Alicia is the best photographer on the planet. When thinking about a wedding photographer, the person who is going to capture your special day, you want someone who is very good at their job. She captured our wedding and engagement day so perfectly. Literally our pictures were breathtaking. She uses film and digital and this makes for some perfect photos. Alicia has photographed both my wedding and my sisters wedding events and we could not be more thrilled to have her as our photographer. She exceeded all of our expectations. She knows how to work with lighting, work around vendors, and she makes sure that things run smoothly as far as photos go. She will come early to scope out the best spots for pictures or she usually knows prior to the day of. Thank you Alicia for capturing the best day of my life so perfectly!

What to say about Alicia. Honestly, no review could do her justice, but I'm going to try: Alicia is much more than a photographer, and if you're planning a wedding you might not realize why that's so important. Having a full blown photoshoot where you have to be super open and lovey and gushy in a crowded area can be super overwhelming! You obviously don't want it to look too staged, but it is staged, and there can be a lot of pressure. Alicia gets rid of that right away. She holds the space to create a real laid back, romantic, and genuine experience and made us both feel like models during our engagement shoot. We shot on a crowded beach, but it still felt very romantic and personal, and a lot of that has to do with Alicia's subtle cueing! Also, she's a photoshop genius so if there are other people around, they won't be in the photos. On our wedding day Alicia went above and beyond. She got to the venue early and took gorgeous shots of all the details before I even arrived. My family and friends loved her, and I couldn't have imagined a better energy I wanted (literally) following us around on our day. That's so important at a wedding! The pictures she delivered are gorgeous, and I'm happy I have so many great pics to choose for my album. Honestly, Alicia is just good vibes. She made me realize how important it is to really LIKE your vendors, and she's impossible not to like. One day I'll probably try to bribe her to do some other romantic shoot, just for fun. :)

We are from Texas, and booked an engagement session with Alicia on a whim after deciding we wanted to travel for them. My fiance is "allergic" to cameras, and even he had a great time! Alicia is fantastic and we got so many great photos we loved. She was so sweet to help us incorporate personal touches in our photos, including going out of her way so we could have pictures of us with boba/bubble tea (we're going to have a boba bar at our wedding LOL). You will definitely be happy if you book Alicia for your photography, and I am so happy we had her take our photos--I'd highly recommend her!

We booked Alicia for our engagement photo session. She was very professional, flexible, and personable. Your session with her will be a good time! Taking photos can be intimidating but she's makes you feel very comfortable. Her on-the-fly creativity is awesome and she has great photoshop skills! She can make anything look nice. Our photos came out excellent andshe gave us an abundance of final-edited shots. Alicia has very fair and reasonable rates and I would recommend her to my close friends and family.

Alicia Mink is amazing! From the moment my husband and I met her we knew she was the perfect photographer for us. She put us at ease and made the awkward photography feeling go away quickly. The ways she uses light and find natural poses is amazing. You'll be so happy you went with her!

We were lucky to find Mink Photography here on The Knot after meeting with and feeling disheartened by a few commercial studios. From our first communication to our first meeting with Alicia, we felt like we were all old friends. She is warm, kind, genuine and an expert in her field. She managed the impossible in making us feel prepared for both our engagement shoot, and our wedding day while in the midst of the tornado of planning. We were provided with ample information on what to expect, what to bring, how to pose naturally, and more. Both of our photo packages are shockingly beautiful and full of diversity; not any one photo is the same as the last. Alicia captures the perfect shot with the perfect lighting with every snap of her camera, because she truly knows how to use her equipment rather than relying on a ton of post editing. She also exudes a love for the craft as well, and that can really draw in an inspire even the most novice and sometimes awkward of subject models (us! haha!). We are certain we will continue to work with Alicia for any and all of our photography needs, forever!

Choosing Alicia as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made regarding our recent wedding. Not only is she an amazing photographer but her personality made her a package deal. Easily, hands down, my most favorite vendor to work with for our wedding from start to finish! Alicia was so kind and thoughtful to us during the whole experience, she went above and beyond and we can't thank her enough! Not only did she do an amazing engagement session in San Diego while we were in town (we live in Hawaii, got married in Ohio, and she made it all happen), but then she flew across the country to Ohio to do our wedding! She makes everything so easy and relaxed. Her work is simply beautiful. Her ability to capture the day start to finish and for literally every image to be amazing still has me at a loss for words. Not to mention, it poured down rain and Alicia remained calm and so positive, stayed with us all day, and still managed to get amazing pictures of everything! Alicia exceeded all our expectations! If you are looking for someone to capture the true essence of your wedding day look no further! She took the time to meet us at our venue before the wedding to find the best places to shoot, which in turn made the day run smoothly. In a day full of chaos Alicia made us feel at ease, relaxed and natural. Our pictures are stunning, and really captured who we were as a couple! Alicia blew our engagement photos out of the water! We wanted something different, nontraditional, and fun; and our session was all of those things. She made us feel comfortable and really brought my fiancé out of his shell. She captured real moments for us. We shot in Casper Park and the outcome was breath taking.

The photo shoot was so relaxing and fun. Alicia didn't waste anytime between shots to make sure we took advantage of every minute of our shoot and made sure we had a large variety or angles and scenery. Amazing!

We used Mink Photography for both our engagement and wedding day photos. Both time turned out great and beyond our expectation. The photos are gorgeous and Alicia is a true artist in capturing all the special moments. Alicia is very down to earth and really easy to communicate with. She's super fast at email responding which is a big plus. She listens to the type of shots we want and also gave really good suggestions. Her price is very reasonable. You get high quality photos without breaking the bank. How awesome can it get? We would definitely work with her again on future special events and would recommend her to anyone who's looking for a great photographer.

Alicia is seriously amazing! She goes above + beyond and snaps some seriously gorgeous photos. She captured our elopement on Huntington Beach in September and did a fabulous job. She arrived on time, prepared, with plenty of ideas, and was very sweet. Our photos came out PERFECT and I am so happy! She even kept us sane when our officiant was an hour late. I would recommend Alicia to anyone!

First off I want to say that Alicia was by far our favorite vendor that we worked with during our wedding back in March 2015. And trust me, we had a lot of great vendors. So when I say that ish it means this one goes ABOVE & BEYOND folks. Alicia is so friendly, funny and easy going all while being extremely calm and professional, kinda like a fighter pilot. We really did feel a sense of comfort when shooting with Alicia and at the same time like we were just hanging out with a good friend. She is our friendographer. 4life. Every shot from our engagement shoot all the way to the wedding, Alicia shot with the intention to capture the look, feel and location that WE wanted. She really took the time to understand what/who and where we wanted shots on the day of the wedding and it showed. I clearly remember during all the mix of the wedding day seeing her, she was so on point and showing no signs of pressure, moving us from one location to the next, swapping out the family members for the bridal party, shooting the entire time, all the while never breakin a sweat or raising her voice or nothing. And then, all of a sudden the wedding was over, and in what seemed like 2 days she was already sending us our photos in waves. I thought it'd be weeks to months but I was literally sending family photos the following week. It was really great because everyone was so excited still and happy to get the photos. She really slam dunked it and we couldn't be happier. Seriously, if you are looking for any type of photography you've come to the right place because Alicia is the right person. The photos aren't just the amazing part, you really will enjoy working with her and becoming friends. I can't say that about some of the other vendors we used those bastards.
