middle of Muncie. We planned to have our ceremony on the Oakhurst Patio but then moved inside to the Hackley Gallery due to rain. Our reception was right across the hall in one of the main Galleries. We paid $300 for the ceremony site and $1000 for reception site. We also rented both the large and small conference rooms all day to use as the men's and women's dressing rooms, which worked well. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience with Minnetrista. There are many perks to having an event here, such as free parking, availability of on-site catering, tables/chairs included with most rental spaces, and many extra items (tablecloths, arbors, candle holders, etc.) available for rent. The events coordinator, Kacie Morgan, was knowledgeable, flexible, reasonable, and fun to work with - she practically served as our wedding planner free of charge! She is a little hard to reach by phone, though, so it's best to email her. I would recommend Minnetrista to any bride looking for a garden wedding, a smaller indoor ceremony site, or a simple elegant reception hall.

e for beautiful photos. It was awesome having our ceremony and reception on the same site, making transportation much easier for us and our guests. Plus, the price was very competitive. I would definitely recommend Minnetrista for other brides to consider.
The main issues I came across were my frustrations with not being able to use the bridal suite until 2pm that day, and I am not local to Muncie, so we had to get ready at home and drive to Minnetrista after we were all ready. This caused some stress due to time constraints. I would have much rather been able to arrive there early that morning for us to get ready on site and feel more relaxed on day of. Also, I had to really fight to be able to decorate the reception hall the night before. My coordinator tried to have us decorate our tables and entrance way the day of. We had lots of DIY crafts and special items that took time to put together and transport, and I didn't want to put that all on my husband to do as we could not be there to get ready that day since we couldn't get into the building until 2pm. It was very frustrating. Luckily we were able to squeeze in about an hour or two before our rehearsal the night before to decorate what we could. The rest had to be done by my husband and his groomspeople on the day of. The personality of our coordinator was so much different than my own, so communication was a frustrating factor on my end too. She was really awesome on rehearsal and wedding day, so I was overall pleased with working with her. All in all, it was the perfect day and I definitely would recommend Minnetrista.

The garden was very well maintained and looked gorgeous on our big day, and the gallery was perfect and romantic with the soft lighting and linens hanging from the ceiling. They were always available via phone or email to answer any questions we had and did a great job coordinating with our vendors to make the whole day flawless.
They took great care of us!! Everything went very smoothly and they were such a great help through the planning process and the day of the wedding. They are also very affordable!

ail or phone call that I had.. even for tiny questions. We had out reception at another location, but if I would have known from the beginning how wonderful Minnetrista's staff was, we would have done everything here. It rained on our wedding day until 5:45 pm (ceremony at 6:30), and they were all very patient with our decisions to wait a little longer to call it for our alternative location. And at 5:45 when the sun came out, they helped wipe off chairs and finish decorations. I would recommend them to any Muncie bride!
