Creative, laid back, fun, genuine and kind. If you want these things you need to pick Cara Tollefson from Wedding Officiants. She really is a gem. She helped us create a lovely mem...
orable ceremony.
We made the best decision for our wedding ceremony when we chose Cara Tollefson as our officiant! She was so easy to talk to and always easy to get in touch with, even when I took ...
forever to respond! She helped make our ceremony absolutely beautiful and gave us all the tools needed to create a ceremony all our own. If you want a seamless, beautiful ceremony, you definitely want to choose Cara!
I can’t even count the number of compliments we received on our ceremony. Many of our loved ones said it was the most personal, unique ceremony they have ever been to, and that is ...
all thanks to Jill Englund.
Jill helped us navigate and blend so many different wishes for our wedding ceremony, like balancing religious and non-religious elements. My husband’s family is Spanish-speaking, and Jill helped us infuse some bilingual elements into our ceremony, as well — even learning some Spanish herself for our vows! At her suggestion, we honored both of our parents with a rose in honor of their longstanding marriages, and that was one of the most special parts of the ceremony, very meaningful and unique. My most favorite part of the ceremony was the Love Story. Jill worked with us separately as we wrote out answers to some questions about our relationship, and then Jill fused our stories and told them in real-time during the ceremony, keeping our reflections private from each other until that moment. It was so touching and special, and felt so meaningfully true to our story. She nailed it!
It was incredibly helpful to have Jill present at our rehearsal the evening before. She was very efficient and took control of our chatty bridal party of 16 people, ensuring we ran through every detail and felt prepared for the wedding day. Throughout the entire planning process, whether via Zoom or email, she helped my husband and I feel at ease and understood. Jill has a special gift, and we are so grateful that she shared it with us. I could not have imagined a more perfect ceremony.

ceremony so every second felt personal. We had two meetings with her via Zoom before the big day so we could get to know her and talk about the details. She made sure to go over every step of the ceremony with us and explained the process of filing the marriage certificate. Most importantly, she delivered our ceremony beautifully and with love- even including a moment of silence to honor my mother who had recently passed away. Jill was the BEST and we’d recommend her to anyone!

r info, we were matched with Cara—and we’re so glad we were.
We were a little stressed since we hired her just two months before the wedding, but Cara made everything so smooth and easy. Her emails and planning documents were super detailed and helped guide us every step of the way.
At the rehearsal, she made the process simple for my family—even with a big wedding party and lots of people walking down the aisle. She kept everything calm and organized.
If you're looking for a smooth, stress-free experience, I highly recommend hiring Cara Tollefson as your officiant. She’s a true professional and so easy to work with!
Cara did such a great job with our ceremony! It’s a daunting thing to figure out how your wedding ceremony should go if you’re wanting to do something secular and personal. I’m so ...
glad we ultimately decided to work with a pro rather than putting that pressure on a friend or family member. The guide booklet that MN Officiants provides is so helpful as a “choose your own adventure” for customizing a ceremony that feels right to you as a couple. Cara was also so great in coaching us as we wrote our own vows (right up to the last minute - eek!). Just the right balance of encouragement, nudging and patience! She helped us add so much heart and was a trusted editor helping us make sure it didn’t run too long. Everything ran smoothly and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
Jason Jorgensen was our officiant, and he did a great job for our small wedding! He helped make it personal (our guests told us how much they liked the ceremony) and included some ...

Minnesota Officiants, Jason Jorgensen in particular, were so helpful in making our wedding celebration memorable. After meeting with my partner and I to make sure we were a good fi...
t, Jason provided excellent guidance on curating our wedding ceremony so that it was everything we wanted to celebrate our meaningful commitment. His friendly personality and easy-going nature made the whole process go smoothly and the ceremony he delivered was heartfelt and memorable. There was no detail unaccounted for, including matching his wardrobe to our wedding colors and having extra printed copies for our reader to use at the ceremony. Jason went above and beyond to help my partner and I with our wedding celebrations and made sure we were officially set to begin life’s next adventures.
Nancy Lindgren was so wonderful to work with. She officiated our wedding, which was non-religious and included a handfasting ceremony. In preparation, she listened to all of our id...

Even though we did a small, private elopement, I felt like she gave us the care, attention, and consideration that you might expect for a larger ceremony. On the day of, Nancy's energy and delivery of the ceremony was beautiful and warm. It was a pleasure to work with her and I'd highly suggest her services.

about all the things my husband and I love about each other. People were stunned by it - they thought he was a family member or that we somehow knew each other outside of him being our officiant. Thank you so much Allan for being such a wonderful part of our wedding!

essional, and truly made sure we felt taken care of, throughout the entire process. Cara worked with us to include a sentimental piece of faith into our ceremony, and helped us with any questions we had throughout the way. Our family couldn’t stop talking about how sweet, thoughtful, and well delivered the ceremony was. I would sincerely recommend Cara to anyone thinking about using these services.

let us completely write out how we wanted the ceremony to go and what we wanted to be said while providing amazing feedback and recommendations all along the way. She came for a rehearsal the night before, and then our ceremony felt like a dream day-of because it went so smoothly. That was absolutely due to Cara’s experience and calm reassurance! We couldn’t thank her enough!

We were able to customize the many suggestions Jill offered but also had the option of simply choosing readings and blessings from the extensive resource manual they provide. We would highly recommend Jill and Minnesota Officiants to others looking for seasoned professionals with a personal touch!

She was kind from start to finish- first speaking with us over the phone, then meeting us face-to-face for coffee, and finally being present to coordinate our rehearsal. ation we needed. Cara made sure we were aware we could reach out to her anytime with any questions, which really put us at ease. Her email respond was always prompt. When we met her for the rehearsal, immediately upon meeting her face to face, we knew we had made the right decision. She was lighthearted, joyful, fun, kind hearted and engaged in the process. She offered suggestions that we took and ran with and they ended up being the highlights in our ceremony. Cara reminded us that she would guide us through the process and not to worry, but to enjoy our day. She did guide us, she was calm - Cara simply was the best! We simply cannot say enough great things about her. Thank you, Cara!!!! For a really great day!

We very much appreciated her guidance and calm demeaner, especially when I mistakenly forgot the printed readings and the marriage certificate. Goodness, what was I thinking?? (I guess it will be memorable)
The ceremony was perfect!
Thanks again, Jill, for your assistance in making our day so successful and special.

e wedding day! Her experience helping couples craft weddings that match their personalities and beliefs showed through in every part of our planning and preparations. She took the time to get to know us, our likes and dislikes, and our hopes for the occasion, and then she provided us just the right amount of help to pull it all together. She suggested a basic framework for the ceremony and then let us fill in as much of the content as we wanted. And on the day of the event, Jill offered so many great suggestions to help us make sure it all came together smoothly–she even thought about details like holding her ceremony book in her hands rather than using a podium, because it looks better in the photos. And she’s such a lovely person! We so appreciated that her calming presence helped everyone about to take part in the ceremony to feel ready and confident. We had a beautiful wedding all around, and Jill played a big role in making that happen!

onal. Minnesota Officiants gave us a lot of great resources for building our Ceremony, and we worked with Allan Lindgren to put it all together. Our family and friends raved about our Ceremony and I would definitely recommend Minnesota Officiants and Allan Lindgren.

created the most beautiful ceremony we could have imagined. Cara is so professional, kind, and passionate about helping couples. We chose a ritual that was special to us, but did not quite know what direction to take to describe the ritual during the ceremony. Cara took extra time to help us come up with wording and an explanation that was absolutely perfect. During the rehearsal, Cara took time to go through the ceremony until we felt comfortable and confident. Once it was time for the real ceremony, Cara did an amazing job of picking up on uncertainty and subtly guiding us so the ceremony flowed beautifully. s special with only 20 guests as it would’ve been with 150. With Cara’s guidance, we were able to turn our wedding into an intimate, romantic ceremony that was so very “us”, which was reinforced by our guests telling us how wonderful it was, and that it is a wedding they wouldn’t forget :) The information packets Cara provided us in the beginning were extremely helpful in organizing our ceremony and the examples were great starting points to help us write out our ceremony. She was very receptive to our ideas, provided great feedback, and helped us create our own wedding “ritual” that everyone loved. She helped us make our ceremony absolutely everything we wanted it to be! Not only that, Cara is extremely sweet and personable and SO easy to talk to, and quick to respond to our questions. Talking over our ceremony with Cara the day before our wedding put our minds at ease immediately. It was incredibly easy and stress-free with Cara’s help! If we could go back in time, we’d pick her again and again.
