store. When I realized I needed to try the veils on with my dress to make a decision, they were excited to help me make an appointment for the next day and welcome me back! At my second appointment, I was alone, but they helped me into my dress (which I bought elsewhere) and put each of the veils into my hair without pressuring me to make a purchase. In the end, I walked out with the most beautiful and delicate veil, alongside a pair of natural pearl earrings. The shop itself is beautiful and boasts a mix of local, handmade bridal items and incredibly sourced vintage wedding dresses, accessories, and jewelry pieces. My mom and bridesmaids had no trouble with it and it stayed put all night. They were also incredibly accommodating, because when I hired them, my wedding plans were in disarray due to the pandemic, and I wasn't sure exactly when my wedding date would actually be, besides "soon." It had all of the characteristics I wanted (a button up back, short sleeves, and ball gown style) and on top of that, the dress was vintage from the 1950's! My mom and I bought it then and there, 2 years before the wedding. When it came to fittings, Miranda and her staff were super polite, caring, and friendly. Unsurprisingly, 2 years after buying it the dress didn't quite fit anymore but, Miranda did a fantastic job with the alterations. I got so many compliments on the dress during and after the wedding. I wish I had found this place while I was looking for wedding dresses - they have an amazing collection of vintage dresses!
While this shop had some cool dresses, I came here on a mission for wedding accessories. I came away with the coolest vintage pearl bracelet for only $30. They have a really neat selection of vintage and new, and the prices are very fair!

e. My wife says she wasn't even able to envision what possibilities there were for the dress. When it was finished it was totally beyond her expectations and so much better than what she could imagine. My wife said it was like magic the way they were able to transform it into something so beautiful.
The wedding guests loved the picture of her mother in the same dress all those years ago at our wedding reception. No one could believe that my beautiful bride was wearing that same dress! What a difference!
Our advice is to keep an open mind to the possibilities, because it is hard to imagine the incredible work Miranda's can do.
Miranda did alterations for me on my wedding dress, which originally belonged to my mother. She did a beautiful job. She was very creative, suggesting a few minor changes that updated the dress perfectly without really significantly changing it...
. (My mom liked some of the changes better than the original look.) Miranda was very flexible and accommodating to our schedules, perfectly professional, and very friendly. I hate shopping for clothes, and the atmosphere in places like David's Bridal nearly gives me an anxiety attack. But at Miranda's, I was comfortable and relaxed. (As was my maid-of-honor, who feels the same way about wedding-related retail shopping.) I wasn't actually buying a wedding dress from Miranda, since I was wearing my mom's, but my maid-of-honor and I checked out the beautiful gowns in her store and oohed and aahhhed over them more than once when we were there - she finds beautiful pieces, and not just wedding gowns. I bought a rehearsal dinner dress from her - something I wasn't planning on buying at all, but found in her shop and couldn't resist. My maid-of-honor bought her dress for my wedding from Miranda and loved it so much that she wore it as her own wedding dress months later (hooray, she used it again!). And my mom had Miranda do her mother-of-the-bride dress alterations. We were all really happy with all the work that she did, the products she sold us, and the time we spent in her company. In short, if you like vintage fashion... if the thought of shopping for a wedding dress makes you experience shortness of breath... if you don't like the cookie-cutter strapless/bling look that currently dominates bridal fashion... if you don't want your wedding dress made in a sweatshop... or if you just want a beautiful unique gown that is perfect for you and just for you, give Miranda's shop in Tremont a look. ome lovely vintage dresses that had been updated. Of course, the shops that did the alterations were in other states. Then, I decided to do a search for vintage alterations in Cleveland, and I came across Miranda's Vintage Bridal. I looked at her facebook page and got super excited, because this was EXACTLY what I wanted. The shop in Tremont is lovely, but you wouldn't notice it if you weren't looking for it, because there is no sign in the window. Miranda is incredibly sweet and very good at what she does. I was very happy with how the dress turned out, and Miranda was very good about working around my schedule for appointments. If you are looking for someone you can trust to handle your precious heirloom, or just to do your alterations right the first time, go see Miranda!

o that I could have one of her lovely dresses. However I bought my rehearsal dinner dress at her shop and Miranda altered my wedding dress. Both dresses fit perfectly. Everyone commented about how they looked like they were made for me.
Miranda was extremely kind and gracious. At least twice while I was having dinner at Bac next door, I stopped by with friends to show them Miranda's Vintage Bridal just because I love it so much. Each time she was welcoming as we oohed and aahed over all of the goodies.
I can't say enough good things about this shop and I highly recommend it. I am sad my wedding is finished and I don't have a reason to stop by any more. Maybe I will have to just check out her new social occasion dresses every once in a while.

Miranda Park, owner and founder of Miranda's Vintage Bridal and Alterations, has over 17 years experience in the bridal industry working as the lead seamstress for a Cleveland-area boutique before founding Miranda’s Vintage Bridal in 2012. She is an award-winning graduate of the Kent State Fashion School with a bachelor's degree in fine and professional arts, majoring in fashion design.
In addition to sewing, Miranda has also always had a love of all things vintage. Miranda is proud to offer brides a thoughtfully curated collection of vintage and modern wedding gowns
