We had our rehearsal dinner/ welcome party at Mirbeau and the bridal party got ready in one of their gorgeous suites. I honestly cannot recommend Mirbeau highly enough! Everything was wonderful and Sarah and team were all attentive, kind, and thoughtful.
Henri-Marie was the perfect spot to kick off our weekend. We started with an intimate rehearsal dinner and then opened up the space to all of our guests for a welcome party. It is so amazing how the space perfectly fit such differently-sized events! The food and staff were incredible, and we all had so much fun.
Staying at Mirbeau was such an incredible choice. I could not get over how accommodating everyone was! I truly felt like I got "the bride experience." Everyone I met was offering to help in some way and offered us well wishes. All of our guests who stayed at Mirbeau also remarked on how beautiful the site was.
I am SO happy we were able to take pictures on property! It is such a beautifully manicured site and every detail is accounted for. We cannot wait to visit again soon!
My quest to find the perfect wedding venue was akin to prince charming's quest to find Cinderella; it took a lot of tries to find just the perfect fit. In my case, I interviewed over 30 venues before I found the most spectacular destination to begin my happily ever after.
Nestled in the Pinehills lies new england’s best kept secret; Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth. Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth offers the charm, warmth, and elegance of a boutique french estate as well as world class hospitality and wellness retreat capabilities that rival much larger and well known brands. In 2023 Forbes awarded Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth four stars. I whole heartedly agree with their assessment of this unique property as my experience as both a resort guest and bride-to-be has been nothing short of exemplary.
The facilities are immaculate, the grounds picturesque, and the dining best classified as fine dining without a gourmet price tag. When thinking of Mirbeau, two words that come to mind are “delightful” and “seasonal”. The menu in both the dining room and spa are carefully crafted with seasonality in mind. For your first trip to Mirbeau, I highly recommend splurging in the full experience. Treat yourself to a long weekend away with your honey or gal pals. Indulge in more than one treatment in the spa, wear your bathrobe to the dining room and ask for a popover even at lunch. Dessert is a must; you must partake in any of the magical confections prepared by the on-site pastry chef. Plan to sleep in as you are assured a rejuvenating night’s rest in the most comfortable of hotel beds. You won’t be disappointed!
When it comes to planning your wedding, know that Suzanne and team are truly invested in your success. Expect generosity, accommodation, and attention to detail throughout the process. They will help you fulfill everything you never knew you always wanted in a wedding and then some. They will pay attention to the details so you don’t have to and execute your big day flawlessly.
From the moment I arrived on my wedding weekend to my departure, my family and I were treated like VIPs. I absolutely adored the mimosa at check in and breakfast as well as the thoughtful card and gift basket in my suite. Additionally, I received outstanding feedback from the most difficult of critics; my mother, on her experience working with Suzanne and Taylor in sales and Jim at the front desk. The team did an amazing job accommodating both my mother’s dietary needs and physical restrictions. Some highlights of her stay were her meals, including salmon and lobster salad, as well as her time spent with Taylor on my wedding day. Additionally, I’d like to give mention to the groundskeeping team and service provided by the waitstaff. After a week of non-stop rain and incredible humidity, I was highly impressed with the event execution. The gardens were dry and luscious, the food hot, seasoned to perfection, and thoughtfully garnished. I loved hearing from folks that ordered the vegetarian option that it was “the best we have ever had at a wedding” and from my family friends (also restauranteurs) that they would be “proud to have our daughter married at Mirbeau”. Special thanks to our bridal attendant and server, for taking care of me when I was under the weather and for keeping everyone hydrated!! I was pleased to learn one of my groomsmen thought she deserved "a raise and promotion, immediately".
I look forward to celebrating many more of life’s most precious moments at Mirbeau and visiting in the years to come.
Good luck ever getting in contact with them.
I first filled out the form they have on their website to inquire about wedding details at their venue- never heard from anyone for about a week.
So I call the front desk and they transfer me. She picked up and we chatted a bit and then sent me the information via email. I respond to the email with questions- nothing again. So I wait a week or so and call her direct line- no answer and voicemail is full so can’t leave a message. My fiancé emails and she responds right away. He responds within 5 minutes and now again- no reply! We were just trying to set up a meeting to look at the place and ask about what dates they have available.
So although we would have loved to have our wedding here- not worth it! Imagine if I had already put money down and had real concerns/questions about my wedding and they never responded!
Any questions?
As the mother of the bride, I worked closed with Sarah Bramhall, the coordinator. My daughter lives quite far away, while I live five minutes from the Mirbeau. The entire experience was amazing. My daughter and I received so many compliments about the event from our guests. Sarah's attention to detail and kindness to everyone was also commented on. Everything happened on time, despite a thunder storm. The storm did not cause a problem as Sarah and her team managed this quite well. I highly recommend the Mirbeau in Pinehills for a wedding event and Sarah Bramhall as the coordinator.
Sarah and the Mirbeau team were wonderful and helpful in planning our wedding ceremony, reception, and Sunday brunch. We had to postpone a full year with COVID, but Sarah and her team helped keep everything the same for us. Sarah went above and beyond in helping us stay organized, communicating vendor details, and factoring in many changes over time due to COVID. She was our day of coordinator and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our friends and families raved about the Mirbeau atmosphere, feeling like they were on vacation in France - the whole Mirbeau staff made us all feel welcome for the weekend festivities. We used the Henri-Marie for our ceremony, moved cocktail hour outside, and then had the reception under the tent - it was perfectly set up, the staff is professional, and it was great for us and our guests to be able to walk back to our hotel rooms after the reception ended!
I had my wedding here in September and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was so accommodating and made everything possible. It was truly a fairytale thanks to the staff and our coordinator Sarah Bramhall.
We have had nothing but a fantastic experience with Mirbeau. Sarah has been accommodating and highly communicative every step of the way. We had some ideas that were not along the usual package lines and they were happy to work with us to build it to our liking, something we really appreciated! We were scheduled to have our 70-ish person wedding on 10/10, but due to COVID, we had to postpone until 2021. She made the change extremely simple and a painless process.
We knew we still wanted to get married this year, but more of an elopement with just our immediate families. Sarah showed us the Elopement Packages they were offering and we booked immediately. They were phenomenal at making sure everything was how I wanted and I felt safe and confident in all the safety measures in place. I couldn't have pictured a more perfect day, despite gale force winds! We're looking forward to going back again in October for our big "wedding" with all our guests!
When COVID hit, we were devastated. Fortunately, we came across Mirbeau Inn & Spa which was offering small intimate ceremony packages for a great rate. The event coordinator did a fantastic job meeting our needs and vision. I highly recommend staying at the inn the day before your wedding. I was able to have my mom and sister spend my last night as a "single" woman - we had a cute sleepover. The food is the absolute BEST - from room service, to the restaurant, to the wedding reception. The wedding day went so smoothly too, I did not have to worry about a thing. If you're looking to treat you parents, I gifted them a nice massage the day before the wedding. Honestly, Mirbeau Inn & Spa has SO much to offer. I know my husband and I will be coming back on our future anniversaries.
I had my wedding here on 10/16/20 and it was an awful experience - the wedding coordinator disappeared, the GM asked why I was there when I was standing in front of her with my wedding dress, they allowed another bride and groom and wedding party was taking pictures at my ceremony site when I was supposed to be walking down the aisle in 5 minutes, and they didn't do what I had previously discussed with them on my contract and in emails for my wedding. During our stay, no one knew what their "Minimoon" package was that I paid a few thousand $ for which they have been advertising for months and couldn't give correct billing. No one cleaned our room during a 3 night stay, massages were a rub down with zero pressure and not worth the the $. When I called the CEO to let him know what happened during my wedding and stay, I got nothing but excuses and a pathetic apology after I asked for one! Take your money elsewhere.
Response from the Vendor on 10/29/2020
Liz, unfortunately when you changed the time of the ceremony to an hour earlier, and changed the location 20 minutes before it started, it caused some scrambling. We apologize that the wedding and stay didn't go as well as you had hoped.
Thank...
you,
Patty
We were so happy with this venue. We decided to plan our wedding in two months and we are so lucky that we chose this venue to make it happen. We worked with Sarah and Sarah as our wedding coordinators and they were the only reason everything went off without a hitch in the time frame we threw at them. They were so responsive, friendly and professional. We were truly never worried at any point in the planning process. They were on top of everything- even the smallest details. If you get to work with them, then you don't have to worry about a thing. We will definitely be back to Mirbeau in the future to celebrate anniversaries. A huge thank you again to Sarah and Sarah.
My husband and I were married at Mirbeau Inn and Spa Plymouth in August of 2019. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend. The whole family took advantage of the spa, gorgeous grounds, and delicious food all weekend long. The day of the wedding was seamless and Sarah Bramhall, our wedding coordinator was a dream to work with - nothing was every an issue. Our rehearsal dinner was catered in the Giverny Salon, the ceremony was conducted on the Monet Lawn, and the reception was celebrated in the Henri-Marie. Ultimately, I could not have dreamed up better facilities or better people to work with. The best part is now my husband and I have a place to return to regularly to spend a weekend away and relive our wedding.
We were married at Mirbeau January 4, 2020. It was a beautiful winter wedding and we held our reception in Henri M arie. It was a winter wonderland complete with sparkly lights. The staff handled our every need and detail from how many votive candles were lit on each table to how the beef tenderloin was cooked. I cant say enough great things about the venue and staff. I give Mirbeau ten stars on venue, food, service and professional staff. As a matter of fact we worked together on dimming our reception lights to exactly where I wanted them. Mirbeau hits every note!!!
This venue has everything you need for a perfect wedding. We arrived a day early and relaxed with spa treatments. The bridal and groom’s suites were gorgeous and spacious, enough room to entertain the whole bridal party in style. This full service venue took care of all of the details on the day of the wedding. As the bride, all I had to do was show up and look beautiful. Mirbeau catered the food, drink, and desserts. They even set up the centerpieces and display tables. My guests raved about how delicious everything was! They worked with my budget and were more flexible and accommodating than any other venue I visited. The grounds of the hotel are simply beautiful and made the perfect background for photography. I recommend the Mirbeau to anyone who wants a magical carefree wedding day.
We got married at Mirbeau on 7/6/19 and wish we could do it all over again! We fell upon Mirbeau when we were looking for a unique venue outside the City. We wanted a tent wedding and once we saw the beautiful grounds, we knew Mirbeau was the place! It was such a pleasure working with Sarah. She was extremely patient with us (as at times we were quite indecisive) and she was quick to respond to all our questions. On our wedding day, our guests were not only visually blown away by the venue, but all raved about the cocktails, the service and the food! During dinner service, it began to downpour, but that didn't stop our servers! Sarah and her staff grabbed umbrellas and ran (while getting soaked) our servers under the umbrellas just to make sure things continued to run smoothly. It was incredible and our guests loved every second of it! We are so happy we selected Mirbeau and would do it all over again. I look forward to going back and visiting this magical place!
Hands down, no questions asked, The Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills was amazing! It was the absolute perfect oasis for my husband and I, our families and friends to stay for the weekend of our wedding. While we did not get married at Mirbeau, Sarah Bramhall and the entire staff at the Inn were incredible. Sarah was always prompt with her communications and did so much to not only assist us with setting up our room block but also a DELICIOUS tasting dinner and beautiful rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Everyone was so flexible and supportive as our friends and family flooded in to reconnect, catch up, and celebrate. Inside and out, the Inn & Spa were beautifully kept - such a beautiful retreat it felt like a dream. My husband and I, as well as our friends and family are all already planning trips to come back to this little haven for future anniversaries and reunions!
Wow, where do I even begin. We got married in August and it even rained on our wedding day yet I would not trade anything about the day at Mirbeau. We worked with Sarah Bramhall who is the best event planner. She was always available to answer questions and was so kind. The staff was so friendly and they always had a smile on their face, that will always stick with me. My wedding guests have not stopped talking about the food. We love to entertain so having good food was important for our wedding experience, it was all to die for! We had our ceremony and reception in the Henri-Marie room which was beautiful. I honestly can not say enough about Mirbeau from the staff to the architecture/décor to the food. I will never forget my wedding at Mirbeau and can't wait to return!
We had our rehearsal dinner in the Henri-Marie Chapel. It was amazing! We couldn't have asked for better food from the appetizers through dessert. Most of our guests had surf and turf which was cooked to perfection. People are still talking about it. The pastries were the best I've ever had. We worked with Sarah who was incredible. She went above and beyond in so many ways. She even arranged for some decor owned by Mirbeau to be transported to Pine Hills to be used for the backdrop for our ceremony. The entire staff at Pine Hills goes above and beyond in every way.
This place was amazing for our guests! Most beautiful setting!
