As your wedding officiant, I will stand with you and affirm your love in a private ceremony or in front of your beloved community. I take this job very seriously and will put my heart and soul into creating the ceremony of your dreams.
Your ceremony can be steeped in your personal religious traditions or completely non religious, it’s up to you. I am not affiliated with any specific religious denomination. My job is to share your love story, through the ceremony.
I earned my Doctorate Degree and wrote my dissertation on the positive effects of ceremonies within relationships. My research found that when couples have weddings, they are more likely to stay together longer, be happier and have more social support. Most of the couples I marry come from different religious backgrounds. I create ceremonies that express the background of both partners, regardless of faith.

isfying connection from her from our first phone call. All that the other reviews have mentioned -- her caring attitude, time spent in understanding what I had in mind, attention to detail, professionalism, warmth -- were all outstanding.
Without an official SRF script, I wrote the ceremony myself from the writings of our Guru, Paramahansa Yogananda. It explained a little about SRF for the guests who didn't belong to SRF. It also contained some passages on love from the New Testament and our Guru's ideas on spiritual marriage.
Deb was really good with the editing of it to a manageable level where I had been too verbose. She understands what audiences relate to.
She also faced another challenge during the ceremony as I wanted a friend, Judy, to translate it simultaneously for my guests who spoke only Spanish. Deb would pause after a few sentences and allow her to repeat it in Spanish. Judy had already done the translation, so she was reading it. It all flowed very nicely.
I received many compliments from my guests about how beautiful the ceremony was. Deb is without equal in my opinion. There was nothing that was ever a problem; it was lovely thanks to her coordination, skill, and experience.

In the few meetings we had with us she somehow got to the core of our relationship, and designed a beautiful, personal ceremony around that. It was as if she has known us for years. Planning a wedding can be stressful... being LGBTQ+ and planning a wedding can also add to a lot of that stress, especially in finding vendors, etc. that are not only accepting to our community, but also understand the complexities of it. Deb met all of our criteria. If you are looking for someone to marry you and your significant other who embodies what our community stands for-compassion, pride, inclusion, and most importantly, LOVE, who will take the time to get to know you and your partner and tailor your ceremony to you, who is there for whatever you need throughout the entire process, and who is an all around amazing person, Minister Deb is your person. Deb is not like many other ministers out there aiming to financially gain and monopolize on same sex couples falsely representing our community, instead she has fought for our right to marry and continues to be an advocate for our community.

We found Minister Deb through one of our friends who used her services last year. I can't imagine using anyone else! Minister Deb met with us right away and got to know our story. She asked us all about our relationship, how we met and wanted to know all about us. You can tell this woman knows her stuff! She actually went to Theology School and was trained to write very personal ceremonies. She is not religious, but understands different denominations and is integrating her knowledge into our ceremony.
