ur plan. Rev. Kiewatt was nothing but amazing! We had such prompt emails discussing our plan immediately. He guided us through the whole wedding ceremony process and gave us lots of tips. On the day of the wedding, Rev. Kiewatt came an hour early to meet everyone and gave us a chance to rehearse the ceremony twice before the guests started arriving. Thanks to Rev. Kiewatt, the ceremony was very professional and organized!!!! So for all the brides looking for an officiant, Rev. Kiewatt has all my votes!

He had material for us to choose from, or was happy to have us use our own. He was able to guide and direct without a lot of opportunity to practice. He was fun and added a romantic intimate feel to our event that was heart felt. His humor was appropriate and perfectly timed. He was absolutely the best choice and really helped set the tone for a very beautiful day for my family.

Derek came over to our apartment for a couple sessions, and it was so fun to see how my fiance and I responded to questions, different assessments, etc. And more than fun, it was meaningful. Rev. Derek was a great facilitator through it all and we are so happy we chose him!

He is comfortable with a variety of wedding ceremony styles (we did a combination of traditional, with some Jewish elements, but overall not a strongly religious ceremony) and was receptive to everything we asked of him, and if we were not sure how to approach a topic, Derek provided us wonderful options and selections of vows and other readings and elements for the ceremony. The premarital education was also very insightful and he helped us discover many unique elements about us as individuals, how we related to each other, how we saw ourselves, and how we viewed each other, that we will be able to take with us in our married life. We enjoyed our time planning and learning with Derek, and are so grateful he was a part of our ceremony.
