used with. I ended up throwing everything away.
