paid her a 50% retainer of $2,250.00. Once the pandemic hit the US, I reached out to Mioara to proactively reschedule our wedding. After a few weeks of exchanges, we rescheduled for August 2, 2020 after she informed me she would be available that month. On July 2nd, 2020 (remaining payment date) we reached out to Mioara Dragan to confirm if we were still on for August 2nd 2020. We then had a phone call where she indicated that she called the MI Governor’s office on to inquire on our venue (without fully understanding the COVID-19 protocols and guidelines we were adhering to) & decided to part ways because we could tell she was uncomfortable. The last thing we wanted to do was make someone do something they were uncomfortable with which in turn would also make us feel uncomfortable on our wedding day. After our wedding (because we did not want to deal with the additional stress during the wedding process), We reached out to Mioara to inquire on receiving our 50% retainer back since she did not provide us with the services outlined in her pre COVID-19 contract. She never sent us an updated contract to reflect our rescheduled date. She indicated she would not be able to and after some back and forth, offered to do a lifestyle shoot/maternity shoot for us prior to November 2021. Immediately after, she blocked us and extended family members (who had nothing to do with our working relationship with Mioara) on social media indicating she wanted to avoid us and not work with us. Upon being blocked and not knowing our rights, we sought the assistance and guidance of a professional law office and attorney. We decided not to further contact her personally and allow the professionals to handle a resolution. The attorney sent her a settlement demand letter where we offered to settle for a way lesser amount just to peacefully close this case. Mioara Dragan ignored the settlement demand letter via her business email address and via postal service at the address her business is listed under. After her ignoring the settlement demand letter, we learned that as clients of Mioara Dragan, we had Legal Rights in the State of MI to begin a Small Claims Court filing. Over the last several of months, Mioara Dragan has ignored two court summons that have been sent to her from the court resulting in the cancellation of two court hearings set forth with a judge to mediate and come to a resolution of the nearly yearlong situation. As a business owner that should practice integrity and ethics, I am not sure how Mioara believes she is in the right for this retainer when we had been dealing with a once in a lifetime pandemic that occurred 2 months before our wedding date. Last year was so difficult for us (as it was for all couples) and every vendor had empathy for our situation except Mioara. From what I hear through industry contacts and reputable photographers, other clients of hers in 2020 have been trying to contact her the same way and she is ignoring them without providing the retainers back. That could all be hearsay – but the way in which she has handled our demand letter and small court summons leads me to believe she is avoiding other clients who could have possibly been going through the same situation. It is unfortunate that our working relationship did not work out.

minute I met her. She gave us the perfect amount of direction, and at the same time, just did her thing, and unlike other photographers, she wasn't a distraction at all. She gave us our pictures back in a timely manner, and the wedding album we recently received is gorgeous! I met with quite a few other photographers when deciding who to book for our wedding, and no other photographer offered such a perfect package either. Ours included an engagement session, unlimited hours on the wedding day, which was super helpful since we had a full Catholic mass, a second photographer, tons of pictures, and the album. We can't thank Mioara enough for capturing our day so perfectly and for helping make our day go as smoothly as possible. We feel so lucky to have these pictures for years to come. (We are both camera shy, but Mioara put us completely at ease). We had so much fun and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. We will cherish the photos and memories Mioara captured forever. She flew out to NYC where we were living at the time to shoot our engagement photos which turned out absolutely amazing. Since Mioara was travelling to DC for our wedding, she allowed us to use one of our photographer friends as her second shooter to help us save on hotel/airfare. They got along great and met the day before the wedding to tour the venue the perfect spots to shoot. The day of our wedding, Mioara was great at managing our large party. She captured some of the most beautiful pictures I couldn't have imagined. We were more than pleased with how great our photos turned out and received so many compliments from our friends and family. y! I had some pretty specific ideas for our engagement shoot that I was nervous would not come out the way I pictured in my head. Mioara is like a mind reader! She took our ideas and ran with them. I knew then that we were in good hands. For our wedding day, she went above and beyond (at one point, literally scaling a ten foot wall for the perfect shot!). She spent the whole day with us from start to finish and would not leave until I felt completely satisfied that we had gotten every shot I wanted. She caught so many gorgeous candid moments that would have just been lost in the hustle and bustle of the day without her dedicated and professional eye. Everyone who sees our pictures has been awestruck by them! She is truly an ARTIST. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. She made the process so easy and stress-free. We are beyond grateful for her and recommend her to everyone we know that is getting married. If you are seeking perfection, look no further! I wish I could give her 100 stars!

so incredibly thankful to have come across Mioara's information on The Knot. Mioara is probably one of my top three favorite things from my wedding that I truly was excited about. Her personality is super bubbly, kind and humble. My husband and I are incredibly awkward people in front of a camera and she works with it completely and makes our pictures look amazing. fter meeting Miora I had to have her with me on our wedding day. She's so relaxed, fun and just wonderful to be around. The wedding day came and she was perfectly on time and started shooting some beautiful candied shots, which turned out to be some of my favorites. She really captured ever moment perfectly. And when it came to the "staged" photos they did not seem forced or awkward at all! We laughed and smiled and joked around and during that time she caught some of the most beautiful photos that a true representation of us. Throughout the day she just felt like a friend, checking on me, snapping photos and just was a joy to be around. I'm blessed I found her!

The icing on the cake was definitely our wedding album. In an unbiased opinion it is by far the most beautiful and well put together wedding album I have seen to date. We had a couple timeline run-ins along the way but Mioara more than made up for this by giving us more images than we were allotted in our package. She is thoughtful and detailed and I am so happy with our final results.

o on a personal level when it came to photographing my wedding! I was able to discuss ideas, details, my favorite angles with her, she was so open to ideas and easy to work with. Of course she also brought her creative skills to the table, all while making my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera! Even if we weren't friends before, I have no doubt that we would have become fast friends just by booking her! We are very happy with our wedding photos and love to look through them and remember our day like it was yesterday! We wouldn't have been able to do that without our beautiful, kind-hearted, talented friend, Mioara!

I didnt know what kind of pictures I wanted for my wedding, It was a very hard thing for me to decide but Mioara came up with wonderful ideas and now when I look back at my pictures im still in awe of them.
